This should be "0" stars. Extremely deceptive practices. This store coerced my 91 year old mother with Alzheimers into starting an account in order to get a supposed free phone. When I informed her that she had Xfinity and did not need a new phone she went back the next day to return it and was met with an extremely rude man that refused to take the phone back. The phone was mailed back to Verizon corporate at their recommendation after a call to retention. After 4 months and 17 hours of repeated to phone calls for fraudulent billing for a line that did not exist and for a device that had been returned and signed for by verizon receiving, I was finally able to have the balance zeroed out except for a $40 activation fee that they refused to refund. Verizon as a whole is a shameful corporation, but that is not a surprise. What is a surprise is that a local reseller would treat the elderly members of its community so poorly. Unfortunately this is the world that we now live in - the younger generations are raised without morals, respect and reverence for their elders. read more

The people at the Zafarano store are breathtakingly ignorant and rude. I have never seen anything quite like this place. I decided to try the non corporate location by Albertson's at DeVargas. Horrible experience once again. MIA is the assistant manager in Santa Fe at the corporate Verizon store , 3545 Zarfarano Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87507, who put on an act like she was going to help me and what a joke. We had 3 people on our plan and my husband and I decided to switch to T-mobile because of the lies from Verizon when we tried to get a new phone. My son stayed on my plan. It's been 1 1/2 years and I can't even look at my phone bill because I don't have a phone with Verizon and I can't get into the account without a phone number. But they are deducting the payment from my checking account. But that is nothing compared to the fact that my son was supposed to get full credit for a new phone when he turned in his old phone in August 2024. I called customer service every month for the first couple of months and they adjusted the bill but the deduction would not happen unless I called every month. Finally I went into the Verizon store in Santa Fe this morning July 21, 2025 and Mia an assistant manager, another assistant manager, ( don't know who it is because they grabbed all of my papers from my hand and told me to leave the store) told me at first that she could get all of my statements back 1 year. Then when she got them she said that she could only go back 3 months. She proceeded to tell me my son got the phone 1 year ago and that there was nothing she could do . I said that I have been trying to straighten this out for a year and it has been documented when they started giving me credit. She also lied again because he had been billed for 10 payments of paying for his phone and not a full year as she said. He was not supposed to be paying for his phone at all and it was supposed to be credited over 36 months. She and the other assistant manager and another employee "ganged" up on me and told me to leave the store and she would document the account that I wasn't allowed to come back to the store. She also told me I could NOT have the 3 statements that she had printed for me and literally ripped them out of my hand. I then went to the "non-corporate " Verizon store at 4961 Main Street, Santa Fe, NM 87507 and my experience was unbelievable. They offered me water while I waited and they were so kind and resolved the issue in 10 minutes. Rafael had his iPad in front of me at his desk ( he didn't have to go to a back room like Verizon did) and he proceeded to look at my account from when the phone was first acquired and saw that the promotion had been erroneously removed. He looked at the promotion which was valid and had Verizon on the line and got the promotion put on again I had my account credited for the 10 payments that I should NOT have paid and the cost of the phone $830.00, will continue to be credited for a total of 36 months . He was a miracle that I had stopped into this store. The corporate assistant manager at the Verizon store had no intention of straightening this out. I give the "non corporate " store at 4961 Main Street 100 stars, If you want to preserve your sanity do not ever step foot at the Verizon Store on Zarfarano Drive, Santa Fe. If I could give them a negative number, I would. Run, don't walk away from this store. Save yourself time, money and frustration and go to an actual Verizon store. Staff are incompetent. Waits are hours long. We have been dealing with billing inaccuracies for months now as they gave us incorrect information and rang our new phones and services up incorrectly. Trying to breathe. I filed an official complaint against this store. They're really miserly: great at taking customer's money but terrible with customer satisfaction.. Everything needs improvement there. It's a hopeless place. Extremely rude service. You walk in, they don't greet you. Was sold wrong screen cover. Too small and it cost me 3x as much as my previous screen cover which had lasted me one year. This one they sold me they didn't inform me it was non refundable. I had a lifetime warranty but the quality was so bad that I wanted a refund. Despite receipt and box the manager of the store said no. Avoid this store - go to the actual Verizon store. I traded my phone in for a newer phone when Verizon had a special offering a free S23, and a TAB tablet with a new plan and my trade in. I was told that the tablet was back ordered, and they would call or email when it arrived. After 2 weeks I tried calling (don't waste your time .. they don't answer their phone). I went to the store and waited in line several times only to be told they were having problems with FedEx deliveries .. and they would call or email. I went back again today (it's been 2 months since my purchase) and was told they were no longer offering that plan, and that my tablet order had been cancelled, BUT ... I could trade my new phone in on their latest special and get another new phone, tablet, and a watch .. I walked out. I've been with Verizon for 30 years and I'll stick with them, but I'll never shop at a Victra outlet again .. rip off. Lesson learned. read more

