Was not impressed. The restaurant was very busy yet half of the dining area was blocked off. Biscuits were cold and hard and the taste was overwhelming salty. read more

First time visiting the biscuit. I wasn't sure what to expect, other than biscuits. Overall they have a bunch of options, both entrees and sides. There is certainly a focus towards breakfast foods, but also several non- breakfast options. They also have alcohol! I was expecting a side down service with wait staff. This is a typical fast casual option, order at the counter on your way in and they deliver to your table. The bacon and ham were excellent. The biscuit was good, not great. They are certainly large biscuits. I also got grits, I like them traditional style, grits with salt and butter. These were really creamy, maybe cheese or cream in them. Not bad, but not how I prefer them. Overall a good option if you're in the mood for some breakfast foods read more

What a GREAT Find! The Cafe Mocha was amazing... the Eggs Benny so good that I order it every time now. My husband had the Acai Bowl and loved it. And often we order an extra biscuit (sooooo good)... and they have a fun jam and flavored butter bar to use with the delicious biscuits. The staff is all very accommodating and friendly. It's a new favorite for us!!! read more

Wow! was this pace good. We loved everything about it. Coffee, food and atmosphere a very nice surprise stop. The biscuits were amazing some if the best I ever had. Choices galore. read more

My daughter has wanted me to try this place for awhile because she absolutely loves it We finally made it here today and I was not impressed. I had the Vicious Benny for $13 for the biscuit only, sides are extra. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes. The biscuit was good, the eggs were cooked on high so the edges were the burnt and the egg was discolored to a dark brown. For me the Hollandaise was too tart luckily it was barely sauced so I didn't have much to scrape off , which if you liked their sauce would be disappointed by the lack of sauce. The fried green tomatoes were frozen and you could immediately tell . I left 2 of the 4 tomatoes, and half a biscuit with eggs and ham behind. The staff was kind and helpful. Unfortunately though, I will not be back again. read more

This place opens early, and closes early, it's definitely a brunch spot. The employee behind the counter was very helpful and you order and they bring your food out to you. The bathrooms were clean and the place looks brand new. It is clean. I ordered fried green matters, they were just okay, lots of grease. But you get pickled okra, and bacon jam and some type of cheese spread. I also ordered a biscuit and a maple gravy bowl and a side of potatoes and an extra side of gravy. The gravy is delicious and so is the biscuit, you don't need extra gravy unless you want it for sides or dipping, you get more than enough with your purchase. But I have to say the gravy was really good. The potatoes were just meh. I would come back to get a sandwich, or just another gravy biscuit bowl. There was a gentleman who came out from the back when I was cleaning up my space, the place is pretty big and they do clean up, but it was early and I just do that stuff to help staff, anyways a staff person came out to get a drink from the fountain drink machine and I asked him if I could get a bigger container for the extra gravy I purchased, they do have little butter containers, for their butter bar, but I needed a bigger container, they obliged. Like I said place was very clean and it was early like 7:15am and there were patrons there before me. Family's and friends were coming in as I was leaving, and it wasn't even 8 am. They do have a Gluten Free biscuit for those of you with an allergy, but they do not have separate friers so, not sure if the gravy is Gluten free, the employee told me she would ask, but it's a biscuit place, can't expect them to have a total Gluten free side to the menu. But they have a biscuit. Biscuits here are very good. read more

Awesome service and good!!! It was very good and would highly recommend!!! yay!!!!!

Great addition to this plaza! I saw their giant sign as soon as it was up and as a local and brunch lover, I'd been looking forward to giving this place a try. Arrived at 11am on a Sunday and stood in line by a sign that said from that spot the wait would be about 25 minutes. It was almost exactly 25 minutes from that point to the front of the line so we really appreciated the accurate level setting! You go up to the counter and order your food, then you get a table number and they bring it out to you. I ordered a coffee and they give you a ceramic mug which you fill and can refill yourself as many times as you want. I found the coffee excellent so I was happy to get as many refills as my caffeine loving heart desired :) They don't have a ton of vegetarian options but I found a few things. I ordered the munchkin platter (and was thrilled I was allowed to order that with no questions asked, being an adult and all) and subbed the bacon for fruit. The platter was perfect as it allowed me to try a sampling of pretty much everything I wanted! I even added a pancake on the side and it was a ton of food. My only small complaint is that I was upcharged for the fruit and wasn't told that would be the case when it was offered as my only substitute for the meat. Other than that though, all was great. Everything tasted really good, especially the biscuit and the pancake. The jam bar with the different butter and jam options was great too! My friend ordered one of the biscuit sandwiches with bacon and a side of potatoes with fresh orange juice and really enjoyed everything as well. I will be back for sure. Thank you, Vicious Biscuit! read more

