I brought my Windows laptop to the service department to assess problems with the Thunderbolt 4 port. I paid $50 for the assessment. When I received the machine back, the tech notes indicated that he had examined only the USB-C port, not the Thunderbolt 4 controller upstream. I was not happy. I called the service manager, Damian, to tell him what happened. Damian not only refunded my $50 but told me to bring my laptop in the next day for a Thunderbolt 4 assessment while I waited. The assessment was done quickly and Damian himself explained the results to me. I was very impressed at how Damian took ownership of the original mistake and took steps to make it right. I plan to make Micro Center my go-to store for computer purchase and repair.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted and sent to the appropriate area. Carole was quick to come over and assist us. We showed her the specs of what is required and then added his own "asks". Carole knew her stuff and was super quick to find him the perfect computer. She also knew what his school would provide and didn't try to take us for more money than necessary!
