    Let me start with the positive. Brooke who works in the office has very good people skills and she is awesome. Residents respect her, she should be the manager! My neighbors are cool!!!! The bad: a. management b. trash fee from 25 dollars to now 51, in the middle of a lease. c. lack of communication from management. d. THEFT! Management does not care about the residents and several residents here are very unhappy. We have a portal in which we can post any concerns or problems, but management has to approve your post, but they block majority of the postings. When I signed my lease in August, I was told, there is a monthly trash FEE OF 25 dollars, as your trash is picked up at your door. In the last two months, the fee has raised to 51 dollars. No notice, no communication and please see attachments! Nov Bill and lease. On Jan 3rd, 8:38 PM while unloading groceries from my car, I had two low life's go into my car and steal several items. While walking back to my garage to lock my car, the two low life's passed me, so we crossed paths. They stole several items and i informed Rose on Sat and asked her to please look at the cameras and let me know what you see. I never heard back from her. Glad she cares!!! Then a week later, I made a post on the community wall in regards to locking your garage and I gave a description of the thief's. My post was blocked and when I went into the office the next day to speak to the (manager-Theresa) on why the post was blocked? She stated the post was too negative. AKA- We will scare residents. I then asked why I NEVER received, a call back in regards to the cameras, manager acted like she was the first to hear about my items stolen. I gave her the and time, and asked her to look at the cameras, please let me know what you see. She said she will, never heard from her since!! Sad that management shows no sympathy and doesnt care, or maybe lazy? I understand thefts happen in rental apartment sites, but management show at least you care for your residents. Btw, several of my neighbors had items stolen from their garages over several weeks. I expect now some charge or my deposit will be gone when i move out, but then again, there is whistle blowing laws.

    This is my second time living here. It's my all time favorite place to live. Quiet and great amenities. Staff always does things for the tenants which makes it feel more at home. Builds are quiet and haven't ever had a noise problem. Homes are very sound proof.

    I lived here for only about a month now and I'm already starting to regret my year long lease. I've submitted for a maintenance request pretty much on my move in date and a month later no body has stopped by and addressed it. I've submitted another request complaining about my initial request not being taken care off and still no reply. My TV shuts off every hour or so because there's something wrong with the outlasts and power in general in my apartment so the only thing I can do is go to the main power box located in my bedroom and flip the switch every time it goes down. There's a community website that tenants use in order to communicate and address issues with the management and every time I've wrote something on that wall my post would never get approved. I've talked with somebody from leasing about it and they said that the only posts that don't get approved are the ones using offensive language so to this day I have no idea why are they not approving mine. No offensive language here just pointing out the things I am writing about in this review. Once you move in here you are obligated to pay for monthly valet trash services, which would be fine if the trash actually gets picked up when scheduled. Even on the days that the trash is suppose to be picked up (Sunday-Thursday) mine often isn't. Also, if somebody else puts larger trash items out and the valet collects them, the extra billing get's divided to all the tenants which means ALL TENTS PAY FOR OTHER TENANTS GARBAGE DISPOSAL... ridicules, right? In the month that we've been here there have been two burglaries that we know off and each of them involved tenants cars and garages. There are no cameras on site nor in the hallways leading to the garages so basically anybody can help themselves to your stuff as long as they can pick a lock (refer to YouTube and learn how do to it in minutes). Since we moved in we've tried to complain about our neighbors above us. They have a large dog (which is completely fine! This is a pet friendly community and we ourselves own a huge husky) that they leave alone for hours locked out on their balcony. This poor thing barks and scratches the floor for hours. I've called security and nothing. I've called the after hours emergency line provided by management and that line is actually disconnected (so much for that...). This happens almost everyday and I cannot stand listening to this poor animal any longer. I've postponed calling animal services for weeks now because I don't want them coming in and breaking their front doors down but soon this dog will figure out how to jump over that balcony fence and this is when it will be too late. And lastly, when we moved in we received an invite to leave a review about the apartment complex on their website and if I'm not mistaken on their listing on apartments.com. As it appears they offer 5$ gift cards for your reviews which first need to be approve by management (as you can imagine, mine did not pass the test). They are buying their 5 star rating by offering these types of incentives. I am not saying that there are no people who are satisfied living here, I am sure there are, but offering money for positive reviews isn't the way. And there you go...I myself work in the property management industry and I know how hard it can be dealing with costumers but I have never in my career not responded to a maintenance issue within the week of the request; I have never in my career gave a false phone number to a customer when they asked for one in case of an emergency. *UPDATE* Still supper disappointed about the whole experience. I called, I emailed, I stopped by the office and Rose is nowhere to be found.No body knows what allocated trash services stand for and why are they so high this month. Apparently one of the neighbors dumped a couch and waste management needed to be called to remove it.So you are telling me that couch removal cost was $1,700 which was then divided by 100 apartments within the community which is how you came to the sum of $17 per household.

