Went to Verizon off 8 Mile where they sent me to Verizon off Pacific because that store could help me with absolutely NOTHING!!! I was helped by Christian Diaz at the Pacific Verizon store, he was great. He set me up with verizon support on the phone with issues the store could not resolve. After everything was squared away he helped me pick out a new smart phone, case and phone accessories. Even better I was out the door in less then a hour! Highly recommend this store. read more

Customer service is horrible. It is nearly impossible to speak with a human being. Even the live chat agents have no clue what they are doing and they have no power to help. Furthermore the company failed to remove my ex husbands phone/account from mine and sent my bills to his address. They also called him about my account which is a clear violation of privacy. I was supposed to be on autopay and because I was not receiving bills I made the mistake of assuming they were taking money from my account. When I upgraded phone, I made sure all of my info was up to date yet they still failed to remove my husband. They did not send me bills nor did they use auto pay. Furthermore I have yet to be able to use the services that I am being billed for. I tried calling. I was told it was fixed but when I tried to back up my info or update apps I received message that my account had been disabled so I have not been able to use several necessary apps. Then my service gets suspended but I cannot call out or receive calls to remedy the situation. They refuse to restore service until I pay all fees including late fees and restoration fees and I STILL CANNOT BACK UP MY INFO OR UPDATE APPS. They messed up big time and they say they can't fix the problem. I have made three different appts for someone to call me but no one ever called. I have spent countless hours explaining the situation again and again. I tell them to read previous transcripts. They say they do and then give me info that I clearly stated did not work. I have also been disconnected while waiting for a live chat agent for over an hour. When are companies going to realize that we want to talk to people and not computers. read more

Went there to upgrade phones for the family (for me, my wife and 2 daughters). Veronica helped us and she was very friendly and professional. Answered all the questions we had regarding the upgrades, 'Buy One Get One Free' promo...etc. We also needed to make changes to our plans and she was able to get everything done in a timely manner. They did not have the 4G LTE phones that my wife and I wanted so she had to order them online for us. We received the phones in 2 business days. She had suggested we'd bring the phones in after we receive them so she can help us activate them. We went in the same day we received the phones and she had the phones activated in about 15 minutes. All in all, great experience and would definitely go back. read more

Be very careful with these sales people and make sure you look at and read the sales contract. They are very good at adding items along with fees that you are not aware of to the contract without your knowledge nor do they disclose these things. If you should ever make changes, your contract will automatically be extended as if though you started from the beginning. Do not trust friendly faces or smiles. I went into Verizon with my sisters in December. One of my sisters wanted to upgrade her iPhone 6 Plus to an iPhone 7 Plus. Chelsea was the one who helped us. Right off the bat, she was fun and bubbly and she really made the experience pleasant. She asked if anyone else wanted to upgrade because they were doing a promo where you can trade in an iPhone 6S Plus for an iPhone 7 Plus. Surprised, I asked her again if I heard her correctly. She then reiterated that it would be an even trade. I wanted to make sure so I asked her one more time that if I traded in my iPhone 6S Plus for an iPhone 7 Plus, it would be an even trade. It was very clear to my sisters and I what she told us. The iPhone 7 Plus I wanted had to be ordered so she told me to keep my phone and once the new phone comes in, bring it to Verizon and they would set everything up for me. Fast forward to when I brought the phones in. They told me that the trade-in value of my phone was $348 and that I'd have to pay $20 /month for 24 months to pay off the new phone. Hold up. Wait a minute. That was not what I was told. This got me so upset. I texted my sisters who came with me that day and even asked them if I misunderstood what we were told that day in December. They texted back and both of my sisters told me that Chelsea said it would be an even trade. I was so upset. I was told to wait for Chelsea and talk to her about what the agreement was. She looked up my account and told me that the promo I thought Verizon had at that time didn't exist and that they had a promo to trade in a 7 edge or iPhone 7 for an iPhone 7 Plus 32g. Then she told me that it would be $8/month for 24 months for the iPhone 7 Plus that I had. First off, that's not what the guy who helped me earlier said. I'm getting two different stories. Frustrated and upset at the situation but not wanting to cause a scene, I told her just to upgrade my phone. Then she asked if I was sure because once I go through with this transaction, it cannot be reversed. I asked again if it was $8/month for 24 months and she said yes. She then proceeded with the transaction. She printed out my receipt, I reviewed it and asked her one more time if it was $8/month for 24 months. She looked at her iPad and said, it's $8.33/month! Is she serious? So speechless. I don't respect people who aren't good for their words. I don't know if they're blatant lies or if it's lack of knowledge on promos. Verizon is the worst company! Their employees at customer service are lazy and noncompliant when trying to explain on a phone charge for a defective cell phone that has been returned! They messed up on feeling out their paperwork filling forms incorrectly on a cellphone I was returning. The first time verizon's contacted me in January 2014 the warehouse found it Verizon employee will me they corrected it and not to work. Later in March I was sent to collections for one month late charge. I contacted Verizon and I was informed that they found it and not to worry wait three days and it would be okay and not pay my my payment until after they had corrected the issue on their side. So two days later they shut my phone off without telling me and I contacted them on my landline and the person I spoke to had no clue what was going on I spent more than a half hour explaining to him until he found it and then he told me that I still had to pay the amount time of more than $1200 to correct. That was for the and return phone lasting months late fee the same month fee and the following month fee so I have to pay two months in advance this is in March that it would be paid through until May? I went to Verizon on Pacific Avenue and try to explain to them and they told me that they couldn't help me that I have to pay the late fee if I wanted my phone turned on and that I had to do it on my own because it it was nothing that the take care of there! The manager was sending me away but not without me asking to speak to his district manager or his regional manager at which time he refused. After for refusing to leave the store he went ahead and have them contact customer service and at which time I paid over 700. Dollars just for them to turn my phone on and they said that if he would correct the problem. But even with billing more than 4 times at different dates and different occasions the $500 late or non-return phone fees was still being charged and my account. Each customer service employee told me that they have to send a form in to submit it and that it would take a few days I was more than four employees. I finally went online and contacted the CEO of Verizon customer service and let him know what had happened he clearly found their mistake and credit my account. At which on our conversation he informed me that most people would just let it go and pay the amount. So to all of you that have returned a phone and you ended up paying for it contact the CEO online and also you can contact the credit your are consumers affair and fill out a complaint and there is a phone department at consumer affairs and you can fill out the paperwork by printing and online. I say have an 800 number you need help. And CEO also had told me that none of the paper work Fully been submitted regarding refund the return phone by any app his employees that I had spoken with. I terminated my phone and went with another wireless company which was best and smartest thing to do!!! read more

