Happened upon this spot after watching a TikTok. Had French Toast with lemon goat cheese and ham. Sounds odd but it was really great. Elevated, but not overly foo-foo, breakfast fare. This new location is quaint with good service. I was tempted by the Breakfast Grilled Cheese then re-read my review from their Sherwood location. Instead, I opted for the simple egg on brioche. It comes with a side salad, one of the better values on the menu. I was disappointed to see Tabasco (you know, like from the '80s), but appreciated the homemade hot sauce. My partner had the steak and eggs. Decent, but not too memorable. Quick read: YES, COME HERE! We took a chance on this place when some unexpected family flew into town and wanted a good breakfast. This was the first spot open long enough for us to still squeeze one in. As soon as we walked in, we noticed a sign proudly supporting inclusion and justice. As a Mexican queer woman, seeing that right away felt genuinely welcoming. We grabbed a table, got our menus, and I immediately noticed the Community Meal option-where anyone can come in and get a meal, no questions asked, free of cost. Our server overheard us talking about it and was ready to offer it with complete respect. We were the only ones in this restaurant and they were okay with providing meals for free if we needed them. That alone speaks volumes about the kind of place this is. When ordering, we learned they don't even have a freezer everything is fresh and locally sourced. Big win. One of us ordered the French toast, and wow... I wish I had too. It was beautiful, topped with nuts for the perfect crunch, and made with brioche bread. PHENOMENAL. I had a bite (and got the leftovers), and it was just as amazing cold. I ordered the chorizo breakfast sandwich with a side of tots, and even the quality of the oil they fry with must be top-notch because those tots had the perfect crispy outside with soft, fluffy insides. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros, which I barely saw before he devoured it and immediately went into a happy food coma. We also had biscuits and gravy--slightly sweeter than usual, but still delicious. I'll absolutely be bringing friends here for future breakfast dates. Brand new place in the neighborhood, 1mo old. Found it by searching Yelp for breakfast places nearby. I just had the "Usual" which is two eggs, potatoes and meat. I also added a "Side Pancake". All it was pretty good plus the service was fantastic. It's a cute little place, so stop in sometime. I found the first cup of coffee sour, but when they refilled it, it tasted fine. p.s. At any restaurant, if you receive a sour coffee, just ask your server to replace it from a fresher batch. Most places are fine with that. read more

We were on the hunt for a place that serves breakfast food "late" and we were lucky to find Fat Milo's! It's a small restaurant and service can be a but slow, but the coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches hit the spot. We opted for salad (choice of breakfast potatoes or salad) and we loved the crunchy breadcrumbs sprinkled on top. There's not much for ambience but we just wanted something to get our day started well, in and out. The chorizo breakfast sandwich tasted great, but was difficult to eat because it's a giant link split lengthwise. You really need to chomp through the casing. Would be nice if the chorizo was cut up a bit more. Prices were decent for the food and it's definitely worth a repeat visit. read more

It was such an amazing and personal experience. I have trouble with going to breakfast places around Portland because they just seem so "in and out" if that makes sense. Very warm and attentive service. Double burger - unreal. So juicy and tender. Tots fried to perfection. Pancake stack- heavenly, fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Huevos Rancheros - I would say skip this one, the sauce is forgettable and the dish leaves you feeling meh. I'd be happy with a deeper more complex sauce.
