I specifically mentioned this more than once. Yesterday early morning, I rushed my dog to a veterinary emergency room because she had ingested sago palm seeds (something I discovered after her eighth time vomiting and drooling uncontrollably). After her 48-hour care, I now have a medical bill costing $2,400. My dog, luckily, is doing well so far. If the seed in the attached picture had been deep in the ground, I would be more forgiving. But, this seed was near the top. The crew tossed some dirt and rocks over it and called it a day. And unfortunately for my dog, potentially signed her death warrant. I'll have to go out and purchase a shovel, so I can dig around to make sure nothing is left behind. I leave them with one star, because despite all of this, they were kind and easy to work with. But, I won't recommend them to anyon

I noticed that they had completely topped the tree in his front yard and I assumed that they were completely taking the tree out however, they left the trunk of the tree standing without a canopy. I went back to work before noticing them doing the same to a tree in the backyard. I stopped the workers and asked what they were doing and why? They pretended not hear me or understand my questions and continued working. I contacted the homeowner asking if he was aware that the contractor was completely topping his trees. He stated that they had been hired to clear the undergrowth however, they notified him that the tree was split down the middle and needed to be addressed. He does not live in the area and authorized them to do what was necessary to address the problem. It appears that he is being taken for a ride since the solution to a cracked limb is not to completely top the canopy of two different trees. To be clear I did not request these services however, the homeowner did not request the services that were delivered. Munoz Tree Service is taking advantage of his geographic separation from the property to perform additional unneeded work that is ultimately going to kill these trees. Furthermore, it is clear they do not have any skills or training is best practices for tree trimming as topping a trees canopy is not recommended as a technique for tree trimming. Buyer beware.

I left a message voicing my frustration of leaving so many messages, not getting a reply, and then to be hang-up on? Still no call back. I mistakenly paid him before really checking the work and later found that they missed several dead branches, including one obvious large one. There were also a few limbs growing into my neighbor's yard that they were also supposed to cut back. It's my fault for not catching this but when I texted Oscar to let him know I didn't think they had done all the work we discussed, he refused to come back. He wouldn't even come get the big dead limb that I ended up cutting down myself. I will never use him again and urge you not to use Oscar/Mejia Landscaping.

I called around 8 am and Oscar answered and was able to do the job that day! He cut the tree without leaving a large and they cleaned up afterward. I wasn't on the property for that job so after they were finished he stopped by my house for a check after showing me a picture of the job. He also fixes fences so the next day he came back with a crew and they finished replacing a fence on both sides of the house and a gate on one side. So both jobs were done right away and the prices were very reasonable. The crew worked hard and cleaned up after they left. I especially liked the hardware he put on the fence gate.
