I've had mixed experiences of late. Terrible time upgrading phone. When I redid the order list my upgrade benefits and was only given pennies on the dollar. Spent all day, over 5 hours, trying to upgrade two phones. Tried to get military waiver to unlock phone with negative results. I want to clarify in store experience was fantastic for what they could control. The problem is with Verizon Wireless Corporate meaning their central number and MyVerizon chat communications. read more

Ariah ( forgive me if I am spelling the name wrong) at the Cobb Parkway SE Smyrna GA 30080 was extremely rude. Verizon set my appointment to pick up an activated SIM card for son's phone and return two plug in n go boxes that came to my home. She was very uninterested and walked away from several times. A few times while she was on the phone with Verizon. The agent was speaking to her, she literally walked away. I told the agent that she stepped away. She even took another customer before she was finished with me. I even told her I felt invisible. The agent advised her to make sure the SIM card was activated. I had to wait until November 3rd 2025. I waited. I was on the phone with Verizon activation for 4 hours. We couldn't get the SIM to activate. Finally, the agent said she did not activate. While on the phone I got a message that I had a package. It was the SIM that was supposed to arrive Saturday but that SIM card in and it worked. Ariah was very unprofessional. read more

Make sure you have an appointment before going if it's anywhere near closing time. Arrived at 6:35pm, they close at 7pm. I wasn't even allowed inside by the security guard at the door. He stated you need an appointment for anytime after 6:30pm, which I don't see mentioned anywhere on the website. TRUST THE REVIEWS! Try a different location. Wish I would've read the reviews before I decided to start service at this location. I almost reconsidered opening an account with Verizon again. I got there around 3:50 yesterday. I expected them to be busy because it was a Saturday. There was two sales reps viewable and three customers being assisted. A gentlemen came in before me and then it was myself. I browsed around for a few to kill time. Eventually, I sat down where available. The manager, (I'll leave his name unsaid) greeted me and I told him i basically want to transfer from my current provider to Verizon. He then asked for my account number and pin for the current provider. I said okay I'll have to find it. Now as he's sitting directly across from me he is facing the opposite way and blatantly on his personal phone in front of me. I understand this may have taken some time, but at least tell me "while you do that I'll be right back" or something. Then go to the back and be on your phone. Any who, I finally get the information and he asks me to move to a table in the middle of the floor and passes me off to a female sales rep. I will leave her nameless as well. She tried to just start my application without finding out why I was there. She ask for my license so I give it to her and she just starts putting it in the system. While doing so, she asks do you know which phone you want. I said no that's why I came in, can you tell me about what you have. I let her know I currently have an iPhone and would like to ideally upgrade. She walks me over to the iPhones. Explains that there's 5 colors to choose from with 2 camera lenses and the other has different colors with 3 cameras. I said oh what's the difference? She said "Oh, I don't know the technical specs but they're about the same." I kind of gave her a blank stare after that. I then took matters into my own hands and googled the phone to see the technical details of the phone to review myself. She then directed my attention to her tablet to show me the color options again.... We sat down and she gave me quotes which sounded okay. She explained those pretty poorly as well. When I asked direct questions about what was stated on the quote she generated and presented to me she told me to ignore that part and just kept repeating what she said. (Maybe they have a script ‍) Finally, I select a plan and she submits my application. I pay $66 for taxes and fees. She grabs the new phone and a return box for my trade in phone. Then she puts everything in a bag. She then says I'll have to set my phone up once I am able to connect to Wi-Fi. I said, wait you're not going to set up my phone right now. She said no it's $29 now to connect in-store. I'm like okay, in my head I'm thinking why would she not include that in the quote then or at least verbally relay this information. I came in with a working phone I would like to leave with one. I then asked well will my old phone work because I'm about to drive to Duluth. I need a phone in case something happens or may need a gps. She says "Yes, your old phone service still works until you transfer your phone." Now that was a complete lie. I get in my car in their parking lot and both phones did NOT work. That didn't even sound right. If you just transferred my phone number to Verizon why would my old phone work, that just logically didn't make sense. This review is already long and y'all should get it at this point. Try to avoid this location by all means necessary if you can. Absolutely horrible service. I wished I would have just left and went to a perimeter or Duluth location since I was heading that way anyways. This store needs re management and employees or just shut the place down. BEWARE OF THIS STORE !!!! SCAMMMMM!!! Please read this*******0 stars !!!! Do not buy from them or have your phones shipped to them for pickup. On 07/18 my fiancé and I went into the store around 6:15pm to purchase two new iPhones and join the Verizon family . Soon as I notified one of the employees what we was trying to do she immediately goes & tell me I can't do that at this store. I asked her why , she said because they close at 7pm and it takes time to do new purchases on the phone. I was so confused because it was only 6:15pm. To me she was being straight lazy as hell and rude. So as we walking out she goes to tell us we can order and chose our plan online and just come pick up our phones tomorrow. That's exactly what me & fiancé did when we got home . The online process was really easy. We set the store for the pickup for today 07/19. I go up to the store at 12pm today to get our phones and guy ask who name it was under I told him my fiancé . He was able to find our order but said I couldn't pick it up cause my fiancé was not in the store . I said ok and told him we be back around 5 or 6 when he get off to get the phones. We get to the store around 6:05pm , I let me fiancé go in by his self because it should been a simple pickup. He immediately is sent back out the store and tells me the lady said we at the wrong store. I was so confused because I gps the location to confirm the store when I order the phone online . I go inside and the lady immediately keep repeating "this is not the right store . This is Smyrna " as if I'm stupid or something. So I make my fiancé pull up the confirmation that has the address attached to it and show her and she immediately got quite and then say I don't know what happened you need talk to the manager . So while we waiting to talk to the manager another email come to his other phone and it says our order been cancelled. I explained to the manager what happened and she immediately said "oh well, that mean we do not have the phones " I responded how you don't have our phones all of of sudden when I was just in here and the guy over there was able to pull our order up and tell me the phones is here he just couldn't give them to me at the time cause my fiancé wasn't with me. She paused and said" like I said we don't have your phones here , we don't have no iPhones pro here at all" I asked her what happened to our phones then and she said" idk , they probably sold them" like how the hell can you sell somebody purchased phones ?!? So I ask for corporate number or someone over her and she said" it's me, I'm over this store ! The only thing I can do for you is that you can come back in the store in the morning and buy two new phones again and I can waive the activation fee" . Like what the hell, it scream SCAMMMMMMM!!! I asked her how you don't have my phones now but you have it in the am ?!?! Im not done with them .. DON'T EVER ORDER ANYTHING FOR PICKUP AT THIS LOCATION. They will have it in stock, Verizon customer service will tell you everything is good to go on their end and that I'm just waiting on them to scan a barcode on a phone and put it in a pickup locker. Customer service even proceededs to tell me that I could pick it up at any time because on their end it's saying ready for pickup. But when I get to the store I'm unable to get it till I receive a pickup email?!?! KNOWING THE PHONE IS SITTING ON A SHELF IN THE BACK!!!! What's so hard about scanning the phone my id and the payment method. I will literally go to another store to set it up, just give me the phone. It's either managers being lazy or simply don't know how to do their job. Idec if yall reply to this, yall need to put yourself in the customers shoes. How would u feel if you had three confirmations that your order was ready for pickup only to drive an hour out for them to say u can't pick it up till you receive an email. I want to be with Verizon but it's hard to when you DON'T HAVE YOUR PHONE. Great customer service by management that it clean well lite friendly service and staff

