Exceptional dining experience. Food was absolutely delicious and made fresh.Tagliatelle al Ragù with house-made pasta and 5-hour cooked ragu was out of this world! Enoteca Molinari boasts an exquisite italian wine-by-the-glass selection including less known delicious Nebbiolo and Barolo wines from the Piedmont region. Go if you can. This restaurant will transport you to Italy. Reasonable prices. Not to be missed.

This place is cute, comfy, and delicious. They have a delicious wine menu and the food is scrumptious. We got the arancini, the ragu, and a fish dish. The fish was cooked just right and tasted fresh. The ragu's umami went perfectly with the reds we have. The service was very friendly. I'd definitely recommend and come back.

I am so glad I ran into this cute little spot. Date night was definitely a success. We walked in and they were able to seat us right away. There were no Covid guidelines, I believe. It kinda felt normal pre-Covid times. We started off with some wine before we even figured out what we wanted to eat. Food: we started off with the calamari salad which was such a great choice because it was super light, and fresh. The olive oil on the calamari was a great addition. I usually feel guilty eating calami because I'm used to getting the deep fried one, but this was so light and it's a definite must when you order, you won't regret it. It had a nice zest flavor as well. The pasta was very flavorful! The ground beef ragu made the meal so worth the calories. I ordered a small portion which when I received it didn't look like much, but also I was very full and couldn't quite finish. It's definitely a meal where you just want to continue to eat... dreaming of the ragu now. Ha

Food was ok and pricey for what it is. Cauliflower was quite soft (almost as if cooked from frozen...) but the sauce was good. Gnocci was also super soft and slightly potatoey and did not have a bite at all! Sauce was heavy but tasty with the bacon. The orecchiette was slightly bitter and overly oiled with the meat being way too salty. Olive oil also bitter but very olive. The service was slow as well even though they were very friendly. Overall, only ok and likely won't be back. Good vibes though if you want something intimate. They have heated outdoors and a few indoor seating.

The owners are super nice and genuinely helpful, and the whole place feels welcoming the second you walk in. The book selection is also really solid. I always end up finding something (often have to reign myself in), especially in the thriller section, but they also have classics mixed in, too, which I love. One of my favorite parts is that you can actually sit and read while having a glass of wine. The wine selection is really fun, and they have some unique varietals that you don't see everywhere, which makes it even better. I also love that they do book and wine pairings each month. It's such a cool idea and makes it feel like there's always something new to check out. You can also join their book club, which includes a new book and a paired bottle of wine. Also, you need one of their bags. Trust me. If you love books and want a cozy little place to hang out, I definitely recommend stopping in.

I liked how it was a safe haven but differentiated from a library and more upscale

Brief Summary: - Located near the BART station…read more- Unique coffee, tastes like there is noticeable fruit notes - Coffee is not sour - Interior and exterior seats available - Simple and super tasty dishes that are perfect for breakfast or brunch What I loved most about this cafe is the food dishes, so I'll start here first. When I go into a cafe, dishes usually include sandwiches, baked sweets, pancakes or waffles. But there are times when I look at the menu and I'm trying to wake up, so I want a simpler menu. Here, they have the toast with butter. Yes, this is the perfect dish for the moment that I tend to have when choosing the first meal of the day. I also love their other menu, which is the toast with a canned fish. The cafe also sells these alongside coffee beans. The toast is sliced thick with a generous smear of butter. The toast surface has a golden shine from the melted butter. Every bite has a juicy butter taste. On the side of toast is a side of a beautiful semi-boiled egg with a runny yolk -- my favorite type of way to eat yolks. Next time, when I visit here, I will definitely try the canned fish and eat that for breakfast. That is another good breakfast menu I would love to have and try with a cup of coffee.

The good: Their vanilla latte is genuinely good. Flavorful, balanced, and not overly sweet. The food is decent too. The bad: Why is a vanilla latte pushing $7 these days and still arriving nowhere near the top of the cup? When I asked about it, I was told it's just one ice cube short of the normal volume. But consistently? Maybe that's what they mean by Ain't Normal. My bigger issue is the service. Maybe I've caught them on off days, but the staff has consistently come off with a bit of attitude. Nobody needs a parade when they order coffee, but a little warmth goes a long way, especially when you're charging specialty coffee prices. At the end of the day, the coffee is good enough that I've come back more than once. I just wish the cups were fuller and the customer service matched the quality of the drinks.

We also ordered the oysters, fresh vegetables and steak frites. The produce was sourced from the Ferry farmer's market and extremely good, we ordered it twice. Not too many critiques, I loved the lowkey vibe and it was exactly what my group was looking for. Service was attentive but not overbearing or cheery, which I appreciate. One mild critique is the oysters were wonderful but pre-garnished, I prefer to season oysters myself, and I didn't think their choices elevated already good oysters, despite the aesthetic of the presentation. As others mention service charge is included, which I emphatically prefer because the last thing I want to do after treating myself to wine and oysters is contemplate the bill. We'll be back!

Positives: The food was very good, as was the attentive service. And they accept plastic payment…read more Instead of tipping, they add a 20% surcharge to cover both the front and rear of the house. Negatives: Very small venue, so reservations are a must. The menu is always in a state of flux, much of it in French (none of us are fluent), and only one lager beer on tap. On the spendy side of the spectrum. Editorial comments: First time visit, so I didn't really know what to expect, although I've had my share of trendy little restaurants. Upon arriving at the outdoor podium to check in, a young man in a paint spattered T-shirt greeted us and showed us our table. I wasn't expecting formal dinner wear, but is there such a thing as too casual? However, the food and service didn't disappoint. I don't eat mollusks or raw shellfish, but my catfish was excellent. The beer was OK. I would suggest reading the current menu prior to arriving if possible, so the ordering process isn't needlessly drawn out. Have your questions on the tips of your tongues, unless you're a regular who is familiar. Not in the greatest neighborhood, parking can be a challenge. We chose to take Lyft to and from, which turned out to be a good choice. Small. Bohemian. Uber casual-chic. Bring sun screen and a hat if you're seated outside. Background music was good, classic rock without rap or hip hop influences. Worried about being under-dressed? Don't be. You'll fit right in, and may be offered a job!

My husband and I arrived around 6pm with no reservation. They told us it would be about 30 mins and they'd text. When it had been about 45 minutes, we headed over. While we didn't get a text, they did seat us outside around the corner within a couple of minutes. It was a beautiful, sunny evening and they have outdoor heaters. The olive oil and bread are so good! Our friend recommended the stuffed beef shank pasta, the duck pasta, and the burrata pasta. Instead of ordering apps, we went ahead with the three pastas: Agnolotti Di Lidia, Bigolli Al Sugo D'Anatra, and Spaghetti Pomodoro E Burrata. We also got a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and Melissa was amazing! Can't wait to come back here to try other dishes!
