My husband broke his glasses and needed some immediately. He was seen right away by Dr. Casey. We got his glasses very quickly too. We went to eat and they were done in 11 minutes ! Everyone that works here is so nice and I'm very grateful they exist because otherwise my husband might have been out of a job. The eye doctor can't take insurance yet but the eyeglasses section of Eyemart express does and we were able to score some really nice glasses. Thanks !!!!! I will recommend this place to others. read more

I love the fast service of Eyemart Express. And their selection of frames is excellent. While Eyemart Express accepts vision insurance (like VSP), the technicians run through the myriad of options and add-on charges so quickly, it's hard to know if you are getting just what you need without extra expense. read more

Terrible customer service, always have to wait for someone to show up to help. Was sent away when I wanted to buy 2 pairs of glasses and went to Stanton Optical instead which I highly recommend doing. Even though I'd been going to eyemart express for 9 years I'm not going back again. I came one last time to use my warranty on my sunglasses. It took over a week for them to "be ready". I was told I would be getting a new pair of sunglasses but when I showed up they made me wait 20 minutes and took my old frames to just switch the lenses. The man with long hair needs to work on his customer service. Instead of sending me away he should has said why don't you take a look at the glasses we have and see what the total would be with insurance. Thank you Stanton Optical you have my money from now on. read more

Phillip was the associate that assisted me today and he was very courteous. He was able to help me find a replacement frame for my nephew's broken ones and they were affordable and stylish. Phillip also informed me of the frames one year warranty that come included. Great service overall! Highly recommend. read more

I'm here on vacation and lost my contacts. I have literally been to a dozen places between Carlsbad and Santa Fe, with no luck, until Cheyenne came to my rescue. Contact prescription filled and now I can enjoy the last week of my vacation with clear vision. read more

Really like the staff, very nice polite and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I went on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy. They helped me select my glasses with the right prescription and once done they had my computer glasses ready within 25 minutes. If you do mind waiting on weekend just go on weekdays. Getting my glasses right away after my prescription, that never happened to me before... Se habla español también read more

Dont bring your old frames here for new lenses. I brought my old glasses to the store and paid for new lenses, which they said wasnt a problem. When they installed the new lenses it bowed my glasses out to where they would slide off my face. They blamed it on the frames which is fine, but they said they were able to replace the lenses and never told me this might be an issue. They would also not give me a credit towards new frames and lenses so I ended up with a pair of unusable glasses with 250 dollar lenses. 0 stars read more

Nothing wrong with the glasses...but unless you have hours to wait...find somewhere else. They are understaffed and working so slow to up sell each customer that just picking up your glasses that are ready can take a really long time. Hope they can hire more or streamline how they work with customers. read more

The lenses for my glasses popped out of the frames. I had just had them repaired by another optometrist in town that cost me $85 and took 3 weeks and somehow they didn't manage to tighten the frames to keep the lenses in. Anyway, I took them to Eyemart Express, one of the clerks asked me what I wanted about 10 minutes after walking in. She took them to the back and 2 minutes later brought them back, with the lenses in place, and she didn't charge me anything! read more

I like working with this company. Good customer Service. Works well with Medicare.

I was in Santa Fe for a few days and since I lost my glasses I decided to stop by and get a new frame . Debbie was the person who helped me. She was great. Helped me pick a frame and I even ended up having my optometrist's office in California fax them my current prescription. I didn't buy designer frames . They cost a fortune and I don't care for name brands anyway. So I got a new pair of glasses in 2 days without paying LA prices. Thanks Debbie for all your help! read more

I broke my glasses beyond repair, and needed a new prescription with same day eyeglass service in Santa Fe.. A friend suggested Eyemart. In an adjacent office to the eyewear store, Dr. Alex Corwin and her OD Tech are to be commended for thorough, professional service. Got my eyeglass prescription and a very pleasant, expedient optician to boot. This is the BEST trip for glasses I've ever had in my lifetime. Yes, the visit was pleasant and the cost of the glasses w/ insurance was $44. Naturally, I got some bells/whistles added to my bifocal order, but my grand total was only $90.99. No, I didn't want 2nd set glasses free. Go over there. Money saver and superb service!!! read more

It appeared they were short staffed. There were only two technicians. One technician disappeared and the other one kept asking if anyone was picking up. Those picking up went ahead of me. After 45 minutes, I walked out. I just needed new lenses in the same frame. Short staffed or not, help people in the order they came in-especially if it is walk in only. I will not be back. read more

I love the costumer service! I would definitely recommend! The manager was a sweetheart for sure kindest person out there!

