When I got home after fully charging the Ear Buds I discovered that the one set had a defective left ear bud. I returned to the store 4 days later on January 9th to exchange them for a working set. When I arrived to the store the person helping me had to call the Manager Val to get an authorization to return the product. At this point the person was told that they could not exchange them. Speaking to the Asst. Manager BOBBY who was completely rude to me and had no intention of satisfying a customers needs. HE was also very condescending in his approach to me that made me very angry. He spoke of another customer that was not happy just prior to me getting there as if the customer was crazy. He might need some training in customer service. His attitude might be a BOBBY Problem not a customer problem. Bobby then proceeded to tell me that I had to contact Samsung because it was a warranty issue. It was not! I was sold a defective product and simply wanted an exchange of goods. After much insisting and getting upset, I called Samsung while in the AT&T store and was told by Samsung that they could not help me and it was AT&T's problem. Even after I spoke to and had Samsung on the phone speaker so Bobby could hear I still was unable to exchange them. I drove to the Samsung store in Paramus (30 min. drive traffic on a Saturday) where they explained to me that Bobby and Val at AT&T should have exchanged it because it was not damaged according to the warranty, it was defective. I was sold non-working piece of equipment. I called back to the Wayne store from the Samsung store and had 2 of their employees try to explain the warranty to BOBBY. While on Speaker I specifically heard Bobby tell the Samsung employee that VAL the manager was not going to take a hit to her store for the restocking fee and this was not their problem. The Samsung employee begged for them to reconsider because I would have to wait 2 weeks for new EAR BUDS. BOBBY then stated to which I heard . He was not concerned that even though I had paid $149.99 for the ear buds I had to wait 2 weeks. His words were what's the big deal. Before the conversation ended. BOBBY told us at the Samsung store "I am done talking about this" and hung up on all 3 of us. The level of customer service is staggering poor at this Corporate store located in the Preakness shopping center, Wayne NJ . If I bought a drill at Home Depot and it did not work I would have gotten an exchange and been out the door in 20 minuets. Instead I now have to wait 2 weeks to use a product that I paid $149.99 for because VAL and BOBBY are more concerned about the bottom line of her store then customer satisfaction. I had been going to the Wayne store for many years. I have spent Thousands upon Thousands of dollars in that store. Unfortunately for them I will never be back to the store to purchase anything. I will look to contact the District manager or cooperate customer service to make sure everyone is aware of BOBBY and VAL My friends and family will hear of this story for as long as it takes me to tell everyone of the way I was treated because of a $57.00 restocking fee. The shadow that the sun casts from my being will never darken the door of this Cooperate AT&T Store again.

He told me that's why he asked because he figured there was debris inside the port based. Could have easily taken my $90 and swapped it out, but he didn't.
