Further update: not loving the new management for many reasons, but the biggest is parking. They allow anyone to have as many cars as they want. Previously, you could have two plus a guest pass which controlled the parking inside the gates. Now I get home from work and there are no open spots, my husband has the car port, and parking on the street results in a ticket. That's because of my neighbors who have FOUR (yes! I counted) cars refuses to park in their garage (which they are supposed to park in). Did I mention the rusted out truck that has been parked in the same exact spot for 18 months? I've alerted management to it multiple times and they keeps saying they'll "check on it" but nothing ever happens. Day after day, I pass the same truck and it makes me so angry every time I see it wasting one of our precious parking spots. So I can't park at my home and the next closest parking is the park & ride by the 60 onramp. How ridiculous is that! I can't wait to move. We will probably break our lease just to get out of here early so we can go somewhere I can actually park my car inside the gates. I pay way too much money to be getting parking tickets on the street or walk from the other end of the complex. There has to be some in between from "we won't give one day of grace even if your car is broken down" and "we will tow our car even if we know you live here" to EVERYONE GETS A CAR! Be careful, there are crooks running the place. Things were great there until we decided to move out a month before our lease was up. We started moving out over the weekend and hadn't finished by Monday. I guess management noticed we were moving out and allegedly changed the locks on us. They disputed that fact. However we sent a move out notice stating those facts. They ignored our move out letter and forged a letter in our names stating we had a family emergency and left. Also they stated we would overnight them a check for rent and fees and addresses it to Monique even though we didn't remember anyone's name in management. They've been rude and fraudulent to say the least. We've since had to hire attorneys to deal with the matter. read more

I was told by the front office that's it's because of the weather and when it's cold people break in and steal stuff ... This complex does not even have security cameras! We loved every moment we lived here. Up until move out. The manager had a scheduled meeting with us and showed up 4 hours late with little to no notice. (5 minutes count?) During her "move out" inspection she states, deep shampoo, partial paint, standard cleaning., Etc. So I'm thinking awesome, we should be fine. We receive our statement showing a balance of $899. Um, what?? Sooo they kept our $800 deposit and now want $899? Reason? They replaced the entire carpet because they said it was damaged due to POSITIVE pet stains. They retracted that quickly. Lied on a statement...isn't that a legal document? Hmmm. There were walk through stains that they were unable to get out so they replaced the ENTIRE carpet. Reason being? They can't just change one room because then the carpet won't match. If carpet was manufactured only a year prior I am absolutely positive they would have the SAME EXACT carpet to cut out and replace. $1200 to replace just carpet, not even the padding?? Also, this apartment uses flat paint ($250 to paint), so if you plan on actually living here, stay away!! So we go back and forth trying to negotiate and were able to drop our balance from $899 to $350, which sounds amazing, except that they also kept our $800. Not only that, but the mother(who also don't works for Weidner) of the Manager was trying to work it out with us. I do my research and found this out. Isn't that a conflict of interest?? Only reason we paid it was for the fact of us in the process of buying a home and were done going back and forth to not get anywhere. Stay clear, you have been WARNED! *Not naming anyone. You say you care but nothing is being done! If it were, it would be noticeable. This place is not a good place to move to! Look else where that you can enjoy your peace and know you are safe. I have been here 8+ years and it's gone down hill sooo much! There are these men who live here, they have no regard for anyone. These man are all truck drivers who use this community as a stop and wash, they come for 3 or so days, wash up and hit the road again. There are 6-8 of them living in each unit and legally there can only be 4 adults in a 2 bedroom in California but our leasing office doesn't seem to notice??? I have had to install cameras inside my unit, on the front door and in my garage because that's the point that we're at here. I have complained soooooo many times about the way they drive as well. My child and myself have almost been ran over by them and almost hit while parking because they are as damn impatient and NOTHING has been done! Our community needs to hold a community meeting because I bet you sooooo many other residents feel the same way. I actually had to call the cops the other day because a man was trying to swim naked and in his boxers after another resident yelled at him to put some clothes on because women and children were out there, security wouldn't come because they don't start until 9pm. Absolutely cannot say enough about this place. 1. I met with Lorraine, and I just died over her. She is SO down to earth and real; she would tell me her honest opinion about each unit, including pros and cons, which I really appreciated. She was so easy to have a conversation with. She seemed like she actually enjoyed what she did and understood that how she represents the apartments can affect whether we move or not. She took her time to show us the great features and details about the place. I felt like I could really bond with her. Love her! In addition to her, the other staff were unbelievably nice as well! 2. The units were UNBELIEVABLE! So gorgeous and offer so much more for their pricing. I couldn't believe how cozy and nice the units were! I didn't want to leave. 3. Only con: you don't have things like malls, restaurants, etc. very close by, however I don't mind that at all considering how comfortable and welcomed I felt here. 4. Horrible!!! Do not move here. Apartments are located in an area with high winds which will cause the apartments to turn off the power for hours and you will not receive any discount towards your rent when this happens. They provided no assistance to residents during the pandemic. Over priced for little to no space. Parking is horrible and you will be towed if you own more than 1 car and they increase rent annually. Almost impossible to get in contact with the leasing office you will always get an answering machine. read more