My experience with this company might be described as a series of unfortunate events, yet, by virtue of the store manager, I ended up with 2 pairs of no line bifocals for less than 90 bucks. That's an unbeatable bargain. So, I broke my glasses and needed a new pair. The store lab produced 3 pairs of glasses that were unacceptable. Every eyeglass lens has a "sweet spot" which must be placed precisely in front of the pupil. If the sweet spot is off more than a few degrees, vision is compromised. The store lab got this sweet spot wrong 3 times in a row. The store manager personally intervened and saw to it the glasses were made right. Yelp reviews reveal my experience as unique, everyone seemed satisfied with their eyeglasses, so perhaps the lab was having a bad day. Whatever the case, I am thankful to store manager for making things right. read more

Great service and really kind staff. However, wholly understaffed. There was a huge line of people waiting go get service from two employees. I waited about 45 minutes to get my glasses fixed. No shame on the great women working the floor. They were respectful, polite, and knowledgeable. Not sure if I would return if I had a lot to do that day tho read more

I traveled to Santa Fe for a weekend and had to halt the plans for the day because my eyeglasses broke. Joe Pat Romero was able to help me within minutes and get me on my way. He was extremely courteous and helpful. This is a great place. read more

We went in to pick up some glasses. We bought 2 pairs and one was crooked on my sons face so we asked if the man there would adjust them. He took the pair and started twisting the glasses. I am his step Mom and I said I thought you were supose to use heat first? The man didn't like my question and in a mean tone told me he had worked there 7 years and knew what he was doing. I was annoyed by his tone and his rudeness so I just left and waited for my son in our car. After I left the man had the nerve to make a snide remark to my son about me. I mean really? My son contronted him and told him basically he was being rude about his step mom. It esculated from there with a few words back and forth and this man told my son to leave. My son asked for his glasses and the man threw them on the floor. Quite shocking the poor customer service. This man should not work with people, so rude. I heard the owner is nice, she helped my son before but this employee was shockingly bad. read more

They have the best customer service. All employees are very kind and very good at there job. This is the third place I came to trying to get some replacement glasses after losing them while swimming and a replacement was made in less then an hour. A special thank you to the man, the myth, the legend Steven. He was very helpful and very kind. He was very busy but made time to help me and I appreciate it very much. read more

Great service from Ernestine and Steven! They helped to resolve a mistake in the prescription from my eye doctor. I couldn't ask for better service! My son broke his glasses the day before school started. I went to get glasses about 4:30 and although there was a little wait and I was finally helped about 5 with an open house for my sons school at 5:30. She was very helpful and attentive to my needs and helped get me out in time for the open house. Ernestine was very pleasant and made sure I had my son's glasses ready for my son's first day. Bilingual & Fastest service in Santa Fe. Called the doctor (next door) and he gave me an appointment for same day and Eyemart Express had my parents glasses made within 30 min after we stopped by. My parents only speak Spanish so having Lupita helping was a blessing. Also, even-though i went there due to time constrains (needed my dad's glasses same day) i compared prices after the fact, and they were the most reasonable priced in both frames and crystals. TOTALLY recommended. read more

Walked into the store and the greeting was so so, asked them if they accepted my insurance which is a pretty common insurance for vision (VSP) and was told that they did. After calling with my id # the lady came back to inform me that they accept my insurance but that I was out of network and the benifits were limited to what I could use which is cool I understand that however they could have told me this over the phone when I called prior to going in. The customer service was poor and I left there feeling frustrated! So there really is not any thing nice i can say. read more

Great customer service! They replaced the lenses and frames for my daughter's broken eyewear that were under warranty in less than 30 minutes. Thank you Miranda for all your help! Greatly appreciated! read more

It's just ok. People are nice but be prepared to wait. It takes forever, and it is not because they are short-staffed. I went to pick up my glasses and it took 40 minutes!! I didn't leave because I already pay for them. They do have a sign up sheet so they can keep an order when people get there. But the funny thing is that they don't follow it. I told one of the ladies that I was ahead the people they were calling and she just replied 'No problem, you are next'. Guess what, they keep calling people that arrived behind me. read more

Walked in very confused and despite everyone being busy was greeted immediately and shown where I needed to be. The front desk woman (I didn't catch her name) was very sweet. Dr. Muncey was very kind and patient. Vanessa helped me find the perfect frames for me and explained what I should look for in a pair of glasses. I'm very happy with my experience there and I recommend this place if you are on a budget and desperately need glasses read more

Go somewhere else unless you are willing to deal with gross incompetence. I've been here three times in the past 14 months, receiving lousy service 90% of the time. Most recently, I ordered glasses and asked them to be shipped. I received a notification 10 days ago notifying me that they were ready. When I didn't receive them after one week, I called to check the status and was told that had already been mailed. Three days later, still no glasses so I called again. First person who answered was clueless, telling me a manager would call tomorrow. When I called back and spoke to someone else I was told that the glasses were still there! Apparently they were NEVER mailed Bad service, dishonesty and incompetence at its absolute worst! NO STARS ARE DESERVED! read more

50+ years of wearing glasses and Eyemart is the greatest. Best prices ever! My technician Liz was excellent in helping me with frames and processing my order. Absolutely the best experience. I had lost my glasses on a trip and needed glasses ASAP. The particular combination of type of lenses and coatings was going to take 10 days, but Vanessa convinced the manager to make me a temporary pair in 1/2 an hour at NO cost. Then when my lenses with the special coating come in, they will put them in the frame, once again at no additional charge. The whole process was so smooth and we didn't have to wait at all to be served. read more

I recently went to Eyemart Express in Santa Fe for a new pair of glasses. The store was filled with customers but only 1 sales person was available. After watching several potential customers exit in disgust, I went to the office where the manager was sitting at a computer. I asked if he could help and he yelled "No I cannot." No apology, nothing. I would go anywhere rather than this company for glasses when they are incapable of proper staffing and have managers totally lacking in customer service skills. read more