The food was really good. We got ours to go. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, the shrimp and grits, and the sweet puppies and everything was delicious. We would 100% order all of this again, but next time, we will be trying different items. read more

I live nearby and finally visited for brunch this past weekend. The fresh squeezed orange juice was the best I've ever had. I also ordered the Animal Farm biscuit and it was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised the bacon had a sweet and spicy flavor. Mild spice level (not too spicy). We also ordered and Vicious Beignets which were so good we scarfed them down in 2 minutes. It was crowded yet fast service! Friendly customer service. I loved the butter bar also. You can get various flavors of sauces and butter. I will definitely be back! read more

My go-to breakfast spot when I am in Akron. Feels like you're down south with all the biscuits, bacon and grits. Can't wait to back!

My name is Los jimmy. The biscuits was the best biscuits I've ever had in my life. I got the vicious t biscuits and it was so good so so goooooooooooooood. The biscuits taste like vicious and vicious. So vicious. It was so vicious. The vicious was biscuit and the biscuit was vicious. I highly recommend the vicious biscuit. Best chocolate milk and best view from the window and best ambiance and best everything. The best and the best only. Super awesome. If you don't go here than you really missin out. Guess who's back? Back again! IYKYK. I had to check out the new Vicious Biscuit in Akron,Ohio! Last year, I visited and reviewed the location in NC. Consistency is what they are doing! I ordered the exact same items to compare between the two locations and everything was just as delicious as I remembered. I had The Mater biscuit and Jalapeño Cheddar hush puppies. The Mater is a large golden lightly buttered and flaky biscuit topped with caramelized onion and bacon jam and pimento cheese and lightly breaded crispy on the outside tender on the inside fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes are cooked to perfection not mushy or overly soft. They have a light crunch followed by that seasoned tender tomato. The bacon jam and pimento combo is a perfect balance of sweet and savory in each bite. I highly recommend a knife and fork. The hush puppies are fried to a golden brown and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not spicy from the jalapeño at all. The Skully sauce is nice for dipping. Do you want to know what I suggest? I recommend that you use some of the extra pimento cheese from your Maters and spread it onto your jalapeño cheddar hush puppies. Thank me later. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday around 12:30pm and they were busy but they were efficiently serving everyone and tables were available right away. Vicious Biscuits can host a small party in their semi private room and they have tables that can seat larger parties . It's a great brunch spot or a place you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in a fun and casual atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. The hush puppies are $7, The Mater is $10,The Fried Green Maters are 9.59 and The shrimp and grits my friend ordered are $16.50. I want a Body By Biscuit T shirt so I can wear it to the gym. Lol. Please go get Vicious ! You won't regret it. read more

When you place your order they give you a number ~ you can sit anywhere!! When you pay they ask for the tip upfront I gave 18% which was about 9.50~ which is fine but I was confuse should I tip when I leave ( I did but only $5.00) I felt rushed when ordering you have to order as soon as you get there so I just ordered Nashville Hot Chicken it had just enough heat! I ordered a crab with egg on biscuit ( I forgot the name) it was ok my daughter had a biscuit sandwich of course I had a piece it was tasty had pimento cheese on it it was sooo yummy!! Idk 3 biscuits sandwich and tip came to 52 bucks lol we had water. I did like the butter/ condiment station it had a variety of jams and butter and sauces! I will be back to try their shrimp and grits!! read more

Lookahere! So I've grown a bit skeptical when it comes to a restaurant advertising that they have Southern cooking. I've avoided BBQ spots in this area for consistently missing the mark. But this time was different. I hit the door with high hopes, but I've been let down before. I ordered the Vicious, my wife ordered the shrimp and grits, and my daughter ordered the Crab Benny. All winners!!! The Vicious was bussin (my daughter taught me that one)! I added some hot sauce (I won't hold it against them that they didn't have Texas Pete) for just some extra kick. There is only one place that came close to that, and it is in Atlanta. This biscuit was a 10 out of 10 for me. The jalapeño puffs were weak, but that is beside the point. On top of that, guess what? These fools had the nerve to sell sweet tea...and got it right! Thank ya'll for bringing this type of food up North. read more

Biscuit was 10/10 drink cups should be a little better for a place that's menu revolves around bread. Great service and vibe.