Made an appointment to meet with a leasing consultant over the weekend since our lease is up in the next 5 days & were looking at different places this week. We show up 15 min early to find the office closed with a be back in 45 min sign on the door. Our appointment was for 3pm , we arrived at 2:45 & waited until 3:15 outside in hopes they would open but no one ever came. I don't know where to begin with this review. I couldn't make this up even if I wanted to. I'm going to be truthful and raw on this review. No other way to say this but I've been through most ruthless experience ever when I decided to part ways with Vesada Apartments. To make matters worse at a time when folks are sick, depressed, suicidal, losing jobs, losing homes, being forced on unemployment due to the pandemic Covid-19. Weidner's leasing agents at Vesada are trained to have NO mercy during a crisis. They're going hard tacking on extra fees they feel wrongfully entitled to. My experience at first was all rainbows and unicorns. You have a leasing agent that's overly too nice, sassy, some what has a flirtatious mannerism but you know she plays the part (Monique F.) She tells you what you need to hear not what you need to know like a used car sales person. My advice to anyone that has no experience renting, you must document everything! Take photos, video record your move in. Know that you're responsible for the outcome of your own experience the moment you sign. Know that you may never see your deposit back. Every inch of that unit counts against you. Starting from the floor and up. (corners, cracks, window sills, get everything in writing, no phone calls, etc.) Make sure you have a leasing agent present for move-in and move out inspections. Demand it because it's your right as a tenant to have an agent present and have a witness to document the condition of it seen the same as you do. It may help you fight for your hard earned money back. The leasing agents will attempt to use anything against you. You must protect yourself from being scammed. The agent has one goal the moment you turn over your keys, that's to make your life a living hell! They truly don't hope you have a smooth experience after moving out lol! Monique's main goal is to threaten until you give up and have to pay or else Weidner will ruin your credit if you don't play along with their rules. These leasing agents plagiarize invoices, send fake photos to build up phony evidences of other previous residence units that may have satisfied the requirements. Monique preys on the innocent... It's disgusting, dishonest and quite offending especially when you know you've done everything management asks on their exit requirements. Cooperate needs to evaluate the actions of their front face people. And Weidner must evaluate the their moral! Consider cleaning house in that office because shit gets old, scamming innocent people for a living by the same employees over and over again. How many reviews does it take to realize that the same person's name on on this review feed is a problem to your establishment. How are you okay with this? Folks take a good look, walk around the community when you visit. Notice the plants, grass and parking lots are filled with trash. Test out the fitness room equipment. None of it ever works properly and shuts off mid way into your workout. Notice the hillside has dried out weeds, it's a fire hazard. Look up how many accidents have happened in front of this community on Country Village Rd. What has Vesada done for the people that come in and out of this dangerous road to help the safety of their residences. read more

