My appointment was set for the day they moved their store to the local Meijer. I showed up and the only tech there took care of me (I had called earlier also) and took care of me as he should of. Found out my only issue was the electrical outlet I was using for my charger. Not my phone, my new charger or lightning cable. Nothing of mine. Took care of me as quickly as it was to observe, took care of me as a regular client and charged me appropriately. Will for sure go back after my experience with the tech and manager.

So glad to find this small business in our own backyard. I brought my Apple 13 pro to be evaluated…read morefor inconsistent charging port issues. We have a Best Buy Geek Squad service and after diagnostic work, we were told that a $450-500 repair was needed. This business offered the same repair for $150. They stated they would test the part before installing and if it did not do the trick, their labor would be $75. They also recommended a battery replacement, while the work was being completed, as mine was borderline after 3-years use. The cost of the battery would have been $75. We had checked with a non-certified Apple T-mobile store who offered us $200 on a replacement phone. Had that been our best option, I would have paid the $225 to fix my current phone (which worked well other than the charging port issue). The Pod Drop also recommended we check with a T-mobile certified Apple Store to see if there was a better deal on a new phone. We did just that and chose to turn in the phone and receive a new phone at no cost, with some tweaks to our plan that did not change the monthly payment. Returned to The Pod Drop to pick up the phone and turn it in to T-mobile. The staff were honest, informative and professional. For this interaction, they did not make a cent, yet they earned a loyal family-customers. We will return to them for all-things cellular. Noticed some good pricing on phone cases and other accessories too. I will be calling their store to check on stock and prices before ordering from Amazon or another big box store. Really appreciate small businesses like this.

I dropped my laptop off Sunday the 21st of June where I was told by the guy at the front desk they…read morehad the Liquid Metal I needed then told it would be done the latest Tuesday morning. As I work in Lansing I requested my mother to go and pick it up Wednesday where she was told and called me and put the phone on speaker that the Liquid Metal they had actually wasn't correct and the new Liquid Metal would be there later that day. I eventually showed up to the store the 27th where I was told again the Liquid Metal wasn't there and I requested a tracking number and better updates. The shop claimed they had reached out but after review of my phone records no attempts were made until after that Saturday. They eventually put the new Liquid Metal in when it had arrived and messaged me about this and then called telling me the fix did not work. On Thursday July 2nd my mother had returned to pick up the laptop. When I came home July 3rd to see if everything worked out good I find many more Scrapes and scratches on the laptop and when turning it on the fans had a hitting sound leading me to believe the laptop was assembled incorrectly when picked up. The 1 star rating does not reflect my opinion of this store as I believe it to be much lower. I find it insane to charge nearly 200$ for a Liquid Metal replacement then after 2 weeks of waiting receiving a laptop that has more issues than when I dropped it off. This store created more issues to the point i don't feel comfortable turning this laptop back on. A new laptop in 2024 that cost 3600$ that now is a paperweight till a competent repair place looks into this and hopefully can repair it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PC'S HERE.
