I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! I was with them for over 6 years and they robbed me blind year after year. A ton of hidden fees and incompetence that lead to incorrect charges that they fought me on refunding. I even had the call center representative go off on me for a mistake she made because I asked for her supervisor. She hung up on me then when I called back her coworker also brushed me off. It took 4 weeks to get a hold of the supervisor to get a $100 overcharge error on her part refunded. They take advantage of their loyal customers. I paid off my phone, paid their last hidden fees and cut ties. I recommend xfinity if you have internet with them or metro by T mobile. They all use the same towers anyways for a 3rd of the price. read more

I've tried for over an hour to speak to someone about a bogus bill. I don't have service with Verizon, yet I received a bill for $119.72.

Came in with my mom to add two lines onto my sisters account. Met with Michael at the front who I 100% recommend to anyone that isn't tech savvy or really know anything about phones or phone plans in general. My mom isn't the smartest and asked a million questions and he patiently answered all of them even when I got frustrated. I came in to transfer services under the I promise that they would pay off my old existing phone from T-Mobile. The person I dealt with at the store said I would receive a Visa card or Mastercard in the mail with the amount that I had on my old phone. This was a fabricated lie after dealing with the horrible Verizon. This was brought to light. I never would have switched services or done business with Verizon. If I knew that they were going to be dishonest about this, I've had to pay off the old bill using a credit card and had to pay service charges on that money and it's caused me financial difficulty in my life. We went to buy a new phone for my wife last Sunday. We were new customers but saving her old number to a new phone and carrier. The guy that helped us was so kind and informative and explained that we didn't have all the info needed to do exactly what we were trying to do in switching carriers. It was no big deal and we decided to come back the next day. So he gave us a business card and told us he has the next day off but still gave us his personal # in case we had questions. His name was "Island"(a nickname") and he was so professional and nice. So we go in the next day and we're helped by another guy named Joel. He was equally as nice and professional, informative as Island the day before. We were impressed that Island called Joel to let him know we'd be coming in and what we needed, all on his day off. Basically what I'm trying to express is that we were treated so well here every step of the way. In fact while we were there I noticed that all of 3-4 of the employees being so professional and kind to everyone. It was so refreshing to see. Our experience in this store couldn't have been any better, and Island and Joel are the type of employees that any business owner would want. read more

On 4/3/22, I stopped by the Verizon store to switch my phone from Xfinity. I had been suckered into the Xfinity deal and then to realize how hard it was to get support through Xfinity. It was near impossible to get my issues addressed. I decided it was time to switch back to Verizon. My dad decided at the same time to make the jump. That Sunday, we decided to stop by the Verizon Store in Stockton, CA. There we were greeted by the Verizon rep by the name of Eric. I will say I've managed several company accounts over the years and your used to a certain level of support on the business side that you never really get on the retail side. Eric, shattered that expectation in a great way. We had to port our numbers from Xfinity. It took near 1 hour on hold with Xfinity to get the transfer code. Once we gathered all the info needed, my dad and I gave the info to Eric who then took it and went to work. This is one of the most patient individuals I've ever received help from in a retail setting. He took charge of this situation and we were able to leave it in quite capable hands while we went to lunch. I figured we'd be given this info back and told to call ourselves but that wasn't the case. Eric spent nearly 4 hours working on our issue with both Verizon and Xfinity. We were told Eric was off the clock but he stuck around to make sure our issue was resolved. Once we got to the end of our time at the Stockton store, Eric communicated to us very articulately and accurately that our phones wouldn't work due to a 48 hour port changeover that takes place on Xfinity's side. Eric followed up with my father and I after hours and even the next day to make sure it was working.After I responded that the changeover hadn't taken place yet the next day, he got on the phone with Activation and got the issue pushed through. I work in IT and never in my years have I had someone for a retail (Personal) issue go above and beyond. He even followed up with us to make sure everything was working. He took a bad situation and made it better from switching from Xfinity to Verizon. He was a great example of how a company's image should be and I felt he should be recognized for it. read more

