Stopped by with my husband recently and was thoroughly impressed with the design of the location, the extensive wine list, the flexibility of tasting options, the welcoming staff who is very knowledgeable and excited to give their guests the best experience possible, and the delicious menu items available for purchase. You can stop by here for light bites and a glass of wine, an extensive tasting where you can choose the volume of the tastes you want, can order a flight of wine (try the sparking wine flight) or a bottle or two to go. With regards to picking up a bottle or two, this is a great place to pick up wine bottles on your way to dinner at a family/friends house or to a local BYOB and why not have the opportunity to taste it before you buy it! We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their wine lists as it continues to change with new additions and exciting wines to try. You can also purchase a Wine Card, load it with a dollar amount of your choice, and purchase sips by the glass at their wine tasting machines - note this is on hold for the safety of the customers due to Covid-19. Staff was super accommodating, and our waitress Desiree was amazing! Very welcoming and helpful. Got a small portion of the vodka pasta for $6, and the focaccia came with two pieces. The happy hour had half off select wines. They also had a small selection of desserts. New Wine Bar located in Maple Shade ! The wine shop has been opened since June but the dine in option is now available :-) Normally you'll put money on a card and walk around the wine stations and choose wines you either want as a taster, 1/2 glass or full glass of. This is fun! Butttt due to Covid times, it's not your typical wine bar in which you can use the self serve wine station and choose freely which is a bummer.. but minimizing contact is what they aim for so I totally get it. You can still select from the number of wine options and the server will get your tasters for you! As of this past weekend (9/11/2020), the kitchen opened up and you can now dine in! They had actions for appetizers, small plates, flatbreads and cheese and charcuterie board. We went with the cheese and charcuterie board and chose the 6 for $32. Great selections of cheeses and meats... all of which were excellent! They can also recommend wines that will pair well with the cheeses and meats you choose for those that want the full experience! The servers were all excellent and friendly and you can tell they were excited to finally open up to have people dine in. The decor was very nicely done inside as well! Let's start with the service.....Outstanding! Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and made recommendations. We went with the Mimosa Flight and it was fantastic. You are limited only by your own imagination....and your taste buds. I have only been here for brunch so I can only speak to the brunch menu. It is very limited but extremely well curated. Please don't come here expecting to see one of those 400 page menus that you will find at your local diner this isn't that kind of place. The menu highlights the exceptional wines they offer and they work in tandem to give you an extraordinary dining experience. Start with a charcuterie board... if you are still reading this review let me just say that I could live on bread wine and cheese for the rest of my life. I would be happy and need nothing else. They have extensive cheeses and cured meats again create your own board. Don't feel like doing that try their flatbread I posted a picture of it it was divine. Went here for the first time for a date night. Loved the ambiance and set up! It was such a nice surprise from what I expected with it being in a strip center. The wine flights were great, service was friendly and the food we had was really delicious. The menu is small and the portions are on the smaller side as well but it is a small plates venue so we knew that going in. We got the eggplant burrata and truffle fries which were both AWESOME however the burrata only came with TWO small bread slices which was no where near enough to even eat what was on the plate. We asked for more bread and were told it would cost extra...fine with us because we had a lot of the dish left to eat. They brought out a completely different bread and it wasn't warm or grilled like what was served with it...just seemed odd to me. I planned a bridal brunch with 8 people total; I emailed ahead to make sure they were okay with a party that size and explained that it was for a bridal shower. Was very happy with our experience at Versi. Being located right on Rt 38, we were not sure of what the vibe would be. When you enter the industrial style venue and with the shades lowered you would think you were out in Philly and not in a little NJ strip mall. There servers and staff were very attentive and nice and the music selection was on point. For the wine, there was plenty to choose from all regions of the world. We enjoyed a couple tastings, then went for a full glass for our entrees. You had 3 choices for your pour options; tasting, 1/2 glass and full glass. The selections made our "daily" home wine seem like grape juice. For apps, we ordered the warm olives, seasoned with garlic and thyme, which was a bargain at $4, since we couldn't even finish. We also had the special, shredded pork dumplings. Both were really good. For entrees (we order off the small plates), we had the summer salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were nice size and the avocado dressing was creamy and light at the same time. We also had the crispy skin duck breast with nectarines with a semi glaze. Very tasty and satisfying. Lastly, don't forget to ask about the to-go bottle list. We were able to take home some our favorite tastings at a very reasonable prices. read more

I have a secret. I have never been to a winery before. I have a confession! It may become a weekend regular visit after my experience with Versi Vino. The entire staff were welcoming and helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain how to order wines. Ordering wines became simple once she explained how. Once we ordered our wine sample, our orders were there within 4 minutes. The appetizers were delicious. My friends enjoyed a fried octopus leg and this fig prosciutto and cheese on a cracker. It was an great flavor! Definitely not something you can't eat romantically in front of your partner without a little mess. Still amazing 20/10. I ordered the truffle fries which was very yummy! We each ordered the steak as our main dish and the chef made everyone's steak with perfection and love. The meat literally melted in your mouth. The flavor was a rosemary and truffle oil. I was tempted to ask for a little sea salt because it had absolutely none and the sauce was oil but I did not want to destroyed the chef's flavor! I enjoyed the food as in. We just hosted a bridal shower at Versi Vino and this wine bar was the perfect space for our event! The venue itself has a modern and industrial vibe with a great amount of space for our ~35 guests. We decided to have a bridal shower brunch, and the mimosa flights placed at each seat were an absolute hit! Everyone enjoyed the charcuterie board and crostini appetizers, and the crowd favorite entree was the caramelized apple stuffed French toast! Ok, a new business, a new start and a VERY COOL idea. This partially Covid-19 damaged, store is a new, cool idea that I can't frickin wait until it opens completely! Go in, get your 'card' and go over their wine selections. They have these ultra-cool vending machines for wine await. You can get a taste, a double taste and a glass. If you like it, there is take out to carry it home. There is a bar to drink more, a lounge area to chill and a small eatery for those necessary snacks while drinking. I prolly would have gave them 5 stars if we weren't rushed out in the middle of our date. That really pissed me off.