Excellent food and service. Menu is outstanding, choices for everyone! Very good coffee.

The atmosphere, employees, food, and drinks exceeded my every expectation! While waiting in line, a gentleman who works there was offering a warm smile to everyone and was genuinely welcoming each patron ~ while busily cleaning and delivering food. Ordering was easy, and the employees working the counter were both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu~ there's a LOT of options so that's super helpful lol! The fresh squeezed orange juice is a nice added touch The food came out super quickly ~ so fresh and delicious! Everyone ordered something different, so it was fun to see all the options plated :) Our plates were quickly cleared as we finished, with multiple people assuring we had everything we needed...and without rushing us to leave. A perfect place for a great meal and smiling faces!!! So glad we went this morning and can't wait to go back! What an amazing new addition! read more

very friendly service. It took 25 minutes to get my food which seems a bit longer than what I expected. I ordered the sweet potato bites, beignets, spicy chicken biscuit, scrambled eggs, and chicken sausage. my favorite was the spicy chicken biscuit, but my wife didn't like it and said it was too spicy. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, and the chicken sausage was pretty good. Personally, I thought that the sweet potato bites and beignets were kind of dry, but my wife loved them. I only gave them four instead of five stars because honestly, some of the food was great and some of it not so great. read more

Came in excited, left disappointed. Ordering: Fast casual set up, you order and then they give you a number and you sit down. Only one cashier when very busy= slow, long wait to order. Seat yourself, place your number up on table. When busy, not enough seats for sure. Service: Once you order, you wait. And the wait was substantial. We waited close to 30 minutes for food after waiting 15-20 minutes to order, not fast casual at all. The other thing is if you need to order something else, you have to flag a random staff member down which is challenging as no one is assigned to your table. Food: Was ok. After waiting 30 minutes, I expected more. Food was warm not piping hot. Biscuits were soft, minimal texture on outside. When you open them up, no steam, just warm. Flavors were ok. Butter/jam bar was a nice addition. Eggs unseasoned. An ok place for brunch but set up and execution were not great. read more

I had the Vicious biscuit. It was good but not amazing. Not sure if it is supposed to be served cold but it was somewhat lukewarm. The gravy was my favorite part but everything about it was good. I also got a biscuit so I could try the different butters & jellies. The biscuit was very good & the maple bourbon butter was awesome. The coffee is self serve but good. The person taking the order was very nice & the seating are was clean. A little pricey for what it is but I would try it again read more

Great spot. Nice menu. Mimosas. Plenty of good seating for large family gathering. A little bit pricier than fast food.

I was unfortunately not satisfied with my experience. First I have to say the service itself was good. Not that you really had anyone waiting on you. However the people that work here were very pleasant. I do wish there was a different way with the seating since it is first come first serve. The line is very long at times so waiting for a table can be challenging. The atmosphere was cool. I am not a fan of buffet style anything since half the time people can be less than hygienic. As far as the food, I myself got the biscuits and gravy because that is always my go to if any restaurant makes it. First the gravy wasn't a bit bland and more floury than anything. I was not an overt fan of their biscuit. It is big, you don't need more than one, however it reminded me more of what a hamburger bun is like. It wasn't flaky, fluffy, fall apart, airy. Not even one of these. It was almost as dense as a piece of cornbread. It wasn't terrible or the worst thing I've had, but if you have "Biscuit" in your name you have to deliver. I think KFC, Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel unfortunately have better ones. Their butters and jams that they have are very tasty. I loved their strawberry jam. And I got a side of their thick cut bacon and that was very good as well. I am willing to give them another try but would get something else. But it comes down to the biscuit and it wasn't amazing. read more

