I just got off the phone with their Tech coach,…read moreabout a phone I purchased for $200.00 (remember that amount) I also purchased the insurance for the phone. When I originally purchased the phone, I tried to activate it, I got a system error. That was approximately a month ago. Fast forward to today. I went to the corporate Verizon store to have them activate the phone. They could not activate it either. Same system error I got a month ago. In that intervening month, the phone got a pinhole in the lower right corner of the screen. Which of course gave Verizon all the excuse they needed to deny replacing the phone that has not worked since day 1. Let me reiterate this...Verizon ( a multi million dollar for profit company) denied to replace a $200 phone that they confirmed had not worked since the day I bought it... I have never had this experience with Verizon before this, & I do not think that I will be giving them the chance to do it to me again. I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for many years now. Yet I now find myself questioning that very loyalty when the that loyalty is obviously not returned. It is with a heavy heart that I can no longer recommend Verizon as an honorable company. Corporate greed & the almighty slavish adherence to capitalism at the cost of everything else. Had cost them my good graces & any future business that I might have given them. In fact I am seriously considering taking my existing business with them somewhere else as well.

    I was convinced to upgrade my surround sound, Internet, and connected devices. I turned in my old…read morerouter/modem for an upgraded one with an extender. However, the extender didn't work with the one they ordered me. On a Monday, the technician came in but couldn't connect my service. After disconnecting it, he couldn't reconnect me, leaving me without service for all my devices, which are over 30 in my home. This company uses call centers to service customers, and they're nothing but liars. They promised to make up for everything that happened and make it right. The technician came in on Friday and connected the SAME equipment that was here on Monday. I was down for about five days without service to my cameras and all my devices in my home, including my surround sound, TV, and more. I had cut the cord years ago and went wireless, so I thought everything was fine (my call initially was to figure out how to speed up the reaction of my)until I was convinced to upgrade I was told that what I had did not cover the amount of devices I had in the house. The solution Center they used were too busy to sell me more things that I didn't show interest in because they weren't fixing my problem or getting me connected. Just like the big outage that was read about, my outage was just as bad, but it was just my home. The technicians who couldn't service me lied because they know you can't trace them and they want you off the phone. They're in call centers in foreign countries with my card numbers and personal information. Who knows who's behind the phone? It could be a technician or our salesman, and they act as both and can't figure out how to get the systems up and running and you connected as a customer they guess they lie and want you off the phone and again it's a language barrier. I have nothing to say about this company regarding its services and its ability to service customers satisfactorily. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Look at their stocks and their decline in customer service. Their Board of Directors must be scratching their heads as their wealthy owners wonder what's going on with their company. They need to start listening to customers more. It doesn't have to be "the customer is always right," but Verizon is no longer the big dog on the block. Just like AT&T used to be the big dog in town, Verizon isn't what it used to be, and that's a fact. I see them going down, merging, being bought out, or just folding. They promised me twice that they would adjust my monthly bill this last month, but nothing has changed. There are a bunch of liars who don't keep their word to their customers, and there was no making up for the loss of my services monetarily. They still wanted my monthly payment though. If you're looking for an Internet provider I would look elsewhere there are better companies those that can service you hear on shore not offshore. Oh and good luck to you.

    I have received computer repair services at Ready Set Repair multiple times over the last few…read moreyears. The service and experience was always great! Unfortunately, purchasing a refurbished lab top from them was a different experience. After taking my previous laptop in for service and learning it was fried, I decided to purchase a refurbished laptop from them. I figured it was safe since my previous service experiences had been positive and I had never felt like I was being ripped off. After a sleazy sales pitch, I purchased a refurbished Dell laptop for around $600. I have had refurbished computers in the past and have never had an issue with them. This Dell, however, is the worst machine I have ever had. It is, by far, the slowest computer I have ever used and it does not maintain a charge. I have to have it plugged in at all times while I am using it. Might as well be a desktop from the mid 90s. It is an extremely frustrating machine to use. Soon after losing $600 on this pile of junk, I notified Ready Set Repair of its issues via their online portal. I never received a response. I will not be going back to Ready Set Repair for services, sales, or anything else. I do not recommend them and advise anyone seeking their products or services to be wary of untrustworthy sleazy schmoozers. Gross.

My friend told me about Consumer Cellular, I checked out their options, after which I choose to go with them! I've never had any issues with them! In fact when I signed up, I received several discounts the same day. One was a discount for being a senior citizen (I'm 74) my monthly bill was $40.00 . down from T-Mobiles of $97.00, that's a $57.00 less. Second discount, off first bill was their discount of second month was Free! Third discount I received was my military veterans discount!, and the fourth one was because I was referred to Consumer Cellular! I'm like, Wow, who else would do that? My first bill was only $18.00, my second was Free, paid only Taxes and fees which was $4.00 my third bill, with taxes and fees Was only $48.01, still $49.00 cheaper than T-Mobile, I didn't mention before T-Mobile, I was with Verizon, that monthly bill for one line was $117.00 When I called about the Consumer Cellulars advertisement on TV saying that Consumer Cellulars monthly bill for people over 50 was $35.00, I called them and asked if I would be able to get that rate also, even though I was already an existing customer? No explanations or excuses to the negative! The gentleman immediately, said, yes of course! , and changed my plan to reflect my monthly bill to the $35.00 rate! Will I recommend Consumer Cellular to others? Without a doubt! YES YES Yes! They give their customers more than what they Say! I'll be a Consumer Cellular customer for a very long time!

It was NOT once disclosed that the data was not actually unlimited. It was unlimited up to 50gb shared between 4 people and then it was slow. When I say slow, it hardly worked. The service CC carries was not good at all actually. Nor did they disclose all the extra fees. Then when we finally switched, they didn't cancel the account when I requested. They then are trying to charge me for an additional month even though paid what I owed the day I cancelled.

You could have driven to at least one of the stores here in town twice, and once and back, with the other store that offers vehicle installations. Unfortunately, you can't get hold of someone on the phone at the store, at least when I've spent an hour trying to get a hold of somebody local. On the positive side, the installation was completed over three visits on Wetmore, which is a 40-minute drive one way. I should have used the Auto Installer like Audio Express, etc., nearby in case anything went wrong or needed further attention. Unfortunately, my truck failed inspection because the Best Buy technician did not properly install the reader that the admissions must use to read the readings on your vehicle . The job was halfway done when I encountered issues with the Remote Start they installed with the female port of the key fob. This port broke, preventing you from charging the Remote Start to the vehicle. Now I have to try to get that replaced under my covered warranty with Best Buy. The name of the store should be Worst Buy. Overall, the customer service was terrible. They should either go out of business or switch to an online-only model, similar to Circuit City. It's too bad they are a monopoly on TVs, surround sound systems, computers, electronics, etc. I definitely would not recommend these guys at all. It amazes me how much information these foreign countries have on us, US citizens, so these greedy CEOs can keep making their millions and paying workers in Guatemala a dollar a day or whatever it is. I got the 5 year best buy warranty and the AI will not transfer me to a person. It told me to go visit the store and speak to someone there. I have used Best Buy for years, but after this, I will be using Home Depot or Lowes. You guys just lost a loyal customer.
