After looking for 6 months for any available apt we happen to have called one day and finally were met with an availability that fit our needs. Brooke from the office was and has still been the sweetest one there. my husband and I had high expectations because of her and they have still been met. OMG, the maintenance staff is AMAZING! Always smiling and always saying hello. The staff helps with urgency in their steps. Steven M, Steven L, Jose P & Martha B! I hope they never leave. Martha can always be found cleaning the property in a great mood and she needs to spill her cleaning tips (jealous). The men are each easy to speak to, knowledgeable and friendly. I never see them with poor attitudes and with the current heat that says a lot about them :) These guys are hard workers. In the end, I'll stay here for as long as I can! read more

Not being loud or annoying. My husband went to work. I went to get more water from our place. While I was gone 2 women from the office started questioning them. Other people were out there by now. Asking if they lived here. And asking who was in the group. They told my son only 2 guests per apartment? But they didnt ask anyone elses groups. Then started asking a group of teens minding their own business who they where. And needed a adult to come out so they could be sure they lived there. Really? My experience at Terrano was wonderful. Thanks to the excellent manager, Theresa, who runs this apartment community so well. Also Melissa, who was always there to help us with anything we needed. If something in your apartment needs fixing, they take care of it right away. Everyone here is very kind and helpful. I lived here for 13 months and they were very beautiful months. I looked at more than 10 different apartment communities before choosing mine, and Terrano was definitely the best choice. I had to move because of changes in my life, but now that my mom will be moving to California, Terrano will be her first option. When I said goodbye to my apartment, it was actually a painful goodbye, because here they made me feel warmth, like home and family. read more

This management is extremely concerning. There was blood in the elevator, elevator walls and in the hallways of the complex. When I asked management about the issue and concerns, the management blew me off and would not answer my questions. I saw the police then next day investigating. Management would not release a report nor notify the residents of safety concerns. In addition, the apartment gym water is contaminated - the filter hasn't been changed in years! As an update: Greystar who owns Terrano has been badgering me regarding fees as they said they needed to replace the carpets and paint the entire apartment. Today I talked to the 4th person to get this settled as the apartment was left in great condition and did not require the carpets to be replaced nor did the entire apartment need to be repainted. I asked many times for photo evidence that anything beyond "normal wear and tear" was present for the paint and carpets. Today I was told that "wear and tear" doesn't have a legal definition meaning that Greystar can make up whatever it wants regarding this. I told them I would not be paying the remainder so we will see what comes of it but this is about the least professional way to handle this. If you are going to have something in your contract then you need to be able to define what it is or it's completely moot. I wouldn't recommend anyone live in a Greystar community if this is how they handle their business. read more

