After looking at some reviews here on yelp I thought I would try out 'Batteries Shack' for my Ipad repair. First, their pricing is great. Cheaper than some places I have been quoted closer to home. The repair work was flawless. I not only shattered the screen when I dropped it on a cobblestone street the Ipad case was bent and they straightened it as well. The only thing I can see that indicates that it was ever fixed was the minor scratch on the back side when it slid and bounced on my initial drop. Second was their wonderful customer service. Seems like a bit of a family affair with everyone working in the shop chatting with me as I waited but on the drop off and pick up. They are confident in their profession and knowledgeable. Even when I asked to purchase a new charging cord and they found they didn't have one in a package in stock they were willing to give their own personal ones up to make me happy. Third was their go above and beyond service. I pulled into their lot with the biggest chunk of metal sticking right out of my now flat tire and they offered to change it for me, also in record time and accepted nothing more than my thanks and a hand shake. I ordered a battery for my motorcycle and it came in the next day. The staff was helpful and friendly and called me when the battery came in. I'm giving 4stars because they're only open until 4pm which made it a bit rough to get there before they closed. A better than average experience. read more

I had my laptop with this facility for about 3 weeks for a simple charge port issue with my laptop. I've had it repaired before at a different shop before, so I had an idea of what to expect. After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. A few years back I went there to have my electric bicycle batteries replaced... since then I have not been able to charge nor ride the bike. It was very expensive and has been sitting in the basement for about four years now because of this and I thought it was an issue with the charger... the wires are wired backwards! The grounds are not in the right place! I'm missing a freaking battery and they shoved a piece of Styrofoam in its place... not just one piece but two pieces of random styrofoam where there use to be a battery. I'm sure now all the batteries will have to be replaced and the gentleman on the phone was not at all willing to help me in any way shape or form.. I'm livid!! This is the first review I've ever written and I would absolutely not go back! I spent $100 for them to hotwire... or wire it backwards and ruined the new batteries before I ever got a chance to ride it. At least before I had the batteries replaced there I had 4 batteries total.... I could Still ride but only get 6 miles out of the battery... now my $600 bike ain't worth shit and it thanks to them!!! 100% Shady business for sure! I should have know better. read more

Brought on my phone to have front screen fixed. The only thing wrong was the cracked screen. They broke my back screen and my front camera! They did re order back screen, but didn't inform me it was in until I called 2 months later! Then just played it off that they broke the camera.. Came for phone repair and was told that a new screen should fix my phone. The employee tried/ordered 3 different screens to fix the problem, but unfortunately my issue was bigger than just a screen. After all their hard work they could not fix my phone. I picked it up as is, and they charged me nothing for all the hard work they put into it. Overall, great business with and honest work ethic. I took a couple days to write my review just so I could see how my iphone6 handled itself after the screen change. It appeared that other people had issues with their touch screen but so far I've had no issues. My phone looks brand new and for such a great price. Even with my phones insurance the cheapest screen repair was 85. Anas quoted me a equally competitive pricing (actually less) and they even added a tempered glass protector for a great price! I will pay you Not to go Here. First the store rep overpriced the screen until I told them how much others were pricing.at, then there price "just changed in the system today at 120 out the door" from $140 plus tax. So I took the offer. Wrong choice. I have a tmobile lg g3 and I came back to a phone with "Verizon" on the screen and glue hanging out the side. Then when my phone dropped (on carpet this time) same day I got it, it shattered worse than before, knew it had to be from how they put the screen in, a mess. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONSOLE INTO THIS SHOP!! - I took my PS4 there, after a week they couldn't fix. I forgot to pick it up for a couple months and when I went in they said they recycled it. I asked why they didn't call before they supposedly recycled it and they said "hey we told you we couldn't fix it so its your fault, company policy". Basically they stole it from me and most likely used it for parts or fixed it and resold it or something like that. This is my speculation but the fact is that my PS4 is gone and these guys operate like crooks and cant fix PS4s. If you don't pick it up in 30 days then they steal it from you. I went to get my playstation fixed and I was told I'd receive a call next day explaining all that was wrong and pricing and etc. After three days of no word I called them and they told me there was nothing they could do for me and to come pick it up. I saw another reviewer state that they were able to replace the battery in his Michael Kors watch. They normally require special tools so I was excited to have potentially found a local place that could do it. I used the website contact form to email them to ask, includig the style numbers for both my MK watches. They responded within half a day, stating yes they can and to come on in. Well, I drove a half hour and brought them in, only to have the gentleman behind the counter tell me in three seconds flat that they can't do it. THAT'S WHY I EMAILED AHEAD - to avoid having my time wasted. Gave two stars because the store looked neat and well organized with a wide selection, so for ANYONE ELSE'S battery needs, this is probably a good bet. read more

I had an issue with my laptop where I couldn't charge it because the power jack was loose. So I stopped by to get my Dell Laptop fixed. Anas and his brother Sam run the shop. Ana's told me they have to run a diagnosis to find out what the issue was. He also promised there would be no charge for it. So I left my laptop there with my phone number. Later that day he called and told me it would cost $80 for labor and parts. I picked up my laptop the following day, all fixed with new power jack. It appears that they've done an excellent job. They fixed the hdmi port on my ps4 within a couple of hours. Service was nice but a little expensive ($87-$90)but cheapest around the area.