Two years ago, I had great service at this store. But recently I went to this store with my own phone [that I bought from Apple] to change phones, NOT to change plans. But I suffered a secret change in phone plans plus got some mysterious insurance charges in the process, and this affected 5 other people on the plan. This was a careless mistake; I never signed up for, or consented to, a change and was never told there would be one. Verizon verified that all the unconsented to changes happened at this store. We had to call Verizon directly to get them to recreate the terms of the previous plan--but it took all afternoon. I went back to the store to have them correct things but they had closed the store 3 hours early. Very frustrating. This is no longer a true Verizon store [despite what its sign says], and I can never trust it again to represent Verizon. read more

I bought a new iPhone and there was a problem setting up the business account for me. I could never login to my account on Verizon. I returned to the store 3 or 4 times. The manager was never there. I was promised a returned phone call by the employee, Emelio. He took my number and placed a post-it-note on on his desk/counter. I never received a returned phone call. They were great selling me the phone and, then, terrible when I required service a couple days later. read more

I know this Verizon retailer has mixed reviews here, but I have to give big props to the service and patience showed by Mariana. She was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, kind - she never made us feel stupid. We purchased new XR's and she assisted with the backup and download and showed us some essential tips. The place got busy several times and she showed great poise and calm in the face of slightly distressed and rather demanding and emergent patrons. My review is somewhat based on this store's direct service and somewhat on Verizon, in general so here goes. First off, it is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone from any Verizon location, and if they just, just made an effort at good customer service by answering the phone a, service could be improved by a huge margin. I tried calling this store, in particular because as a new customer, the wrong phone had been sent to me and I wished to exchange it. I tried calling this store three times and each time I was sent to a third party. That person confirmed that the store had the phone I wanted, and that they probably were too busy to answer the phone. So I drove 40 minutes into Santa Fe to make the exchange. When I got there, first of all, the store was empty, so why didn't the sales rep. answer the phone? Secondly, he said that they could not exchange the phone even though they had the phone that I wanted because they were an affiliate, and so I had to go to the ACTUAL Verizon store to do it. It was 10 minutes to closing, and no time to drive to the other store. What makes me really angry is that if this guy had just picked up the phone one of the times I called, he could have told me to drive to the other store instead. Infuriating. I wasted an hour and a half of time, gas, and now must make another trip to town. Needless to say this is the last time I will attempt to do business at this store. And I am generally really wishing right now that I can stayed with AT&T. read more

I left GoWireless in the railyard 30 minutes ago and am super disappointed with the customer service I received. There was only one gentleman working the store which is fine since it is a small space. He was super helpful with putting my screen protector and case on my phone. After we were finished I checked my bill and noticed he charged me $10 extra for my case and I brought it up to him. The sales associate then blamed me for grabbing the wrong case and complained that he was the only one in the store and hadn't had a chance to check the prices. Which is interesting since all the cases were marked the same price. I plan on returning the product and will not be back. read more

Omg first it took them three hours to process our new phones because of a pricing error. Then we returned two days later to pick up our iPad which arrived while we were there. But the supervisor couldn't come out from the back room to sign for it. We came back the next day to find out there was another pricing error and they would have to cancel that sake and start all over. Worst customer service ever, bait and switch tell you one thing do another, had a problem with a 14 day old phone the employees knew nothing and complained they only worked there 2 days and did not have keys or access codes for computer, so basically worthless, then found out they are not a verizon store but just a contractor (bait with logo sign and switch they can't help you). I just purchased an i phone 7 plus at this store. I have been a customer at this store since 2009. I received the worst customer service in all my experiences. 1) I was given inaccurate or incomplete information. I was told that all my information would transfer over. When I got home I found that none of my music had transferred. I asked and was told that this cannot happen on this phone. Apparently, this would not have happened with an Android. I would have purchased another phone if I had been fully informed on these changes in the new iphone. 2) I was told on two occasions to come to the store and speak to them because they had lots of customers and couldn't answer questions over the phone. I suggested that they just take my number and call me back. This did not happen. 3) Most of all these two young men are not properly trained. They do not seem to know how to serve clients properly. I was not able to lodge this complaint with the company but I am quite certain that I will never shop here again. read more