My wife and I chose this apartment complex due to the luxurious look and nice amenities it offered. New construction, Non-Smoking, Pool, Gym, etc. This is all smoke and mirrors. The main reason my wife and I signed the lease here and broke our last lease early (and paid an early termination fee) was because we had issues with neighbors in our last complex constantly smoking Marijuana and cigarettes. The Non-Smoking aspect of this complex played a MAJOR role in our decision. This policy has been a joke. We have people smoking cigarettes all over the complex and our neighbor smokes weed in her unit. I dont know what kind of cheap insulation they used during construction, but our whole apartment reeks every night of weed and we're forced to open windows. This wouldnt be so bad, but there is almost always someone on a balcony near us smoking cigarettes. Double whammy. My wife is pregnant and we email the leasing office constantly and we rarely even get a response, but its nothing more than a sorry we can't do anything. WE SIGNED A LEASE THAT SAYS NO SMOKING! ENFORCE YOUR RULES TERRANO! Also, as others have stated, power goes out all the time. Corona water and power is an absolute joke. We've lost hundreds of dollars in groceries over this year of our lease. Please, I urge you to reconsider living here. It's been a nightmare for my wife and I and also for a lot of the other residents. A lot of us are constantly bringing up the complaints in the resident portal and it falls upon deaf ears or management removes our comments. I moved in here in November of 23, and have had nothing but good experiences with the office and maintenance. The management is awesome, and I appreciate the members of the office, and maintenance crew, Steven and Daniel, responded to a faulty beeping of our fire alarm, which buzzed every thirty seconds so loudly; they came and fixed it within seconds literally, in the same hour I notified them of the problem. Let me start with the positive. Brooke who works in the office has very good people skills and she is awesome. Residents respect her, she should be the manager! My neighbors are cool!!!! The bad: a. management b. trash fee from 25 dollars to now 51, in the middle of a lease. c. lack of communication from management. d. THEFT! Management does not care about the residents and several residents here are very unhappy. We have a portal in which we can post any concerns or problems, but management has to approve your post, but they block majority of the postings. When I signed my lease in August, I was told, there is a monthly trash FEE OF 25 dollars, as your trash is picked up at your door. In the last two months, the fee has raised to 51 dollars. No notice, no communication and please see attachments! Nov Bill and lease. On Jan 3rd, 8:38 PM while unloading groceries from my car, I had two low life's go into my car and steal several items. While walking back to my garage to lock my car, the two low life's passed me, so we crossed paths. They stole several items and i informed Rose on Sat and asked her to please look at the cameras and let me know what you see. I never heard back from her. Glad she cares!!! Then a week later, I made a post on the community wall in regards to locking your garage and I gave a description of the thief's. My post was blocked and when I went into the office the next day to speak to the (manager-Theresa) on why the post was blocked? She stated the post was too negative. AKA- We will scare residents. I then asked why I NEVER received, a call back in regards to the cameras, manager acted like she was the first to hear about my items stolen. I gave her the and time, and asked her to look at the cameras, please let me know what you see. She said she will, never heard from her since!! Sad that management shows no sympathy and doesnt care, or maybe lazy? I understand thefts happen in rental apartment sites, but management show at least you care for your residents. Btw, several of my neighbors had items stolen from their garages over several weeks. The staff does not answer phone calls or emails AT ALL, this is not an exaggeration. They owe me $250 which was supposed to be refunded and they have ignored me completely for a month now. I have filed a report with Greystar to get this issue resolved and will escalate to other authorities if necessary. read more