Came here yesterday to get my white iPhone 6 cracked screen repaired and was told they were out of white screens. He said if I came back today he would have a white screen for my iPhone.....and he delivered!! As soon as I walked in he told me he had a white screen for me!! Anas had my phone screen replaced and looking like BRAND NEW in about 20 minutes and for a great price!! I asked for him to recommend a good screen protector for my phone, he showed me a great one and demonstrated how it would not scratch easily. When initially looking for a place to repair my iPhone 5S screen I was discouraged because each place was estimating $120-$140 for the repair, which is more than I spent on the phone itself. I am very disappointed in this store. I was quoted 80$ to fix my ZTE blade. The screen had shattered, so I was looking to get it replaced. They were one of the cheapest places. I go Thursday to was told that it would be 94$ instead and bring it back Saturday. I was annoyed at the difference in prices, but figured I would pay it anyway. I paid in full and was told to bring it back Saturday. Saturday, I was told that it was going to take a couple hours and it would be done. I went back up three hours later, and they said that there was no service so they would have to figure out why and said that it would be another 15 minutes. My patience were running out at this point, but I figure I'll wait a little while later. I finally pick my phone up at about 330. I had dropped it off earlier in the day at about 1130. I immediately bought a screen protector so it wouldn't shatter again. On Sunday, I had my phone sitting in the car for a few hours, and when I went back to the car, the screen had a two cracks on it. I had the new screen on less then 24 hours at this point. My annoyance level was a little higher at this point, but I figured since it's Sunday I'll wait until Monday and give them a call. I leave my phone in the car again and come out to see a few more cracks in the screen. I check the screen protector and there are no cracks or scratches at all on it. All the cracks are underneath the protector. Now it is Monday, and I call them to inform them that my screen had been cracked from just sitting there. It hadn't been used the whole time I was in the car. So make the phone call and was told that they weren't going to do anything about it. They said that I had cracked the screen intentionally. They said that the only thing they can do is give me a discount to get it repaired again. I'm very unhappy with the service and how I was treated. I was told a totally different amount and the screen cracked in less then 24 hours. I will not be coming back due to this whole thing that transpired the last 48 hours. read more

Okay so here's the deal. At 3pm I shattered my IPhone screen and was pretty sad :-(. So online I went to see if I could find a good fix. I stumbled on a site who promised quick service and they will come to me. Too good to be true and it was. So I said YELP please help and well I found Anas at Battery Shack and to my surprised they FIX IPHONES and other stuff. So I called and told him my issue and he said that he could SAVE MY LIFE. After following the advice of some people on YouTube I tried to clean my Wii without the proper equipment. Well in the process I messed it up. There are no video game repair places close to where I live so I had to travel over 50 miles to get to this place. It was worth it! The repair shop is in a good neighborhood, the inside of the store was clean and the staff is super friendly! Their website says that they will try to have your game fixed in under 12 to 24 hrs, but the guy that fixed my Wii did it in under 2 hrs! My Wii works again and I'm happy! I will definitely return if I need any of my other electronics fixed. read more

After reading the reviews for this place I decided to use the Batteries Shack to replace my cracked iPhone 5C screen and I am glad I did! Not only did they offer the best price around, they were super fast & efficient in replacing my screen - it took less than a half hour. They have great store hours too. Perks - you can run across the street and kill time at the shopping plaza. The service is exceptional & I plan on returning - as well as referring all of my friends to them. I would just recommend calling them before you leave in order to get an idea for a time frame and also if they have the proper screen for your iPhone, I did this & was in & out in no time. I took my daughters iPad to them since it was stuck in "headphone mode" so she couldn't get any outside volume. They replaced the headphone jack and the screen since clearly you have to remove the screen to do a repair like that. They did a great job and their prices are VERY reasonable!! I went to cpr in Atlanta and they were great and quoted me $50 to fix my phone...but I had to come back to Michigan...so I went into a cpr here and told the guy what I was quoted...he went on and on upping the price as he spoke...all the way to over $260!!!!
