5 stars! I cant say enough about this healthy, vegetarian, vegan restaurant that delights my tongue. The portion was perfect. Place is clean, nice, eclectic, hippie-ish vibe, and plenty of outdoor seating during Covid-19. The Blue burger was amazing, juicy and melted in my mouth, Make sure to get extra Veganese! The only draw backs was the long wait of about 25 min, but they were busy so I understood. They also need to label their food if its spicy or not because the salad came with a spicy dressing that was not disclosed. Will defiantly come back! read more

This place is amazing! Super clean, excellent food & the servers were gracious hosts. We got to meet the chef/owner Richard who was quick to share his knowledge of the area. We had the jackfruit nachos - so good! I treated myself to a beet root latte and my partner had the ginger lemonade - highly recommend. read more

After filling my belly with an amazing latte and so much delicious food I have decided this is my new favorite. The service, the beverages, the food, the vibe...outstanding. The menu is all vegetarian but to the wary carnivores, don't let that stop you. This isn't your average veggie stop! The food rocks and you leave with zero regrets. We got the jack fruit tacos which where amazing. The jack fruit is used to texture more than flavor and the favor! I swear to you it tastes like pork. We also ordered the goat cheese dip which was wonderful! The table next to us ordered the stuffed mushrooms which I will have to come back and try. They looked out of this world. I would also argue that they served up the best latte I have had in Hilo. They just recently opened, so show them some love and try them out! This place is an awesome addition to Hilo town. Thanks for some yummy avocado toast and lemonades! Right outside of the airport these guys have great service and great food. Ask about their specials and everything is made to order so I wouldn't hesitate to ask for just what you want. The place is clean and they have live music events. It's been clear for awhile that things are going downhill at Vibe Cafe. I wish that the management would take a hard look at how they run orders, what quality of ingredients they use and how they treat and pay staff. High turn overs mean that the service keeps dropping off. I've had too many late orders to count at this point and so I'm done with Vibe. read more

Went to vibe twice had the poke bowl, the Buffalo wings, the açaí bowl and the vegan breakfast scramble. The poke bowl and the wings were amazing, full of flavor and exceeded our expectations. The next time we went we got the breakfast scramble and the açaí bowl and they were more of a miss. The açaí bowl toppings looked great but sadly the açaí bowl was so sweet that it was hard to eat and didn't taste like açaí and it's normally tart flavor. The breakfast scramble also needed some more salt or some hot sauce. I would recommend this place though as I think the menu is super creative and the service was great. read more

I'm so happy that there's another healthy place to eat in Hilo. And it's off of the main highway, Kanoelehua. Food here was damn good. The house made salsas were amazing. The BBQ "brisket" sandwich was amazing (I could drink the sauce) and the cashew cheese nachos were awesome. We walk in at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon and we were told everything is sold out except Jackfruit tacos and salad. WTH! I asked what time they close and they said 8 PM. This was the right choice for a quick and delicious breakfast stop. If you are wanting something light, healthy, and flavorful go with The Caprese! The smashed avocado was the best I've had in a long time. (Wish they sold it ) I also had a cappuccino that came in a cute large cup and I opted for the oat milk (recommended when they didn't have almond) and I really savored every sip of that to the point my friends I was traveling with left to go to the head shop next door while I continued drinking. I have a huge sweet tooth so as soon as I saw they offered CBD Donuts there was in front of me within seconds. YUM! Dense almost like a cake but nonetheless great! One of the few restaurants that have many vegetarian options in Hilo. The first time we went, we got the mushroom swiss burger and the big fat Greek salad, which were delicious. They use beyond burgers, they don't make their own (which sometimes is better based on my experience with plant based burgers). However, the second time we went, we were a little disappointed. We got the mushroom bruschetta, which to be honest had a weird taste and texture. I got the tamales, which were delicious except the rice it was served on was plain white. Don't even bother with the wings -- mushy and not crispy at all. No complaints with the jackfruit nachos and teriyaki tofu sandwich -- these were good! Vibe is a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. Unfortunately Hilo, Hawaii doesn't have any all vegan restaurants, but everything (vegan) I've had at Vibe is delicious and keeps me coming back! They're now open for Sunday brunch (only place I can find vegan breakfast in town) and they always have several vegan specials. In addition to food, they have an extensive list of coffees, limeades and lemonades and they offer local kombuchas and local vegan ice cream. read more

Love the place after just walking in literally had a great Vibe. First after entering they explained how to order and it was super easy and convenient. Received our food in a short period of time. Food was amazing and especially good for vegan and vegetarian food which I don't normally eat. It's also a very kid friendly place which I really loved! Vibe Cafe is the best "concious cookery" restaurant on the Island! They really put good "vibes" into their vegan food! For once, we now have a vegan restaurant worth going to! In love with Vibe's Beet "poke" Salad! They use a sesame seed/ wasabi type of dressing over a very nice portion of romaine lettuce, cubes of beets, cucumber & pickled ginger. I chose this place because of the reviews. The coffee I ordered did not taste like coffee... but like boiling water with soy milk added. I could not drink the coffee I ordered until an hour after I ordered it-- it was that hot. Came here around 5ish ordered the big nasty burger, the acai bowl and a small fried rice. Was totally M-eh. Considering the high prices and the reviews on yelp, I was totally disappointed. The service was friendly but we had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food even though there was only 1 other party at the restaurant at that time. Vibe cafè is a nice bridge between the herbivore and the omnivore world. They use a beyond meat burger patty for all of their burgers (which is hearty like meat but definitely is not) aside from the philly and the bbq brisket sandwiches, which are house made with a seitan loaf (meat substitute.) I thoroughly enjoy all of their rainbow lattès as well as their caffeinated drinks! They also use locally sourced 100% Puna Coffee. My current favorites on the menu are the 'Fiesta taco pizza'- (a taco style pizza? Exquisite.) I also really like the matcha on ice with soy, as well as the iced lotus blossom chai. read more