We just recently moved in and the staff has been exceptional. My partner and I have lived beach-side for the last 6 years and the transition inland has been surprisingly pleasant, thanks to the team here. Huge recognition to Brooke in leasing and Steven (might be Stephen) in property maintenance for being responsive and friendly. Both took time to answer questions, showed concern when we had issues with gate codes and just made this transition an enjoyable one. Steven was quick to addresses the unit services requests and did it with the upmost conscientiousness with covid PPE, me working from home while the maintenance took place and to our service dog. Well I have read a lot about these apartments and they may look good, but remember the majority of these types of buildings when they build them, are never built with tenants in mind, only "Money", that's what pays the developers that's what pays the investors! Apartments will always have noisy tenants and those who smoke, so be aware of this fact. Apartments do not have much privacy, remember its a "Small City" of people with only a few that run it and that's part of the big problem not enough to help and tenants won't get that quicker response. About the "Weed smokers" it will only get worse because Corona is opening up a lot of those types of shops. Even the apartments that are exclusive still have these types of problems too! This is what new tenants can do: When a prospective tenant does their initial walk-thru, they should check everything out as much as possible of course, flooring for stains, walls for marks, just like moving into a "Home" the same principals are important. Take cell phone pics of your new place because when its time for you to move, you want all of your deposit back, right? To help levitate some of the problems, maintenance should "Pre-check" the apartments appliances, check the bathroom faucets and toilets that they are working and the heating and AC. Make sure the apt is ready! Leasing Agent should be checking too! Every problem has a solution, if everyone does their part there will be less feed back more positive reviews, less headaches! Remember, apartments have never changed for the better, there still apartment living and not at its best! I lived here for only about a month now and I'm already starting to regret my year long lease. I've submitted for a maintenance request pretty much on my move in date and a month later no body has stopped by and addressed it. I've submitted another request complaining about my initial request not being taken care off and still no reply. My TV shuts off every hour or so because there's something wrong with the outlasts and power in general in my apartment so the only thing I can do is go to the main power box located in my bedroom and flip the switch every time it goes down. There's a community website that tenants use in order to communicate and address issues with the management and every time I've wrote something on that wall my post would never get approved. I've talked with somebody from leasing about it and they said that the only posts that don't get approved are the ones using offensive language so to this day I have no idea why are they not approving mine. No offensive language here just pointing out the things I am writing about in this review. Once you move in here you are obligated to pay for monthly valet trash services, which would be fine if the trash actually gets picked up when scheduled. Even on the days that the trash is suppose to be picked up (Sunday-Thursday) mine often isn't. Also, if somebody else puts larger trash items out and the valet collects them, the extra billing get's divided to all the tenants which means ALL TENTS PAY FOR OTHER TENANTS GARBAGE DISPOSAL... ridicules, right? In the month that we've been here there have been two burglaries that we know off and each of them involved tenants cars and garages. There are no cameras on site nor in the hallways leading to the garages so basically anybody can help themselves to your stuff as long as they can pick a lock (refer to YouTube and learn how do to it in minutes). Since we moved in we've tried to complain about our neighbors above us. They have a large dog (which is completely fine! This is a pet friendly community and we ourselves own a huge husky) that they leave alone for hours locked out on their balcony. This poor thing barks and scratches the floor for hours. I've called security and nothing. I've called the after hours emergency line provided by management and that line is actually disconnected (so much for that...). This happens almost everyday and I cannot stand listening to this poor animal any longer. I've postponed calling animal services for weeks now because I don't want them coming in and breaking their front doors down but soon this dog will figure out how to jump over that balcony fence and this is when it will be too late. And lastly, when we moved in we received an invite to leave a review about the apartment complex on their website and if I'm not mistaken on their listing on apartments.com. As it appears they offer 5$ gift cards for your reviews which first need to be approve by management (as you can imagine, mine did not pass the test). They are buying their 5 star rating by offering these types of incentives. I am not saying that there are no people who are satisfied living here, I am sure there are, but offering money for positive reviews isn't the way. And there you go...I myself work in the property management industry and I know how hard it can be dealing with costumers but I have never in my career not responded to a maintenance issue within the week of the request; I have never in my career gave a false phone number to a customer when they asked for one in case of an emergency. *UPDATE* Still supper disappointed about the whole experience. I called, I emailed, I stopped by the office and Rose is nowhere to be found.No body knows what allocated trash services stand for and why are they so high this month. Apparently one of the neighbors dumped a couch and waste management needed to be called to remove it.So you are telling me that couch removal cost was $1,700 which was then divided by 100 apartments within the community which is how you came to the sum of $17 per household. read more

