I explained that the phone was intermittently getting HOT when charging, which leads to a fast draining of the battery as soon as it was removed from the charger. The drain takes about 2 hours, even when the phone is sitting on the desk or otherwise not being used. Miguel tried to convince me a relatively new charging/data cord, bought from a Verizon Store, was the culprit. In desperation, I tried his recommendation to buy an Apple Cord and Brick. It is still intermittently heating up when I charge it. I don't blame Miguel for that. Apple has trained him to do this. However, Miguel left helping me to go on a 15-minute break, forgot about me & moved on to the next customer when he returned from his break. I walked out. The lines were long, the techs were struggling to keep up, but lackadaisical about their time. I spoke with several people lately: friends, several other customers waiting at the Apple Store & on FB. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Apple. They apparently have a plethora of bad batteries & are making excuses instead of correcting the problem in order to keep their profit margins fat. I needed help in trading in my old iPhone, and was not in the system yet, since I hadn't registered. No problem! Josh took his time to find my new client file, and professionally handled all the details for my trade in, including my receipt. But it gets even better! I had put the protective screen on myself (better handled by the professionals) and while Josh was working, I asked Javian if he could help me. One of the rep in the store fraudulently ordered many new iPhone 13 under my account number without my consent and knowledge! I found out by a confirmation notice from UPS confirming a shipment of the newly already activated phones that was being shipped to the Verizon retailer located in Cumberland mall! Once aware I immediately called the store the same rep answer and said he did see the order that he must've did it by mistake and would I like to delete my order that he made a so called Mistake on! I asked for a supervisor or to speak to corporate and he said he didn't have a chain of command! I reached out to Verizon corporate Fraud department and they verified that it was fraud and blocked the order!