Make sure you read the fine print when signing your lease. Just moved out and they hold tenants responsible for new paint and carpet cleaning for the next tenant. Pretty disappointed with that considering the fiasco I went through when we initially moved in. Our 3 br unit wasn't available because of a termite infestation so our move in date kept getting pushed back until finally a two bedroom opened up. Didn't start off great but we did enjoy our stay. Except for the parking! That situation needs some fixing asap. Towards the end of our lease I was parking in handicapped spots because I refused to make my little boy walk clear across the complex with me in the dark. For the simple " I enjoyed my time at Vesada and would recommend, BUT do your research." For those who are extra join me as I dissect my year there 1st Vesada - Staff is great. Breeanna and her team are professional and handle their stuff. Every now and then they host events and even have a taco man once a month which is very nice. 2nd The Area - The apartments are nice, but the area has a very long way to go. You're essentially moving to South Fontana/Mira Loma which isn't the safest. There is a local mexican market but as for staters, vons, target really ANY store 10 min drive minimum. We used to use instacart alot and did lots of deliveries to compensate for this. While staying there my company van was broken into, my vehicles were not. Don't be an idiot crime happens EVERYWHERE we did plenty of research prior to moving to Vesada and I can assure you the break ins happen at even the more expensive communities. There are crappy people everywhere, and since apartments house hundreds of families, it makes it easier to find crap to steal there. What makes Vesada "safer" is that if you look at a map north of the apartments is several hundred Feet of land before you hit residential and to the south you have nearly a mile before you hit businesses. Which means people don't really have a reason to be at or around Vesada if they dont live there. The only nearby community is across the street and it is a retirement home. There are gates to cover the front of Vesada but you can go around those on the hill. COYOTES you will get used to seeing them. Saw them many nights coming home and you would hear the cries if they caught a stray animal. Once again RESEARCH THE AREA. The winds are absolutely terrible, which causes large amounts of dust. We would dust 2x a week and it wouldn't be enough. This area gets Santa Ana winds which are very dry, once again RESEARCH THE AREA. Lots of spiders I recommend buying professional spray like Talstar to put up a barrier to keep the bugs out. 3rd The tenants while we lived there - There are alot of families in the community, there are some older very friendly people as well. When my van got broken into the neighbors kept an eye out for us and so did others in the community. There were several domestic violence issues during my lease but once again you have hundreds of families living in an area you may be living next to a guy who is a P.O.S. We had a shared wall in our bedroom first 8 months were great last 4 were terrible. They were ridiculously loud and they would fist fight and the girl would throw his stuff into the parking lot. All you can do is let the office know once it becomes a consistent problem they will help. You gotta do your part and report it. What I didn't like - Water, trash is split equally among the residents and it is not cheap. So if you live alone expect the same bill as if you lived with 10 people. There are several tenants on the property living with multiple families in the units. This does not help keeping the bill down. the winds, the spiders, the coyotes, not being nearby stores. Moving out was ridiculously expensive Vesada inspector tried to nickel and dime everything NOT the day to day staff this was like a manager who only did move out inspections. Vesada can't control what people do. At the end of the day you and the other tenants living there are responsible for keeping it safe. If you hear something SAY something. Finally! - Staff was great, apartments are nice. I would say its definitely worth a look. read more

I have never had any problems with the customer service from the front desk just a little attitude from the young girl who is not meant for customer service. So the truth. They get 2 stars. The apartment itself is nice, liked the fireplace and location. At first. It wasnt very clean when we moved in and our microwave was cracked. I had property ruined here, obnoxious neighbors, and to top it all off office employees who DO NOT CARE about their jobs. At move in we noticed they pulled a Houdini, after they could only be seen "on their way out". We did not complete our lease but remained current and paid to break our lease, once we did the nightmare began. Move out was easy (we thought), we had plenty of time and even professionally cleaned it because as stated it was kind of dirty on arrival (they noted it too). We turn in our keys on schedule. They tell us as usual they are busy but they will call us of any issues. A week goes by nothing. Then boom. A voicemail threatening me with collections if i don't pay my balance in full. Balance??....im confused. A new email pops up following the call and it showed an unexpected debt to them of $1500. But how? I did everything right. The email showed their charged amounts etc. I get charged on move out for full cleaning and everything noted as being deficient on move in to include paint nicks noted. Then i look at the dates they had services performed. The dates are prior to their documented first inspection of our move out. To top it off i then try to dispute only to get avoided and hung up on repeatedly by staff. Then Breeanna Lobo calls and sets a meeting. I think great finally we can get this resolved. We meet and she would not attempt to resolve anything. I made a statement about this feeling like a scam and she very loudly kicked me out of her office and told me to leave and threatened me with sending the full amount to collections that day. Unfortunately it looks like we will need to seek legal action to get any resolution. Please i know this was long but hede my warning they are just as i said they are A SCAM with a pretty facade. read more