You have to park on the street and people's cars were broken into, our car was hit and ran. Being so close to the freeway has it's obvious pros and cons. I've lived at Terrano Dos Lagos apartments for over 3 years now, and I have to say it'll be hard to leave. With the resort style pool, double decker gym that includes free weights, basketball court, well-kept clubhouse, cute park, access to a lake & local shops and accommodating & friendly staff, I'll always cherish my time at Terrano. Maintenance is always helpful, Theresa and Brooke at the front desk are welcoming, and always on top of their work and duties. I've felt safe in my stay here with neighbors who care just as much about the property as I have. Brooke has gone above and beyond for my son and I, answering any questions I've needed throughout my time here, always thoughtful and kind. The only concern for me was price increases but considering the amenities and the market it doesn't surprise me. I've had a wonderful time living here and growing as a person while here. Our living experience was okay, it was right next to Trader Joe's and the lake so that was a plus for us. Our neighbors would yell and argue every morning which really made it hard for my husband to work from home. During the whole experience, I want to give recognition to Brooke at the leasing office. She has been AMAZING from showing us the apartment, discuss any processing issues, maintenance, mail, or anything at all. I feel she is the only one who communicates to anyone living there and does the majority of the work around there. She should really become the head manager there! Terrano gets one star because I have to click something. Take your money and find a complex that has management which is effective and cares. I will start by saying Brooke, in the office, is very nice and attentive. And she does her best. And the maintenance men on the property are nice. But the managers, Theresa and Rose, are rude, ineffective, unproductive and just completely useless. If I had known that Theresa was a manager at this complex, I would have never moved into it to begin with. Theresa worked in the office when I lived across the street at the Encanto complex and she was just as rude there. I don't know what her problem is but she is not nice, she is not helpful and seems to be bothered by having to do her job. Terrano charges for valet trash, someone to come and pick-up trash from the front door. I personally enjoy it, although it is not necessary. The signed lease states that the monthly fee for the trash is $25. The real charges that you get from the management are routinely double. $48, $50 every month. For what? So many times, trash was not even picked up on the nights that it should be picked up. Yet, we tenants are charged regardless. The lease clearly states there is no smoking in or on the property. Yet, you walk around, and the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke permeates the air! The shared ventilation in the units are ridiculous. When these people smoke marijuana in their apartments, it travels into your apartment. So now your entire apartment smells like marijuana. It smelled so bad that I requested the office come to my apartment to smell for themselves. Brooke comes. She tells me as soon as she approached the building, she could smell it and it was so strong. But yet nothing can be done. So I am just supposed to deal with it, apparently. The quality of the construction is poor. People love to slam their doors. So that sound reverberates throughout your apartment. And it's amplified when you live in the apartments because of the hallways. Parking is ridiculous. And people park on the street to the front of the complex, oftentimes making it difficult to drive through or exit the parking lot. Let's talk about power. The Dos Lagos area is prone to the power going on. During the day, at night. Whenever. And if that's not an inconvenience, the longest it was out was 23 hours. Really?? I understand that is beyond Greystar's control, but I would think management would advise people so that we can make the decision as to whether or not we want to deal with it. But let's be real, it's all about money. Despite the many issues I had at the complex and clearly addressed with the office, Terrano won't let you out of a lease. That goes to show you that they want your money. They present a great place upon arrival. But once you sign that lease, they know you're stuck and they do not care!!!! I've never been more pissed off and aggravated than I have with Terrano and their management. I left early because I couldn't deal with it anymore. Completely ineffective management. Piss poor communication with management. I am so glad to be out of that complex. Go somewhere else. Find an apartment complex that is worth the money. I paid over $2,500 a month for this place. Find an apartment complex that has management who does their jobs and does it correctly. Even if that means you drive a little extra. This place is a rip off. Don't expect to get any deposit back when you leave. They say no smoking and that's all you smell is weed and cigarettes. The weed man told me he delivers all the time to this place. They also use these units as a AirBnd. This was brought to their attention and they did nothing about it. Terrano is a great apartment living. Modern appliance and well kept garage and secured access to elevator from your garage. The tenants keeps to themselves and friendly. The staff are very helpful and creates an atmosphere for the tenants to enjoy living here. The amenities are great, now that we are back to using them. Access to freeway and shops are within walking distance. Construction is on its way for some more added shops, gas station and other activities. The area is securely located off the 15 freeway surrounded with shops and residential neighborhood. Overall a great location and a luxurious style buildings for a great price. JM read more

