    Omnivore pizza

Took a friend from Houston here. Given that Houston has great food, I wanted to take her somewhere that had something she couldn't find in Houston. Enter delicious Detroit pizza. We grabbed a drink at the Star Bar.while we waited. Bartender was friendly and prices were very reasonable, especially for downtown. We got the omnivore and it was really good. A small was enough for us two ladies. Really love this place!

Plenty of parking in the building. We love their high quality pizza and service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was relaxed, with a few people of different age groups in quiet conversations with their awesome pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to try the chai old-fashioned as a fan of their creative holiday cocktails. It was an ethereal pleasure in cinnamon, so don't get it unless you like cinnamon! We tried the three stooges, which we were surprised to be able in Detroit squares. We loved every bit of our experience and look forward to coming back again soon.

DISCLAIMER: went to West 6th location but it's not on Yelp, so chose the closest one I grabbed a pizza on the late afternoon/early evening of October 5 after leaving Football Sunday early. Usually I don't voluntarily go to a pizza place but sometimes you really just crave a slice (or more than a couple). I'd heard of and seen this chain name on various lists so figured it was worth a shot. I was too shy to ring the bell at the pick up window & was 1/2 way through the online order when staff pulled up the screen. It was easy to order but the staff member accidentally charged me because allegedly I entered the quantity as 2, not 1. He was able to figure out how to void the wrong order but I definitely felt like it was an unfortunate misunderstanding. Ultimately though, I got the four cheese small size. It was surprisingly better than expected but nothing out of this world, hence a 3/3.5. Nina & Rafi in ATL remains my favorite Detroit style restaurant, so far.

I didn't realize Detroit pizza was something to rave about until I tried Via 313. This was my second time eating it and it was just as amazing as I remembered. I ordered the Cadillac and it was phenomenal. The prosciutto with the balsamic glaze = chef's kiss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was fast and there's always been plenty of seating when I go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Do not recommend this location - service is terrible. Called in an order and after a long activity with my family. When we arrived to pick up the pizza my niece was really hungry so we asked if we could dine in at the bar area. They said yes and we grabbed the pizzas I just paid for and tipped well and sat down. I asked for waters, plates, utensils from the bar twice nothing came then from the servers nothing happened they kept saying ok but wouldn't bring it over. Then I went back up to the bar and order drinks they finally brought plates after 20 min. I deeply regret ordering/ eating there as pizza was mid.

One of the best pizza restaurant in Austin with quick and amazing food! When walking in you will know the food will not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was giving welcoming and friendly vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was provided making overall experience great. Will be back!

This is my partner's favorite Via 313 since his college days. He no longer lives in Austin but every time we are back, we have to come here. The pizzas are so hearty and piping hot. They taste yummy even as cold leftovers. There's a bit of a wait for the pizzas so make sure to order an appetizer or keep that in mind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was solid and there's plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The booths are a bit hard but not too bad.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've been to Via 313 before, and it doesn't disappoint. I like how thick the crust and pizza is, and how it's crunchy on the outside but soft and gooey in the middle. The cheese pulls are also to die for. We got the bobo brazil, ambassador, and the monthly special which was the vodka pizza. I liked different aspects of all three of them. The hot honey from one, the marinara and ricotta from another, and the fresh basil and lighter quality of the vodka pizza. The service was solid, and there's nothing to complain about. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked how rustic the ambiance of this restaurant was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a set of stairs inside, so there's a higher up seating area, and a lower seating area, which is nice to separate the space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of my all time favorite pizza restaurants in Austin Via313 introduced me to Detroit style pizza. The focaccia style base is light and fluffy and the toppings combinations are excellent. The Cadillac with arugula is one I always have as one half. My wife loves the gluten free crust too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is always friendly and the dining room ks usually fairly busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good food Fast service, nice people, the ladies were so helpful and kind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was quiet and just opening so it went smoothly for the most part.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't want to share a picture of the bathroom BUT OMG - it was disturbing and disgusting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . It was our 1st time and if I seen the bathroom 1st I wouldn't have stayed. If management interested in photo I take it in my phone!! Or I can edit my review and add it here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Please please deep clean the bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Gordon Ramsey would've been so UPSET

As far as gluten-free is concerned, the pizza here is a legitimate game-changer -- which makes sense with all of the GF best pizza awards it's won. I believe that they use wheat starch, maintaining the delicious wheaty taste that has eluded so many celiacs for potentially years. But the GF pizza here is the real deal, completely indistinguishable from normal pizza. Crispy, saucy, filling and satisfying. They've had some promotions recently for BOGO deals, and those also definitely don't hurt. I would say that the one downside is how pricey they can get -- I have literally spent $30 on a personal sized, 4 square pizza here. I'd honestly kind of still say it's worth it as a treat, but it's out of any sort of casual rotation unless there's a promotion going on.

    Is there a parking lot?

Yes, there is a covered parking garage attached to the shopping center where Via 313 is located.

Amazing pizza! This is the BEST pizza I have ever had and was wondering if the restaurant would ship to California?

    Call and ask them.

Do they sell the GF dough to go?

Hi Liana, thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately we don't sell our dough by itself at this time. We do offer fully cooked Gluten Free pizzas to go, though!

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?