Me and my fiancé lived there for almost two years until we had to break our lease due to his job. I hadn't had any negative things to say about this complex until move out. According to Monique they are supposed to give a list of what's expected and supposed to be cleaned prior to move out as well as a walk through and a couple days before move out I received nothing and I had to reach out to them on my own as a reminder. They do anything they can to make sure you don't receive your deposit back and make sure that you leave owing money. The apartment was well taken care of and far from dirty as I mentioned I only lived there less than two years. Our balance was sent to collections a month after move out and the amount was higher than what was on our move-out statement. This has become such a hassle. staff was very unprofessional and showed no type of courteousness towards their residents. read more

This place is going downhill fast. It seems as if the office is just renting out apartments to anyone who they feel will pay their rent on time. People who don't even live in the apartments always are in the pool with "outside clothing" on! I once saw a guy a month ago get into the jacuzzi with jean shorts and a tank top! Also there have been break ins throughout the complex, but the office does not send out letters letting the residents know what is going on. A freaking AC unit was stolen for Christ's sake. The parking sucks, I'm so glad I have a garage, but I feel for the people who have to plan their days according to how parking is. If I were you I'd stay away. Its sad but I avoided this rating/comment and pics for over a month now but I just feel like the ratings and comments are not so true for every resident experience, and I thought I would have been offered something to make up for all this, but still dealing with unresolved issues while im still a paying tenant, so I just have to share the good and the bad after all, could have been avoided, allowed 7 weeks to make things right, but guess not. So I have lived here almost 3 years and have been in 3 different units. First 2 (studio and a 1 bedroom) were amazing, no issues, clean and was very impressed and worth the extra money you pay for "luxury apartments" (all under previous management company) However this last move has been nothing but a nightmare!! The only positive out of the disgusting, dirty, nasty, not cleaned, not painted apartment I moved into was the manager was quick to address my concerns on Monday, though I was still forced to move into the horrible unit on a Saturday and had to live in the filth and horrible smell all weekend, and was unable to unpack for almost a week. (I was given no alternative nor did anyone think it was of high concern to address the day i was suppose to move in, and mind you I was a transfer so in no hurry to move!) Instead I had to wait until that Monday and management did change the disgusting carpet after all my items were in the apartment (carpenters damaged my furniture because they were upset they had to move furniture, not gonna mention the attitude and rude comments i had to hear in Spanish too) I was offered a cleaning crew to come in that Tuesday but they were not allowed to clean anything beyond the disgusting food in the stove and freezer thanks to the maintenance guy here on site (thanks). Maintenance cleaned 1 thing, aside from that in the end had to clean everything myself (see pics below) Have come across even more issues but no point in bringing this up to maintenance as I feel like i am an annoyance now, like it was my fault everyone else dropped the ball and i have had to deal with all the headache, backbreaking cleaning and days of work missed due to all this, when in over 2 years i had only put in maybe 3 maintenance request prior to this unit. At no time was I offered a hold on moving, "let us delay your move in until this unit is up to our standards", "we will cover your cancellation fee for movers to do so", a different unit perhaps or any compensation other than what I had to ask for after being so upset. I think when you see the pics below anyone can agree I should have been offered a hell of alot more, and more effort in fixing the huge ball this complex dropped...this is far from "luxury apartment living" if you ask me....and I have to pay for all this?! so disappointed for where I live and what I pay...there are so many more pics but no point in showing more than what you have seen already. Maybe if management would allow walk troughs days before move in this could have been fixed or avoided. Or just have more pride and care in your work, would any of the Vesada team have wanted to move in and live in this unit and pay as much as I am? I think that answer would be NO. I had nothing but high reviews and great experiences (even with not so suitable parking situations) until now, my whole opinion of this place has changed...office team was always nice and friendly but all I got was "Im sorry" when I had to deal with all this and a whole lot more, was offered a 3 day comp and that was it from the office team, if I would not have lost out on mover fees I would have never moved!! If someone cared they could have prevented all this that very morning before my movers even arrived but they didnt....very disappointing because I had no prior issue with the office team and they were so helpful prior to all this so I dont know what happened or what changed in anyone thinking this unit was acceptable to have someone move into... read more

