When I walked in this store just to get some information about the plan, the manager, Casey was very nice and friendly to explain it. He was patient and good at explaining clearly. My case was very difficult because my phone screen was blacked out. Couldn't do anything that required to do with screen. Carey was creative and knowledgeable to try all sorts of problem solving. My whole family had to go to the store almost 4 days straight. He want above and beyond to help not with patience, only with my family, but my 84 years old mother in law to go though the process. Do not go to this store ! The sales people are crooks and liars!!! they basically stole my iPhone 12 Pro Max told me I could try the 14 plus if I didn't like it better I could have my old phone back I went back the next day and they told me that was a lie and my old phone was gone . Now after two years of monthly payments on a phone of equal value as the one they stole they want 400$ for me to pay off my phone and end the contract when the phone sells for 370 on eBay . On Monday of this week, I went to the store,, which is close to where I live, to purchase some air buds for my iPhone. The man behind the counter, a young man of perhaps 28 or so, was blatantly rude, disrespectful, and was of no help. Truthfully, he seemed to be high and I left very dissatisfied. I stopped in to this store earlier in the week to have my phone switched over from T-Mobile. After the transfer was performed I wasn't able to receive texts or calls for a couple of days, which is obviously incredibly inconvenient. The employee who originally helped me didn't verify that it was transferred properly (I later found out that he was using the wrong number to test if the phone was registered on the network) and sent me on my way. He also sprang a surprise $40 charge on me at the end for his "services". Before returning to the store I tried calling Verizon multiple times to see what the issue could be but their customer service said everything looked fine on their end and that I probably just needed to restart my phone or keep waiting for the transfer to finish. After multiple restarts and waiting over 24 hours I went back to the store to see if I could find the guy who helped me originally but was informed that he had the day off. I was also told that it would be much better for the original person to help me and that I should come back the next day. Instantly recognizing the brush-off attempt, I told him that he should also be able to help me since he works for the same company and I'm already in the store. He seemed annoyed by this but I really needed my phone working so I kept pushing it. Eventually he was able to show me some page that showed that my number port had failed and that he couldn't do anything more for me. Then he just walked away to talk to some other people that had walked in without saying a word to me. At least I knew what the issue was now, so I was able to call Verizon and get it resolved for myself. I just wish it hadn't taken so much arm twisting to get this information. I found out from Verizon today that this is actually not a Verizon corporate store, they're a reseller, so do yourself a favor and go to the actual corporate store instead. read more

I showed up 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time. Someone answered the door and told me that he had been "working for like five hours" and told me he wouldn't be able to honor the appointment. (5/25/23) I've come to this store several times in the past few weeks and no one is working during the "open" hours. Super shady business. Won't be back. Update: went to the Verizon store at the village and found out how easy and transparent getting a new phone can be. After the Victra Verizon SR store experience, I went to the village and got a better deal than I was expecting on my phone. Ended up upgrading my sons too. This reviews pertains to Verizon service and not this specific location. May this serve as a warning to the nightmares I can promise you from Verizon if you ever try to reduce your service. They will keep you in a chat session or phone call forever hoping you will just give up. They will even disconnect you to avoid you cancelling any aspect of your service. They will ask you the same security questions over and over again. They will lie and mislead you about their promotions hoping you won't ask them questions that will reveal their sleaziness. They will refuse to escalate your call to someone who could actually help you. Or you can just consider using another provider who hopefully is less evil. read more

Sunday afternoon1/28/2023. my SIM card for my iPhone disappeared. vanished into the Ethernet. My phone would not make outgoing calls. the young lady who helped me was knowledgeable, polite and quick. I kind of suspected that I'd just get a sales person with no knowledge but was I pleasantly surprised. Great job. She figured out some other problems that Verizon threw at her after installing a SIM card with out blinking an eye. I should have gotten her name. She deserves a raise. read more

