Vicious Biscuit was a place we would drive by and make fun of the fact that it is ALWAYS PACKED. Like "what can be so great about a biscuit?" Boy were we wrong. When the Biscuits are made with that amount of love, IT SHOWS. Cheddar and Jalapeño biscuits? YES. Black beans, fried avocado, fresh salsa, and a perfect egg on top? FIRE. Vegetarian friendly and absolutely delicious. AND THEY HAVE A FULL BAR! Pictured are 'The Ranchero' , the fried chicken one, and the 'Sea Biscuit' ranchero being my favorite. Anyways, do yourself a favor; visit this place. THIS IS THE BEST BREAKFAST YOU CAN HAVE IN CHARLESTON. Hands down. Also, service is amazing and the kitchen staff really care. read more

The food was phenomenal!!! The best bus I have ever had. The wait was long but if your concerned about that you can order ahead and pick up from the side door. The food and drinks were as amazing as expected and we will definitely be back!! read more

Oh wow the biscuits here are sooo good. Packed with flavor and spices. Everything you would want in a biscuit sandwich. I got the ranchero and my husband got the Vicious. Both were amazing. I usually don't go for gravy on biscuits but the gravy they have here is slightly sweet and a little salty. I actually really enjoyed it and when I go back I might actually get the vicious. All in all, probably everything on the menu is worth trying! read more

Used to be my favorite breakfast in Charleston. Went today for first time in several months and the biscuits look like cow patties. Nothing like they used to - I remember big and flakey and delicious. No taste at all to them now. Bacon in a puddle of grease, grits have no taste anymore. I used to lick the bowl clean of the grits. Not anymore. Even the condiments have gone downhill at the butter and jelly bar. Really sad to see a I loved this place. Wont be returning. read more

line was long. took 25 minute on a saturday morning to order so it's understandable. it made me uncomfortable that there was an unreasonable amount of tall people in this place. people had their legs squished under the table as mine were barely touching the floor. there were ravenous children climbing the walls of the line. i'm scared. food is taking a long time but it is very crowded. once the food got here it was exquisite other than the fact that my cousin had a black long hair in her biscuit. she's brunette..... other than that though it was amazing! that biscuit was definitely vicious! also, my uncle is the best there is. nobody else like him on the world. .....that was my uncle read more

The staff was very nice and the portions were big and the food was pretty good. The Gravy Biscuit was very good with a hint of sweet from the maple sausage. The the serving was huge. The Vicious Biscuit was good also which was a fried chicken breast on a regular biscuit instead of the customary cheddar jalapeño biscuit. That orange juice was $5 though for maybe a 12-14 oz. serving; oh my. read more

Great brunch spot in Mt. Pleasant! My husband and I split the Crab Benny (and we were glad we split one entree when we saw the size of it!). Crab cake was awesome, the hollandaise was on point, the fried green tomato flavorful, and the runny egg was the icing on the cake. Altogether, Great flavors and probably the best biscuit I've ever had - make sure to grab some of their homemade butters and jams as well for the plain top portion of the biscuit (honey butter and strawberry jam were my favs!). My husband loved his Bloody Mary and my iced coffee was also legit. My only possible criticism (and reason for 4/5 stars) was that our runny egg had a lot of clear runny egg white which I'm never okay with so maybe just ask for your egg over medium. read more

This place is my favorite breakfast place. It's out of this world and portion sizes are great. Service is always fast. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes even when they're busy. They are always extremely friendly and helpful. When the front counter employee wasn't knowledgeable about my allergy the manager was and I really appreciated it. They gave me options without making me feel embarrassment in any way. The gluten free biscuit is massive. You can bring pets and sit outside in a big tent. It's always an overall wonderful experience to eat at Vicious Biscuit Mount Pleasant location! Recommend 10/10. read more

This is probably not the most fair review, but after waiting outside for 30 minutes to get something that was probably not very healthy, I just don't get it? I'll try them again and perhaps I'll be able to give them more than three stars but for right now that's all I can feel good about giving them. They were nice when I placed my order But I'm sorry to say I threw it all in the trash. Brief update and that is Josh from vicious biscuit sent me a message to let me know that there are some healthier options available so I'll give these guys another try and let you know! read more

Vicious Biscuit Big Bark Big Bite 'Ello chaps! Taking a stroll along Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant and you'll come along the newly opened Vicious Biscuit. Telling you its newly open is one reason to explain the very long line you'll likely see -- well beyond the front door. But, despite the long line, we were quite impressed at how quickly the line was moving and how fast people were served. It wasn't until talking with one of the owners did we find out they were only open for about a week. They have quite a well oiled machine. Part of the reason may be because of their somewhat limited menu -- but not limited in a bad way necessary. Vicious Biscuit is a nod to their spicy take on things, with the addition of jalapeños etc in menu items. I'm a bit surprised that while you can get a mountain of food in a biscuit -- a HUGE BISCUIT at that -- you can't get something as simple as a bacon egg and cheese. In fact if you want something tame, the best item you can get is a breakfast platter of sorts. It was still quite delicious. The potatoes and grits are top notch is so is the biscuit. They also have a "butter and jam bar" where there is a small selection of freebie add ones like honey butter. Overall: I give Vicious Biscuit Four Cheers Out of Five. The service was superb, quick, friendly, and efficient. I the food was delicious and quick to come out, impressive for their short term in business. They have indoor and outdoor space -- and are pet friendly. Everything we look for in a grub go to. The one knock down is there isn't at least one or two more items that's just simple. Like a bacon egg and cheese. Something more than just the platter. read more

Had their shrimp and grits, the flame thrower, and beignets. Everything was delicious. Would go there for breakfast everyday if they open a location in Chicago. The biscuits were large and moist. Shrimp and grits had good flavor, the flame thrower had a little kick, chicken was fried just right. Beignets were delicious. Will go back! read more

The portions are large and all I've tried have been delicious. Go early or later- always seems to be a line!

Um okay. Wow. Delicious. I had the Huevos Rancheros Biscuit, and every element was so so good. I ordered the dish with scrambled eggs and grilled chicken! Next time I will order with more of the sauce. I also ordered an iced chai which was decently spicy, not too sweet or milky. My husband got an Americano and it was not bitter or made incorrectly Also worth noting that I picked my food up like 20 minutes after I got the text that it was ready, and it was still delicious. Customer service was welcoming and attentive as well. Felt right at home. 10/10 read more

Wish i could give this place 10 stars. I loved it! The staff- amazing, friendly, warm and super helpful. The food- life changing. I got the ranchero and the shortcake. We tried Vicious Biscuit for the first time this past Monday while family was visiting. It seems to be a very popular restaurant, because the parking lot was very full. Despite that, when we entered the restaurant we did not have to wait to order... aside from the fact that we didn't know what we wanted yet. They do have menus to peruse while waiting in line along the walls. The line ended up getting quite long as we ate. Our food came out quickly. I ordered The Vicious, and was very pleased! It was delicious, and I really loved the savory-sweet combination. My two children split a Greek Yogurt Bowl and each "ate" a buttermilk biscuit. Ate is in quotations, because the biscuits are HUGE! They could have easily split one and still had some leftover. I ended up eating a bit of one of their biscuits with some blackberry jelly, which was super good too. I hear that there are plans for a Vicious Biscuit in Summerville, which is closer for me. But until then, I'm not against making the trip back to this location. So good! read more