I have lived here almost a year and living at Vesada has a surplus of good things. For starters, it is very well kept and clean. Landscaping throughout the complex is beautiful. I enjoy the quietness and feeling safe at anytime of the day well into the night. Their amenities are complete with a pool, jacuzzi, gym, barbeque area, club house and a small park for the kids. Things you'd expect from nice quality living. The entire working team at Vesada is great and customer service from all of them is tops. My wife and I have always been greeted with a smile and a hand wave by the guys as they drive their golf carts throughout the property. Same goes for the girls in the office, the moment you walk in you feel very welcomed and cared for. Any issues are always handled promptly and professionally. We enjoy the vendors that come out at small events planned by Lorraine, the manager here. We've had shaved ice, tacos, funnel cakes and so on. It's great! Our apartment is very nice and we are proud to call it home. All appliances, including washer and dryer are ready for you to use. Absolutely love the high ceilings and big kitchen. Our neighbors are kind and friendly. We like how the apartments are right of the 60 freeway and just a few miles from the 15fwy. Parking is a little tricky at night, I think it may be because residents don't always use their garages for parking their vehicles. We also have a security company who comes in and out of the property at night. That's always good to have. To be honest the only minor complaint is that we have to travel for shopping and dinning. Other than that, till this day, we are happy and all is well. My wife and I definitely recommend Vesada apartments! read more

I have been meaning to leave a review for Vesada. We leased here for a year and moved out a few months ago. My experience here was not good, my car got broken into TWICE within a month and my husbands the same night as one of my incidents. I spoke with various people from the office and even the "higher ups" but none seemed to take into consideration getting either more security or cameras for their lots to reduce break ins. Their excuse was "invasion of privacy" but they sure did not mind when my privacy was invaded with broken car windows. My last few months were when everything was starting to get shut down therefore the amenities were prohibited from using, i would think the rent would go down with such things that we are paying for cannot be used. But nope. Lastly they took our whole security deposit and some once we left. We left the place in good condition and still had to owe them. They wanted to raise our rent 100 more to rent another year. Greedy greedy! I would NOT recommend throwing money away here. They don't look out for their community's interest other than their own. read more

Second meeting was just as bad as they first. WORST APARTMENTS AROUND. they will get you in a trap. Completely unworkable and will not discuss charges. Does not do a walk through upon move out with residents so therefore you are left to pay whatever the bill says. Now being sent to collections because Breeanna Lobo refused to dispute charges with me. Thanks Management. First review: Just moved out after a 5 months. My stay was less than safe or what is advertised on the website. Not only was my property damaged within 1 week of moving in. The security here isnt even real. Our neighbors had to deal with multiple homeless life coming into the complex and harassing them with public indecency. Cars were broken into night after night while theft occurred. The office workers can never be found. I told Monique I would be there in 5mins to discuss billing and she closed her office for 2 hours before I could get there. The office is supposedly open 10am-6pm. But I never see it open. Not only is rent high but the water and trash charges rediculous. We had a 3 bedroom 2 bath. 2 adults and 2 under 7 year olds (they come every other weekend) and our water bill was prorated for 4 people. Alost or over $1000 a month. The office workers always have an excuse as to why the bill is that high and everyones is that high, supposidly. Now that i moved out Monique is not the nice respectable office worker said in these reviews. I questioned her about my move out charges and she began to be irrate and hung up on me twice. The entire time we have lived here they have been fast if anything was wrong in the apartment but the ac was just a bunch of bad luck if you will . I am just so glad we have it working now and it's no longer dripping water . She did do everything she could to try and make us comfortable .