    Absolutely gorgeous place to live. Brand new. Staff very helpful. Updated technology. Won't be disappointed.

The staff tried to steal parts of my security deposit. They will charge you $10-$50 extra for cleaning fees on what they say you're charged in hopes you don't look at the receipt from the vendor they used. I caught them doing this 4 times and they never explained why they did that or apologized. The staff is beyond rude, lazy, and will ignore any request you have. Our car almost got stolen from here. There's break ins weekly. Glass from car windows get shattered and they never come and clean it up. And the apartments have a bug problem. Avoid this place at all costs.

The only issue I had was during the transition of the community app to schedule for maintenance or pay for rent, the new portal had to confirm my bank account and it took a few days for it to verify. On the posting by Afton, it says because of the transition, residents have ten days to pay the rent for the upcoming month. I paid my rent on the 5th which was before the month and they still charged me a late fee! Luckily, after back and forth emailing, the manager was able to waive the late fee which required signatures. So far, Afton has done a lot of positive changes such as fix some of the broken and cracked sidewalks that were not level and a hazard to navigate around. The maintenance crew is great! They are quick to respond to most issues unless it's like a water heater issue which obviously is not a quick job to do.

And the office lobby always has snacks and drinks to come grab while they are open. I'm all about quiet! Especially as much as I work and always on the go. I prioritize my sleep. So I love my 3rd floor unit. 3rd floor is always quietest. I got PTSD from my last apartment living on the 1st floor. When it comes to apartment living it really does depend on who your neighbors are, above and below and next door. I have the fortune of living next to people that are quiet and low key. I visited one of my friend's apartment last night in a different building. She has a two bedroom and I was like dang. Super nice. Made me a little envious haha. I have a one bedroom and it's perfect size for me and my dogs (2 Malitpoos) but her two bedroom was legit. Her rent is obviously more expensive than mine but still reasonable for the amount of space and how nice it is. The only drawback here is that there is not a lot of guest parking here. Very limited parking if you have guests over that stay the night. But this is a very fair priced complex with great amenities and services. They do pick up your trash from in front of your porch most nights of the week. And they also have ring cams that come with every unit free of charge! Super great for security and if you get a lot of packages delivered and any end up missing. Can always check the camera. But I haven't heard of any packages ever going missing since I've lived here. The people that live here at The Crossings are cool, chill and mind their business. I've gotten to know a good amount of my neighbors and they are the best people. We get together and have dinners at the pool, roast s'more's in front of the fireplace and talk for hours, chill in the jacuzzi, or hang in the dog park with all our dogs. Issues will also only get resolved, depending on who you speak to at the office. It's also sometimes really difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Jacuzzi is constantly broken, and they swear that the pool is heated, but it is freezing even in 95° weather. People are always smoking, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking property. I've seen residents jumping the gate instead of using their pool... Just things like that, but I feel really cheapen the overall experience of living here. The property itself is beautiful and the amenities are great, especially the huge dog park and the complimentary drinks and snacks you can get from the office during business hours. Also, their gym is the nicest gym I've ever seen at any complex. They also do fun little things like free smores kits during the winter. The best part of living here for sure is the modern property and the people that live here!