If I could leave this store negative stars I would. I came in to get some help with an order, and I checked myself in and was told on the app that I was next in line. I sat for an hour and a half without being helped. I watched the employees begin helping customers who had just walked in while me and several others had been waiting for hours. Everyone working was extremely unprofessional, and one lady in particular seemed to have known one of the workers and was able to skip the whole queue and get immediate help. After that I walked out. It's funny when you go to warn others about a negative experience but so many others have beat you to the punch. No surprise over the 1.7 star rating. I am volunteering for the city providing Christmas gifts to families who cannot afford them. The ONLY store who had what one family wanted in stock was Smyrna, which was 45 minutes from my location. I paid extra for Express Pickup which allowed me to be able to pickup my order in 2 hours. After 6 hours had passed, I attempted to call the store with no luck. It transferred me to corporate who had me on hold for 30 minutes while they contacted the store. I needed to call first because of how far I had to drive to get these items. They got back on the phone and told me they were able to get in contact with the store and that the store communicated that my order was ready for pickup. When I came into the store two hours after the call with corporate, I went to retrieve my order and it said it wasn't ready, despite the store telling Verizon corporate it was and I was welcome to come pick it up. With a room full of people waiting, I checked in. Someone walked in after me and was approached before I was- even though I had checked in first. When Michaela (a manager) finally came and asked what I needed I explained I checked in and was in a strict time crunch and explained that the order was supposed to be ready, clearly I'm frustrated at this point after all the run around and delays. She laughed and said "Really over some airpods?" The airpods are not for me. It shouldn't matter what I ordered. I paid extra to have it ready quicker. The charity these items are going to have a very strict deadline. Which, I shouldn't have even been in a rush since I Placed the 2 hour express order 12 hours prior to that deadline. Of course it's frustrating when a store is unorganized, not helping people in the order they arrive, and not pulling online orders when they have EXPRESS PICKUP plastered all over their walls. Reading the other reviews, this store should lose their ability to do online order pickups as it seems they are not able to manage them at all. The cherry on top was how rude she was to me. My daughter asked why the lady in the store was so mean screaming at me to calm down when "you weren't even doing anything mommy". she has NEVER said that about any store employee in her almost 7 years of life. THATS how unprofessional and rude this manager was. I would not return to this store as it seems like they are not running efficiently, between the ratio of how many employees working to people waiting and the lack of going in order. If I ever need Verizon items I will definitely stick to my normal store or do shipping only. read more

