Order was in "process" for 6+ hours, called store to inquire on when i'd be able to pick up the phone. I was told "I don't have an answer for you, it's Black Friday we're pretty busy".... Okay? Next day went into this store at 12:30pm to see if I could literally just pick up the phone I ordered and paid for, was told they canceled my order as soon as I placed it the day prior, because they were "out of stock". Was told that I'll have to just cancel my order through Verizon and have it shipped to me instead. Why couldn't I be told this when I called the day before? Waste of time, never will be purchasing anything at this location.

The employee told us that the only promotion we have available was to pay for device protection that was going to be about $40/month for 2 phones at least 6 months otherwise we cannot get the upgrade promotion. While I thought it was weird for them to push insurance on customers, I stated that we would think about it and come back. Luckily, I got home and called Verizon wireless customer service and was told that I get the same promotion without having to purchase insurance at least that was what was showing on my account. So, they tried to sell me something to get commission on yet telling me it was a stipulation in order for me to get that promotion. Anyways their loss I just wanted to warn the people going to this store for anything.

I've dropped my phone countless times and nothing has ever happened before. Perhaps I thought my phone was shatterproof or something. The glass on my screen would get into my fingers every time I would text. I put my phone in an otter box case right after that has a projector. I could hear and feel the glass break even more every time I used my phone. I quickly looked on Yelp for a phone repair place close by and got a quote. I went in today to Metro Detroit Phone Repair and was quickly assisted. For $70 I was able to get an Apple screen and a warranty. In about 30 minutes, my phone was fixed and good as new. I had my laptop with this facility for about 3 weeks for a simple charge port issue with my laptop…read more I've had it repaired before at a different shop before, so I had an idea of what to expect. After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.