My go to location! Always taken care of, from the start we switched over from AT&T to Verizon! Ricky has been a big help with switching us over, he's helped us with little bumps down the road. Marissa the store manager has also been so helpful while taking us in on such short notice. All employee under her are very respectful asking if we've been helped at all times. I can't enough kind thing about this store. I went in today with an issue with my Iphone that another place had damaged. I was going to be out of a phone til Tuesday. Josue helped me initially and then when I cam back about 1 hr before they closed I had decided to get an Apple watch because it was going to be the best deal for me at the time. First of all, the person who assisted me was okay. However, the brand "new" iphone 11 I bought from this store yesterday is missing a sim card. Also, I noticed when the sales rep brought the phone out. It was missing the plastic wrap, along with the plastic that's usually attached onto the screen. Long story short, I was in the store for about an hour. After, buying the phone, I immediately went back to my sister's house where I was visiting and turned on wi-fi. I didn't think anything was missing on the phone since, calls where made via FaceTime using wi-fi. The Sales Rep and I did not do a test call at the store. We both assume it works. So, on my way back home which is an hour away from Stockton. I tried using Pandora, but my phone did not have internate. I tried making an out bound call. But, I got an error message stating, "wireless number is not active or invalid and to contact the wireless provider." As soon as, I got back home. I called *611 on my phone immediately. Once again, call was made while connected to Wi-Fi. I spoke to Jamie in Technical Support. I told her the entire situation and she advise that I go back to the store in Stockton. Told her it's about an hour away from where I live. She advise to go to the closest nearest store to me. Which in this case would be in the Arden area. ***** Cross fingers something can be done. ***** At this rate, I'm starting to think, the phone I recently bought may not be as brand new As I thought it would be..... I'll write an updated review after my visit with the Arden Verizon Store. Update: I visited the Arden store in Sacramento and explained my situation. Omid (sales rep) and Ernesto (arden store mgr) was very helpful. They both were sympathetic to my situation and apologize for the issue I've experience done by the store in Stockton on Pacific Ave. I didn't go back to the Stockton store because it's an hour away from where I live. Long story short, Omid and Ernesto went over and beyond to make things right and took accountability for Stockton's store error. They (Omid and Ernesto) ordered a brand "new" iPhone 11, which came in within 2 days in a "wrapped box, plastic on the screen and SIM card already inserted in the phone." Another (male) associate from Arden helped me perform the set-up. I can't thank the amazing staff in Arden enough for their understanding and over and beyond assistances! I was able to talk with a lady and she helped me with getting the bill lowered and was not sure why they were charging me so much..... Well yesterday was my bill date, and they took out the max amount. I was on the phone with the lady for over an hour and I went to my bill, and it showed she fixed it to the correct amount and yesterday they took out the 298. This verizon store is a joke! They need to re-train their staff on how to do customer service bc clearly their staff is clueless when it comes to it. You go in and try to buy a new phone, the employees tells you the sales tax is the actual price Went in 2 months ago and bought a basic phone for my mom. Sales guy tells us the phone we purchased, we would just pay $40.00. I asked if that was the price of the phone, sales guy tells me yes. No mention of it being a "sales tax". We thought, great, we got a deal! Bought the phone. 2 months later my mom wanted to get a better basic phone. Today we went in and found out we still had a balance of "$120.00" before we can even purchase a new phone. I was fucken heated. Told the sales lady what went down 2 months ago. She just batted her eyes and said, "you need a couple mins to think about it?" Wtf kind of services is that? I know I ain't entitle to get free shit frm this shitty store, but I'm entitled to know wtf I'm paying for. Don't lie to your customer just to get a damn sale. A little fast talking but still Verizon...can you hear me now?!? I stopped in here a few days ago looking at the possibility of a family member switching from AT&T to Verizon. I guess my family member has gotten tired of dropped calls...go figure. Since he is an iPhone guy he finally can get the all-awesome Apple smartphone for Verizon. The one thing that bugs me about this location and most Verzion corporate locations is that they MAKE you check in when you walk in the door. Literary you can not walk two feet past the door steps without someone accosting you and asking how they can help you. Seriously you have to explain to them sometimes that you are "just looking" and that you have no questions. I know they work on commission but just leave me alone for a minute!! We talked to one of the sales people about the possibility of my family member switching carriers. We explained that my family member wanted to keep his discount that he had before he retired from his job. The sales people totally worked with us about getting the discount transfered. The guy who helped us did talk a million miles a minute and was a little overwhelming but he was SUPER informational. We did not end up ordering anything this specific day but the sales people were still good and helpful. To be honest it was the normal Verizon Wireless corporate store experience...no worse, no greater than normal. Would I go back? Of course I would. :0) read more