Have been trying to get my trade-in credited to my bill for two months. I have receipt of delivery, submission IDs, and several calls to customer service later still no credit. I've spent over 4 hours to date on this, with only promises, no results. So I try this store. The upside was it took about 10 minutes, downside I was rudely told it wasn't Verizon's problem. Screw what you've heard about Comcast, Verizon customer service, including stores, phone and chat is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. I'm thinking of filing suit against this store, it's management and any employees I can get a name for. On my hunt to switch carriers, I popped into this store around 6:45PM tonight. I was instantly greeted by a Jarod who was very upbeat. He asked if I needed help and I told him that I wanted to look around first. He told me to ask him if I had any questions, which I did after I was finished. He wasn't pushy or rude at all. Something that is a big turn off for me when I enter a store. So once I was done looking at phones, I went to Jarod to ask him a few questions about the plans offered. He was very knowledgeable about the services, and even showed me approximately how much my monthly bill would be. He was very patient while I asked questions and took his time making sure that I understood the services offered. At the end of my Q&A session (lol), he gave me his card and told me to call or text him if I had any further questions....which I immediately did when I got back to my car and realized that I had forgotten to ask hm something. I called him and he answered his phone promptly, which is a big plus in my eyes. He took the opportunity to give me the info I needed and was very kind. Should I choose to make the switch to Verizon, I will definitely patronize this store, simply because of the level of customer service that Jarod provided. However, After driving all the way here to drop off my previous iPhone (new one came in mail) I was told that they were closed to any new customers at 12:15pm due to undisclosed reasons. I cannot say enough about Hasan. He is an absolute stand out employee. Any business would be lucky to have him. He went above and beyond to him my fiancé and myself to port our numbers and start a new phone plan together. He worked overtime to make sure it was a smooth process for us, getting on the phone with support even after we left the store. We got an even better deal than we imagined thanks to Hasan. Even more, after the sale was made, he kept in touch to try and get us incentives after Verizon phone bots messed up our transfer. Give this man a raise. It is hard to find employees that truly care about their customers and will help them leave the store a happy and loyal customer. That is what Verizon has with Hasan, don't lose it! read more

Normally - I never ever have a problem when going to this location. Sometimes I stop in just to say hi to my favorite CSR - Yvonne Hargrove...other times, I simply go in to pay my bill. Well Friday, Sep 25th was not one of the better times. Here's my story: I was first in line to get the new iPhone 6s-Plus. I arrived at 4:00am and waited til the opening hour 8:00am . To my dismay, at approx 7:40-ish myself and the other group of faithful customers were told that their shipment of this particular phone did not come in. Here's the disappointing part ~ I understand that things happen and it was out of their control. My biggest beef had to deal with the management's inability to foresee this problem and advise the customers in a timely fashion. It was an EPIC FAILURE on their part that that left my image of Verizon tarnished at best. Because my CSR-Yvonne is so sweet and displayed empathy, I went ahead and placed my order for a future delivery, but this experience leaves a bitter taste...!! And the district manager, Gina.....really has a lot to learn about "how to win and keep" good customers. read more

I am a new customer to Verizon so I decided to take my friend to the store on Cobb Parkway because she was thinking about switching services. When we walked in we were greeted by the young lady who assisted me last month. The Assistant Manager (Ashley) was walking around ignoring us because it was close to closing time and she didn't want to wait on us so I asked if she could help us and she said I'm still with a customer who was in the phone with customer service for over 10 minutes...So I asked her as the Manager why wouldn't she acknowledge us and say we will be with you shortly she immediately got defensive and said "I don't care what you think and who you call..you can call the GM for all I care" and I'm thinking WOW this is from a Manager. Another representative came over to help us and I asked for the GM's name and number and the Assistant Manager number and she yelled "I'll give you my whole name Ashley ?. I didn't hear the last name because by that time I was pissed that an employee of Verizon would treat a customer like that in front of the entire store....Even the other employees were shocked! We spent 3 hours on the phone with a verizon customer service rep at Costco trying to get my Daughters phone upgraded early, I was going to pay the early termination and get her a new phone they did everything they could and promised everything costco was going to give us to get us out of costco and come to a verizon wireless corporate store, We asked for supervisors over and over and were denied, we finally came to this location and explained everything to them gave them the verizon rep's name and employee number and Their best help was to call customer service and hand us the phone. read more

NEVER go to this store and purchase at time of sales pitch. They try their best to confuse you and fast talk their way to a sale. Make sure you write down in detail exactly what your bill will look like, the exact charges you will be charged and that you are given the 1453 pages of fine print policies that basically say you will be screwed sideways to sunday. Fast talkers that not once talk about the time frame to cancel and that if you miss that date by even one day - you will be charged the full termination fee and not even get an apology or oh gosh, hate that for you.