I have been with Verizon for over 13 years, the company used to be great. Recently they have become stone cold liars, and they make promises, and the next day break them with no remorse!! They even admit they made the promise! I've never seen a professional company act like these negligent irresponsible conmen / women. This happened twice to me... so I am running away from this greedy non-flexible giant. Had the worst experience with the 4th St. Verizon store. The manager, assured me my plan wouldn't change when I bought a new phone but not only did it go up $15. he added insurance even though I told him several times I didn't want insurance. Then he told me I couldn't pay off my phone for 31 days even though a phone agent told me I could have. And then to add insult to injury he added a "redux single" charge of $29.99 to my bill which is insurance to cover your phone in case it gets wet without asking or telling me what it was. The new manager, Ben was incredibly unhelpful and seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He jumped to help another customer instead of me it felt racially motivated. My husband and I bought three new phones and upgraded our service. Kristalyne and Mareyanna were so helpful. It was difficult to upgrade all my data to a new phone. They were so patient and spent so much time with us. They also saved us money and our new "unlimited service" is much better than what we had before. They sold me expensive liquid glass protector that was supposedly guaranteed not to crack. It cracked and then you can't take it off like you would a normal screen protector and just replace it. you have to pay $350 to replace the entire screen. They are not a real Verizon store just an affiliate and they don't really know what they're doing. I would not buy a phone here again. They are rude and it takes forever to get anything done. But they are happy to sell you lots of accessories and basically lie to you. I wish I had gone to the Verizon store in Corte Madera and do not pay $70 for liquid glass protection. when I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was rudely told by the manager that he was going to lunch and that I should come back another time. Instead, I waited for 45 minutes for him to go to lunch and come back. ( bad call, should have walked away then ) Then I proceeded to spend the next two hours dealing with getting a new phone and service. Which he was unable to successfully do before the end of his shift. I then needed to return to the store the next day to continue dealing with my phone... which took a total of five additional hours at the store. Wish I'd never walked into that store. read more

This location is under new management! My family and I followed Zachary from Coddingtown to 4th street. Zack is a trusting salesman and very knowledgeable. His employees, Noemi and Ed are respectable people and are constantly greeting customers when they walked in. I came in because of an issue with my dad's family plan. The system messed up on our account and decided to double charge us. They jumped on this issue right away and resolved it for us. After my tech savvy husband told me my Droid Maxx was old, I decided to use his old phone instead. My choices were, go to Corte Madera and stand in line for hours in what I imagine a cell phone prison is like, or, walk to this Verizon store on 4th Street in San Rafael. I was so happy to get wonderful service from Dominic at the store on 4th Street. He switched out my Sim Card and made sure all my contacts were intact. He was friendly and pleasant. I got to keep my old phone number.There were three people working in this location. Two lead guys and a certified technition in the back. There was no line and I was very happy with the service. I think Dominic should be given a promotion. He is the face of Verizon and embodies the kind of quiet confidence people respond well to. Thanks for the great service! read more

And just wanted to write a 2nd review .. and update to my first. I contacted a Victra Executive via LinkedIn. He put me in contact with the Regional/District Manager for the Bay Area. The problem was immediately resolved. So if you have any issues within the store .. go up a level or two and you will find someone who is knowledgeable and committed to customer service. I wish that I had not wasted time dealing within the store, but rather gone immediately "upwards." Two "Night and Day" experiences, based on which I would again choose to deal. read more

I just spent over another hour speaking with the yet another Verizon Corporate store representative, not Clickaway. As Clickaway is not a Verizon store, Verizon Corporate and the customer are at the mercy of the Clickaway store for issuing a refund. I have a video tape of me returning the tablet that arrived a month or so late, and the Clickaway rep inspecting the package, because I suspected something inept and/or unethical going on, and I am still being charged for the tablet. The Verizon Corporate reps are very polite and doing their best, but they have no power over Clickaway Verizon. They informed me that the charges will continue to be billed to me, even though there are extensive notes from conversations with Clickaway that my tablet has indeed been returned. Verizon corporate stated that I will continue to be billed until the Clickaway store completes the proper policies and procedures for issuing a refund. Without that, Verizon corporate can/will do nothing. It does seem that this leaves an enormous vulnerable spot for a corporation, to have no recourse for the inept practices of an authorized reseller of their products and services. I received a cut and pasted email via Yelp from a Clickaway Supervisor named Mike (With a picture and beginning of the email from a woman named Heather). I replied to her/him/them, with no results. It seems more like they are trying to give the impression that they tried to help but couldn't contact the customer, and this will preserve their Yelp rating rather than taking care of the customer. I predict they will respond to this with a stock photo of a fictitious manager named Heather, stating that they tried to contact me but couldn't reach me. read more

