Romantic cozy interior lots of older folks. Waiter was super personable and chatty and made us feel at home. I didn't like my cocktail and they gladly changed it out free of charge which was super considerate of them. Food a bit on the pricier side, but pretty good quality and well-made. Tuna tartar was decent nothing amazing. Gnocchi was soft and had good flavor. First time trying quail, super buttery and tender. Lemon tart dessert was not too sweet and had yummy jams paired with.

Love the steak here ... but now you have to pre order the porterhouse FYI. We didn't know so we got two orders of the NY Steak. The arugula salad is a great pairing with the steak. Also enjoyed the truffle ricotta filled pasta and pasta with meat sauce. Nice outdoor patio with heat lamps. Server was good and I always appreciate his tips and suggestions.

What a wonderful dinner we had! My husband, friend, and I dined here on a Saturday night without a reservation and we were able to grab a few seats at the bar. Justin at the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about drinks. We all loved our cocktails and were off to a great start. We also ordered a bottle of red wine with Justin's help and it was lovely. For our mains, we all decided to split the agnolotti, tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, steak, and the pork chop. Holy cow everything was amazing. I pride myself in being a foodie and this spot hit all the marks. The pastas brought me back to Tuscany. All the dishes felt very homey with well balanced flavors. The pastas were amazing with my favorite being the agnolotti. The steak had amazing flavor and char and I loved the arugula salad on the side for freshness. I rarely eat pork chops but this one was great. It was the perfect savory and slightly sweet balance. It definitely felt like fall in a dish. Italian desserts aren't my go to but we decided to get the cherry gelato and panna cotta. The panna cotta was phenomenal with the huckleberry reduction. The cherry gelato was tasty as well. All in all, we had a very standout dinner and I cannot wait to return!

We really enjoyed our experience here! The ambiance is great both for indoor and outdoor seating. The food was amazing, we both ordered pasta dishes and were really pleased with the quality. Our waiter was knowledgeable about wine and helped us make our decision! Will come back!

Came here because of the reviews and was disappointed. First off the service was not good. We stood at the greeting podium for a good ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged us while staff ran to and fro. After we sat down it was a solid 15 to 20 minutes before we were asked for our order. I understand the not rushing but at least come say hi? We ordered only water and were never offered refills. We did notice other tables had bottles of water at their table to refill themselves but our table was not given one. I had to ask someone to please refill our water. Just felt neglected. The food was decent. We started with a salad that was crunchy and well seasoned. My husband had the grilled shrimp. He said it didn't taste right. It was slimy too. Perhaps it was pre cooked? I had the beet ravioli which to my taste was undercooked. I think al dente is great but when it is hard no bueno. It was only hard at the folded end. The other end was cooked fine.

Went to a UCB baseball game and walked here after to meet a friend for a 830 PM reservation. We shared a salad that was lightly dressed and was refreshing. We had ravioli carne next which was impeccable, 100% would recommend. We finished the evening with a halibut with truffle sauce over fava beans and fava leaves. For desert we shared an olive oil cake with mandarin cream and cardamom ice cream. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. Compliments to the chef.

Same owners as Prima in walnut creek?

Yes, the owner is Peter Chastain former owner of Prima in Walnut Creek

Could you please tell me who is currently the chef here? Thanks for your help.

Hello Deb. The Chef is Massimo Orlando

Can we bring a dog if we sit in the parklet?

Of course you can. We love pooches.

How much is the corkage fee if my bring my own wine?

Good evening. Yes we have a corkage fee of $20. Thank you and have a great weekend

I would like more info about your outdoor seating options. Are there heaters? On the street, or a patio area?

Hi Jo Ann. It's a parklet with built in electric heaters.

We have an outdoor reservation and are wondering if the patio is covered?

Patio/parklet is very well covered and there is electric radiant heat for the evenings when supplemental warmth is needed.

Do they have food to go? Pick up, not delivery. We aren't eating in restaurants until this flaming pandemic is down to ashes.

Good morning Dana. Yes we do to go food, pick up only. Thank you

First, these are the nicest people in the wine business. Warm and gracious and extremely knowledgable about the wine and vineyards. When we first qwnt to Noria, it was mostly superb Pinots and Chardonnay. Since, they've added a wonderful Gewürztraminer and a bomb Sauvignon Blanc as well. These are finely crafted wines from some of the best vineyards in Sonoma and beyond (no, they don't have rows of vines in Berkeley) and the bang for the buck is off the charts. I'm mostly a red drinker and only enjoy Pinots occasionally and Noria was my go-to. The addition of more white wines (and rosé) combined with my move to a warmer climate have made Noria indespensible for me. Absolutely check them out. Do yourself a favor and start at Noria, go across the street to Broc Cellars and then Donkey and Goat for a perfect wine tasting day right in Berkeley.

From its modest façade, you'd never guess the incredible wine that awaits within. Stepping inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that harmoniously blends Japanese elegance with classic winery charm. Each wine I sampled showcased unique flavors and a refined balance that spoke volumes! The barrel room and outdoor seating area made the winery cozy and comfortable! Definitely will be returning to try out more of their wines