Becareful when asking regarding unlimited plans. I was talked into purchasing a Mifi hot spot, was told I needed it due to my situation (relocating to another state and need broad band to work), and was also told I needed an unlimited plan. I was also told the mobile hot spot feature on my phone was not sufficient. Unfortunately was not told that with a MiFi hot spot after 15 gigs per month your data speed is cut in half. What about unlimited? Now I am stuck with a contract that does not work for me. Very misleading and nothing I can do. As soon as this contract is up I will be switching providers. read more

Recently I changed providers to T-Mobile. Overall a much better plan. Anyways, during to process T-Mobile explained that one of my phones was unable to unlock and adviced me to return to Verizon. After a 20 min hold with Verizon they explain that they are unable to assist. Eventually I wasted $90 on a new phone. How dare you guys? Verizon are criminals! Horrible. Verizon Wireless...GREAT customer service! Had numerous problems with my cell phone (new phone, but screen would go out...down to messed up battery...down to mistakes on my phone bill due to customer service making a mistake on their end)...BUT verizon took care of it ALL! It got to the point where I was literally walking in there several times a week for two weeks...kinda made me laugh...i even joked with one of the guys at this store and said, "..hey i should work here since im here all the time! and you guys even know me by face AND name when I walk in the door! LOL!" I have had great customer service at the store and ALWAYS great customer service at their 800 number...i used to have cingular/att before and HATED it! Oh...and also forgot to mention....since i've been with Verizon the past three years...my phone reception is great...VERY, VERY few times do i get call drops while I travel...when I had ATT/CINGULAR...that happened often. I have been with Verizon for a number of years and have had the best customer service reps. If you go, ask for Daniel. He was so kind and patient and helpful. I would highly recommend him. Unfortunately today we got Emily who was impatient, completely uninterested in helping us and made us feel like we were wasting her time. To top it off, she had us start restoring our phone (which takes a long time) on their WiFi and left us to go help other customers. When we approached a different customer service representative, he suggested we take it home because their WiFi isn't good there. I feel like we completely wasted an hour of our time and I'm angry that we were treated so rudely. read more

I know a number of the sales associates at this Verizon store -- and those I know have always been lovely to me, especially when I am frustrated. Well, this time I went into the store, and I was not frustrated by anything at the store. I had lost my phone -- my lovely SAMSUNG Note 2. Well, Sirivuth, (also known as V) was assigned to help me and he was the MOST patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and outstanding at providing me with options. The people I know, are always helpful -- sometimes there are other slackers around -- but if I get to talk to "my" people, I am always pleased with the assistance. Let me stop here and explain, the customer is not always right, but whether I am correct or incorrect in my assumptions, these folks help me through the issues -- Chin, V, Teresita, and many others. This store sucks n so does the customer service u call .. U wait for ever at the store n the staff are rude and obnoxious .