Beautiful complex and building, decent on the inside HOWEVER This is a very money oriented complex, they can care less about their residences! I have been living next door to a person who has been hotboxing their unit since June and although the lease says 1 time offense is all the need to terminate lease...they have yet to do anything other than warnings to stop! My family can move units but we are responsible for all the costs even though the lease clearly states the guilty resident is responsible if their smoking affects other residents! Staff is all completely clueless, zero communication, always a mess & you will never get the same answers! Trash pick up does not cost the no more than $25 a month quote!! Always closer to $50 or more and zero option to opt out of it. Security is terrible they never show up or return calls, and the office is well aware of this but nothing gets done! Dog poop everywhere! Even on the cement by the garages! Then to make matters worse the builders didn't mark the gas/electrical lines correctly so since opening my unit has been paying for another units use and we only discovered that because that unit got theirs shit off for nonpayment and we went without gas for almost 2 day (no cooking, no laundry, no hot water)!!! The community didn't offer any help or care and had the guts to question why I didn't notice sooner!!! If your looking for a good community to live in I HIGHLY SUGGEST LOOKING ELSEWHERE! Unless greystar makes major changes this is one of the worst places I have ever lived and the amount we pay in rent, none of this should be an issue!!!! read more

I love the location of Terrano! Most of what we need is within walking distance and there is quick and easy access to the 15 freeway.Brooke has always been super helpful and anytime need anything I know that I can ask her and it'll get done. Overall I like Terrano but cannot give 5 stars because we've needed a couple service calls already and even a couple is too many for a brand new place. Most of the staff is easy to work with and does what they can to be helpful, I've gone to all of them, but if you're in doubt ask for Brooke. If you have a service issue don't go to Maria. Apartments and appliances are very nice. The nicest in corona after living in a couple of the different communities and touring just about all of them. Unfortunately that's still not enough to give them even 4 stars. When I moved in a year ago things seemed a lot more taken care of and maintained. For how expensive it is to live here and compared to other luxury apartments I've lived in SoCal I'd expect Terrano to be on top of everything; landscaping, amenities, social events for residents, etc but they're not. The landscaping is left untaken care of. You have plants, shrubs, weeds, growing wildly taking up space on the sidewalk. The mulch is old and dingy. The dog "park" is a literally dumping ground with dead grass. Residents don't pick up after their dogs and management does nothing about it despite countless complaints from residents. They had it closed for months so residents were paying for an amenity that was not usable. The grass should be changed so that it's actually grass and not just dirt and at least a sign to pick up waste. The gym can definitely use more mirrors,cubbies or a space to put your belongings. Management said they'd offer fitness classes but they have not since last summer at the only class available was very early Saturday morning. What about some evening weekday classes? It's hit or miss if there's disinfectant wipes to clean the equipment after you've used it. 8/10 times the canister is empty so bring your own unless you like other people's sweat. The filter on the water fountain has been blinking red for over a month and has yet to be changed so bring your own water too. This is no fault of the day porters who work so hard to keep the grounds clean. It's a lack of supplies provided to them by management. Management is terrible! I've had better experiences elsewhere. Though I will say, Brooke is wonderful and she's been helpful. Everyone else however is incompetent and acts like they hate their job and interacting with residents. I never had a good experience with Mark, Rosa, or Theresa. All where rude and unhelpful. THIS IS NOT A SMOKE-FREE COMMUNITY. THE RULES ARE NIT ENFORCED. YOU WILL SMELL WEED AND CIGARETTES ALL DAY. I wish I could say better things but the only great thing I've enjoyed about it here is my actual apartment. If amenities aren't important to you and you cant put up with zero customer service than consider looking here but if they are you'll be disappointed and might want to look at the surrounding communities. read more

I'm not writing this review because I didn't get my way. But simply because the leasing agent was very rude. As soon as we entered she looked miserable, and like we were bothering her by telling her we were interested in viewing a property. My husband didn't have his license on him. So she said that he could wait while look at the property. Which makes no sense if i had mine. I understand there is policies. However she wasn't friendly about it at all. She said another option if he had a picture of it on his phone he could leave his phone in the office. How does that even make sense lol. The property is beautiful but If these are the people that are working here I'd rather go somewhere else. Horrible customer service. read more

Thank you to all the Staff so Friendly , Rose,Theresa,Maria(Rose) , Brooke and maintenance Crew , thank you . It's beautiful and peaceful. Walking distance to shopping and Trader Joe's. Gated community which I love and security. Kids playground and basketball courts, gym my favorite. They are like family to me ;).