M- not much table service available but the staff did greet us a few times. The biscuit was nice but not enough to open the doors for. You can find many places that serve biscuit some good some not. The place was a take on a chicken and waffle house we had the old school plater. Potatoes were deep fried cubes the meat was prepackaged and the eggs well you get the idea. Overall the place would not attract a breakfast club. No morning bargains on price. But modern and clean. It is harder to find a sit down table service and a friendly smile from Flo keep looking. read more

You have to love that Vicious Biscuit has the biggest signs on the corner. It is fairly new but brings in plenty of people. I finally discovered why. While we were in the area, we decided to see what all of the hub bub was about. We entered the store which was very open and welcoming. We walked up to place our order from the menu above the register and there were so many options that there is no way something would not have looked interesting. The woman who took our order was the happiest woman ever and helped with ideas of what we may want to try off of the menu. We did not regret that at all and enjoyed every bite of what she suggested. The employees were happy and not in the way but near if we needed anything. We were provided with all we could possibly want. The establishment was clean and had so much to look at on the walls. The food was different in an original way and so delicious. Also, and this was a nice addition to our visit, they honor Veterans. That was another perk to us randomly stopping in. We will return to try some of the other menu items. Id give more stars if it was possible. read more

What a find in the heart of Fairlawn! I got Huevos Ranchero and it was delicious. Just perfect really.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere, the chicken on the Vicious was really good- high quality, the butter/jam bar is nice to be able to try different types, the gravy train sausage gravy had mild, non pepper maple flavor- different than everywhere else. The food was absolutely amazing! We've been to similar style restaurants in the South and we are so glad to finally have something up here. The portions are pretty good size. I highly recommend the Vicious Beignets! There is so much homemade whip cream with the beignets that you will want to put it on everything else. The butter and jam bar is full of delicious options for their amazing biscuits and pancakes. The biscuits feel heavy when you pick them up but on the inside they are light, fluffy, and full of flakey and buttery goodness. I'm personally not a huge biscuit fan but these have won me over. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You almost can't believe this place has been open for less than a month! We arrived just a few minutes after opening and the place already for busy with quite the line but it moves at a good pace. The one part that confused us was the fountain drinks. I'm not sure if they are free or if we just weren't charged for them. read more

I thought it was ok, but ultimately it wasn't worth the money I spent. The line was long with one cashier. The food was ok, not as tasty or flavorful as the description would have you think. I did not like the biscuits. They have the texture of a brioche hamburger bun, not a crumbly biscuit. I would rather pay the amount I paid to go to valley cafe or Akron Family. read more

I think how well you like this place is going to depend a lot on how agreeable you are to certain aspects of their operation. For me they're just "ok" per the three stars. As others have said - this is a "food plaza" kind of purchase. I wouldn't call it fast casual, as you don't get your food through the line like a Chipotle. You stand in line to get to the cashier and order, then get a number for your table. Only issue is since the place is still new and popular the line is loong and moves slowly since for some reason they only have one cashier. Food seemed to come out in a reasonable timeframe for me, although others have said it can take a while. I waited around 10-15 minutes I'd say after standing in line for probably 15. Food - again, just okay for me. For all the excitement the menu generates, I thought the food was average tasting - from the biscuit to the gravy, everything was pretty neutral, with no salt or pepper on the tables. As others have mentioned - most items were just warm, not hot, so either it's sat under a warming light for a while, or it's not being cooked, just rewarmed. So wasn't really impressed for the wait. Eggs (I got scrambled) had a weird look. Like not clumpy like when you or I cook them in a skillet - they had more of a pancake look actually. Flat with no texture. Biscuit was kind of weird too - when I went to split it with my knife it had that "I've just come out of the microwave" feeling; kind of hard, yet soft at the same time. Not trying to throw shade on the place, just being honest about my experience. I know this doesn't mean much to most - but since I really watch what I eat and only splurge every once in a while - this is most definitely a splurge. Grits tasted more like mascarpone/butter pudding, and the sausage gravy was definitely mostly cream and butter. All in all - for the wait and the uninspiring food, I probably won't be back. But I'm sure for a lot of folks this will hit the spot. read more

I have been here twice since they opened. Both times were amazing. The jam bar was almost empty, but the friendly staff made up for it.