You can tell she truly cares about the residents and the community. Rosa and Jordin were also amazing to work with. They were friendly, patient, and very helpful during the move-in process. They made sure everything was clear and that I felt comfortable every step of the way. Both of them went above and beyond to make my move-in experience a positive one, and I'm really grateful for their help. I told him my situation and he graciously told me he'd come to help me. I feel he went Above and Beyond his duties. This was not an apartment emergency at all. I've had issues since I have moved in. Closet sliding doors are very sensitive and constantly needing to be put in place. The balcony's screen door always falls off when I move it. The apartment is outdated. There is a wall heater in the Livingroom that I never turned on because I'm afraid to catch the place on fire. The wall AC needs to be on all day in order to cool the entire apartment. All the doors get stuck because fresh paint is being painted over old paint. We constantly have to pull on the doors to open and shut them- it shakes the whole building. No upgrades have been done since I have lived there. Homeless people go through the garbage bins throughout the day. They know when the office goes to lunch and when they close for the day to enter the apartments. I have gotten my car broken into, luckily, I didn't have anything worth stealing, but they did take my phone chargers. Right now, what I am dealing with is homeless breaking into the small storage in my car portal and stealing things I leave in that area. They've came 3 times in less than 2 weeks to go through my things and leave the mess for me to clean. I made police report but apparently no one can do anything. Sadly, after speaking to other residents, they have also dealt with homeless stealing their belongings from their storage. The break-ins are happening during the day. (Management is aware of all this.) They hired a security guard a couple months ago (hes only here at night). I have seen him walking around a couple of times and it's not the same person all the time. ( I tend to wash my clothes at night, so I see the person.) There are 8 washers and 8 dyers, not enough for everyone who lives there. The washers and dryers are very small. My family of 4 can use up to 5 washers. I wash weekly.$$ Washers are $2.25 and dryers are $2.50 - most of the time there is a washer or a dyer out of service. Don't get fooled by the landscape!! It looks nice and beautiful but with all these issues it's not worth it. You can find somewhere else for a reasonable price with better amenities. I know a lot of residents are moving out because of all these issues. I paid $2,125 not including water or trash in 2024 (can't remember how much water or trash I paid at that time) for a 2 bedroom and 2 bath. I renewed my lease only because I wasn't in the best situation to move out. My rent went up in 2025 - to $2,253 + $6 pest control + $35 water + $30 trash = $2,334. I received my renewal letter and if I sign for another year the price would be $2,366 + $6pest control + $35 water + $30 trash I would be paying $2,437 - These apartments are not worth that.. for $50 more I can live at the Corona pointe resort apartment and enjoy their amenities for a 2 bedroom 1 bath.

When we first toured with Deja, everything went really well. She explained everything clearly, and the application process was super easy since it's all online. The property has a lot of amenities my girlfriend and I actually use. Maintenance usually gets things done within the week, which has been solid. The apartment itself has nicer finishes compared to a lot of other places we saw. The maintenance team is always friendly, and housekeeping is always roaming the property keeping things clean. Definitely wanted to shout them out! To be real, there were some miscommunication issues earlier on that caused frustration, and my older reviews reflected that. But since Amber reached out to me directly, she' kindly explained everything I brought up and was been quick to help. The front desk staff Renee, Tatiana, and Makayla, have also always been kind and helpful anytime I stop by. I also appreciate the monthly community events our complex hosts! We had Cinco de Mayo drinks and tacos, a comedy night, paint and sips, and a thanksgiving meal to look forward to at the end of this month! Overall, for the price I feel like you get a secure community with good amenities, and they've been great about allowing my fur child to live here comfortably. Although, I think we can agree that the hot tub could be hotter! If things keep going the way they are now, I can see myself staying for another lease or longer.

Good luck if you have more than one vehicle you'll be paying an additional $100 a month just to par - homeless people in the trash at all times - they will tow your car even if it's registered - "non-smoking property" but the entire place smells like weed and dog piss After a couple weeks, there were so many issues and concerns that are not being addressed: The smell of dog urine on the property is overwhelming. As someone else stated, there's not a designated relief space for pets so there's pee/poop all over the place and tenants do not pickup after their animals whatsoever. Trash vestibules on the weekends are disgusting. Residents throw their bags by the door, and don't bother putting them into the bins. There's always homeless people going through the bins, they've changed the passcode to access the trash area but it doesn't matter because the locks are broken. There's roaches EVERYWHERE. Inside and outside our unit. Upon move in, there were dead roaches in our stove and when we complained, the response we got was "at least they're dead!" As if that made it any better. A month into our lease the washer in our unit went out and our apartment flooded. Luckily maintenance is great and they came immediately to repair and clean up. Parking is a nightmare. People are always parked in front of the garages for deliveries and you have to wait for them to move to access your space. We have two vehicles and our car has been towed by parking patrol even though both vehicles are registered to the property but there's been instances we need to park one car offsite and the other in our assigned space because of lack of parking and have been towed. People speed through the parking lots, cars are being broken into constantly. The last month we lived here our elderly neighbors home was broken into. When reaching out to neighbors through the community bulletin for information on her behalf, my post was denied. Assuming they didn't want residents knowing about the break-in. Honestly, nothing about this place is "luxury" especially for the cost.
