We had a wonderful experience at Versi Vino. Our server Amanda was very patient in explaining the wine & food menu. The wine flights were a great way to taste different wines & decide on a bottle to order. The charcuterie was nicely done. Hubs & I shared the octopus, duck breast & lamb chops and that was just the right amount of food. Plus we got to taste our dining companions' steakhouse & Santorini flatbreads--delish! Try before, during and after you buy is an amazing concept that the team at Versi Vino has introduced to South Jersey with the help of their large array of wine dispensing machines! Hooters occupied this space for a lifetime and, while their wings were okay, this is way better!! There are a lot of places to buy wine, but at Versi Vino it was really easy to try a small taste of a whole bunch of different wines to hone in on what you like. Once you have identified what you like (aided by the knowledgeable staff) you can buy a whole glass, or continue to try more cool and interesting wines from all over the map. I had a sparkling wine from Greece for the first time and followed that up with a white from Spain and a Carmenere from Chile, all of which were great! But this is not (just) a wine shop, they have a great selection of charcuterie, cheese, flatbreads and more. We had an amazing platter of meat and cheese, as well as a few small plates including crostini, shrimp and really awesome olives to complement the wine. At a time when a lot of businesses are closing down due to the pandemic, it was great to find something new and different. I will surely be back! read more

The meat & cheese platter was excellent and you MUST try the crostini. We needed to order seconds it was so good. The wine selection was amazing and very well curated. There were so many options from all over the globe! They also had an impressive craft beer list for you if wine is not your thing. I love the concept of new wines every 45 days and the ability to order tastings of all of them so I know exactly what I want to buy a bottle of from the store before I leave. We went there for a 6:30 pm reservation on a Friday night (party of 4). Lovely wine selection, decent beers, a few nice cocktails. The ambiance is hip with nice lighting. It's great that the have wines for sale in the front. We got the full charcuterie board. It was nice, nothing extraordinary, came with a few almonds, a tiny bit of pickled onion, mustard and jam and a few little bread slices. Extra pickled onions (again a tiny amount was $3) and there were NO tongs, serving forks or cheese knives so you basically had to use your cutlery to serve yourself which was surprising, especially in the Covid era. We followed that with four small dishes (two hot, two cold). One hot dish and one cold dish came out first so we had to sit there letting the hot dish go cold waiting for the food for our dining companions to be served. Again, no serving utensils and no refresh on silverware. It was awkward. The music was very loud and if you are not a loud talker, it was hard to hear and be heard. I can understand pumping up the music later but not during an early dinner. The chairs are not comfortable if you have any sort of back issues. It was okay, but I wouldn't rush back and I wouldn't go for a conversational dinner, maybe just sit at the bar or in the lounge area. read more

Just love this place! Every time we go, there are new wine and food selections. Everything is prepared and seasoned perfectly. Last night, the new things we tried were the tostones, halloumi bites and truffle fries/wedges. Excellent! The harissa aioli, in my opinion, might be great on anything. So good! We also ordered some favorites - burrata, stuffed meatballs. Amazing service! Never disappoints. There are too many food items to try in one sitting so we'll just have to go back again and again! Really wanted to come here the past 6 months and finally made it happen last night! Since it was so last minute I called around 3pm and they were able to reserve seats at the bar for me. I brake for wine! We happened to be on our way home from visiting family in NJ and spotted the Versi Vino sign and decided to stop in to see what it's all about. What a cool and unique wine tasting experience. The wine selection is top-notch. Their wine machines are a beautiful sight. If you're not sure what to order, you can order a tasting size, half glass or full glass portion. I was able to taste several wines and went home with five bottles of reasonably-priced wines. We were too early to sample the dinner menu, but we'll be back for the food. We live an hour away, but Versi Vino is definitely worth the trip! read more

I live in Philadelphia and have been making the short drive to Versi Vino in Maple Shade for takeout wine, beer and liquor since their soft opening in July. I stopped in today to buy a case of wine and was able to grab a seat at the bar to sample a few wines before buying (you don't get to do that at a PA state store!!). While I was there I ordered a cheese and meat charcuterie board (absolutely delicious) and ordered two flatbreads to go (the Traditional and Rosa Verde -- both were great!). The owners and staff are so warm and welcoming. They are extremely knowledgeable about each wine and beer they sell, and they provide great suggestions every time I stop in. The price ranges are great too -- I've purchased wines from $15/bottle and up! There aren't many wine bar/restaurants in the area. I can't wait to see Versi Vino's expansion into a full food menu and look forward to continuing to try their top quality wines and beer!! read more

You can have a great wine experience without knowing anything about wine, or even how to pronounce those varietals. This is a place for adventurous wine drinkers.
