I brought my 2nd gen iPad Pro in because it wouldn't charge anymore - even with a brand new charging cord. They were able to clean out the charging port and got it charging again! They didn't even charge me since it was a quick and easy fix. They were just happy to help. Tech Boys have my business from now, on. read more

Awesome job they did what everybody said could not be done!thanks Frank and Shaun, they listened to my needs with my iphone and it was done

After proving my MacBookAIR keyboard is not waterproof I called Frankie for a repair estimate because I already trusted them once at their (old) Troy store. My old OS (Yosemite 10.10.5) was near closing out Apple Factory Service anyway. The agreed solution was to keep the laptop, add a refurb keyboard/trackpad, give me back the soggy old keyboard in a bag. Frankie gave an expedite option (added shipping costs). Sean also replaced the batteries; and Techboys delivered with quick turn-around, very happy! Even after a scary trackpad & keyboard freeze the next day, Frankie jumped on it, under warranty, and after a weekend, Sean re-opened my repaired MacBook to discover the refurb trackpad failed. Frankie asked for my old trackpad, Sean installed it, upgraded my OS to Monterey 12.7, called me for pick-up at 11PM - he sure works late hours! I'm a happy camper now. Case close, good job and Techboys is my first choice for repairs! read more

Techboys - At the 2nd repair, Techboys added trackpad ribbon or connector insulation tape (not shown) to prevent recurrent freezing. - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Shelby Township, Michigan

Excellent service - they kept updated during the entire process. My laptop screen repair was well done, and they were very knowledgable about how to fix my laptop. They felt bad that part took a long to to come in (which was not their fault), so they even added a new keyboard. I highly recommend the Tech Boys. read more

5 stars for price and 3 stars for quality. I had a cracked iPad screen. They quoted me $85 on the phone. After I called I found a 10% off coupon for first time customers on their site. When I came in to the store with the coupon the final price was $90 and $95 after tax. Still a fair price with Apple charging 3x more and I was in a rush, so I didn't argue. However, they seem to be making up their pricing on the fly. If you get a quote, do it by email and bring it in with you instead of doing it over the phone like I did. As for the finished product, I've seen better. Two edges on the inside of the screen have visible tape residue and you can also see dried water residue on the inside of the screen when it's off. The rubber seal around the edge is torn up where they pried around the edges to get the original screen off. One of the screen corners wasn't down all the way and I could lift it up with my fingernail. They didn't even bother putting the home button back correctly. It's slightly rotated so the center square icon looks weird. All that being said, I use this iPad for my kids, so the price matters more than the repair being amazing. It still works fine and when the screen is on you don't notice any of the residue on the inside of the screen. It's also in a kid-friendly case so the edges don't bother me either. If this were my personal iPad, I'd be disappointed. You could probably pay slightly more for a better repair elsewhere. read more

Forget looking around, in the area or not just come here. Quick and easy to work with. Not an obvious store front though, you have to go in the strip mall corridor to get to them. Regardless, it's worth it if you need your phone fixed. read more

Was given a quote through email that was on point. Friendly and lightning fast service. They had my broken iPhone 7 plus screen fixed in about 30 minutes. The shop and employee were very professional. I would highly recommend them before going to the Apple Store. read more

My daughter dropped and smashed the screen on her iPhone 5c for the second time in a few weeks...I dreaded having to deal with the Apple store in the Mall again, and shell out another $130. A friend told me about Techboys, so I called to check it out. They said they could fix it in about a 1/2 hour for $100. We brought the phone in and were greeted by Frazier. The store was neat and inviting, and Frazier confirmed that the phone could be fixed. They did a good job, done when promised, and I was glad to save $30 and the Apple Store hassle. Thanks, TechBoys! I'll be sure to recommend them to my friends who have teens with iPhones.....it's only a matter of time before they need a repair. ;) read more

AMAZING!!!!!! After being on the phone with Apple Tech support and getting nowhere I reluctantly called Techboys. I was reluctant because I never dealt with them before and I was worried they may make the problem worse? ( MacBook Pro) Long story short.... these guys are Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! He told me on the phone he could fix it today.... He fixed it in two minutes... I was going to take my Mac to the Apple store and put up with the crowded Somerset Mall and busy Apple customer service center. What a huge relief! Thank you so much for making my life easier!!!!!! read more

Frankie and the rest of the staff at Techboys are very kind and knowledgeable. Frankie fixed my iPhone 7+ screen quickly and at a fair price. He even suggested I buy a case from their wide selection and offered me a tempered glass screen to prevent another issue. I would recommend Techboys to anyone looking to get a repair job done right. read more

Two days turned into two weeks... Brought a Galaxy Note 4 in for repair and was told it would be ready in two days. Multiple calls, days and excuses later, I was told I would receive a discount on the repair to compensate me. When I went to pick up the phone? I was told I there would be no discount. It took two weeks from drop off to pick up. Take your phone some where else. You might pay a bit more but it'll probably be ready when they say it will. read more

Terrible!! I went her to get my iPhone 6 screen fixed and had to back again because the screen started glitching and then he replaced my sceen only to have half my screens touch not work. I highly don't recommend you go here unless you don't mind going back 3 or 4 times read more

This is a great place to do business with! Fair price and my phone was ready when they said it would be,

They fixed it to my dismay. They let me use one of their computers (in their shop) for my homework that was due that night. They are very nice young men and did a great job as I am writing this review on the fixed computer. I will use them again, even if I live in Ohio....lol! Only kidding, I'd never move to Ohio. They are now my new favorite men. read more

I walked in with my niece to restore her iPhone after spending all day with att and Apple trying to do the same. The service and professionalism were impeccable. They are courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The service was quick. Their shop was clean. After speaking to many others that day that failed to assist me I highly recommend you call them first and not waste your time elsewhere. You won't be disappointed. read more

Great service! Replaced screen and LCD on an iPhone 6S within half an hour. Best price too! I highly recommend this repair shop!

I brought my phone in to have the battery and camera replaced. In the process of replacing the battery they accidentally damaged the screen. They were very professional about fixing the screen and at no cost to me. Now my battery, camera and screen all work great. Thanks, guys. read more
