The smash burger was great as was the Sunday brunch breakfast bowl. The staff, Grace, hostess extraordinaire, was great. Helpful and personable. Bartenders Vinny and Jesus were great, good conversation and drinks. Others working when I was there, Russell and Valeriya, and the manager Matt, all seeming to hustle and keeping the place running and I saw no complaints from other customers while there. When my friend finally ordered drinks, Tobin didn't say hello or smile, just pointed with an expression that made it seem like he didn't want to be there at all. The attitude was disappointing. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month. The other side is a gaming lounge/bar with self-pour taps, which is pretty neat. You can serve yourself beer and wine after getting a card from the front desk. Overall, it was a fun experience and worth checking out if you are looking for something different to do.