The first time was a pleasant experience, where the salesman took a great deal of time to listen to me and be sure of my needs, walk me through my options in a nice, low-pressure way - such a pleasant difference from the "circling sharks" at the corporate Corte Madera store. I did learn though that this store is a "third-party" business, and that the Verizon corporate stores have more selection and options. Still, I decided to come back and give this store my business when I was ready to sign up. The second time was this morning. I arrived shortly before 11 AM, to find the store locked and dark. Posted hours, on the door, said it opens at 9AM. I have very little spare time during the day. It was frustrating to take the time out only to find the place closed. I do hope that's not a normal state of affairs. I would really prefer to deal with them. read more

I had tried to update my Google security settings online, and it locked my phone out! I tried every password I could think of, and nothing worked. I went to Verizon, and Edward Hofacher called Google and Samsung until the problem had been resolved. Google had sent a message that so many attempts had been made to unlock my phone that if I put in one more wrong password that my ENTIRE google account would be wiped out! ALL my pictures (over 18k of them!) my phone would be set to factory settings, I would have lost all my contact, and my gmail account would be deleted, losing all my emails and addresses. In other words, life as I know it would come to an end. i would have to move to Amish country. Edward really saved my life, he stuck with the phone calls until the problems were solved! GO see him if you have any phone issues at all! read more

I just exchanged my old blackberry phone for a new model. Beacuse I am a guy, I didn't read any of the directions and now have a programming issue. Shopping is my least favorite activity. But if all shops were as good as EVO2 in San Rafael, I might become a shopping addict. EVO2 is simply the best retail outlet I've ever visited--in any category. I needed a smartphone for my business (an online movie festival). Having decided to get an iPhone, I could have gone to the Apple store, but because Verizon provides the best service in rural W. Marin, I thought I thought I'd give the Verizon shop a try. I speculated that I'd get more personal service there than at the Apple store. Brilliant decision on my part. I was greeted warmly by the manager Britton, who is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and efficient. He was interested in my situation--what I was getting the phone for. I came in intending to buy the high end (most expensive) iPhone, but Britton explained that for my purposes I could do just as well with a less pricy model. He saved me a couple of hundred dollars right there. Britton helped me choose the accessories I needed, and transferred my account from AT&T--a chore that I thought I'd have to do. While he was waiting on me, a returning customer stopped by to pick up a power cord, and he got the same quick and friendly service that I was enjoying. I had a dozen technical questions, some of which must have sounded naive to Britton. But he's a natural teacher, and he made me feel that helping me was the most important and pleasant task he could have. As I was leaving the store, Britton invited me to return any time if I had questions about using the smartphone. read more

Michael is a cell phone god! I challenge you to find anyone in the industry that is more knowledgeable patient and hard-working than Michael. Not to get into the specifics just to say I had multiple problems with my account none of which was his fault, but all of which he fixed for me. I'm a small business owner in San Anselmo and I would hire this guy to work with me tomorrow if you'd say yes. Only advice I would give folks is walk in with a little patience because they can be busy in a retail establishment but the wait is worth it!! read more

This store found out I had an issue, and solved it for me. Not only that they were happy to help me, and never made me feel like I was taking up to much of their time. (I was there for around two hours, trying to solve my issues). The people working there honestly seemed to care about each other, and their customers. They recognized customers who came in, greeted them by name, and the customers seemed to be excited to be there. (No joke!). Thanks guys for fixing my issues, and helping me get my mom a phone for Christmas! I will now be going to you guys for everything phone related. This place is a no brainer. Go there - get your phone fixed fast and cheap! I cannot believe how great of an experience it was to use them. My Samsung S4 screen was shattered. I called and they said they needed me to come in so they could see what needed to be done. I came in, they had the part and charged me $50 less than the competition. But the best part was they fixed the phone in 20 min and most others wanted to hold on to it for 2 to 4 hours. read more
