Customers rely on those descriptions when making purchasing decisions. Seeing that immediately made me question the inspection process and naturally led me to ask about authentication. The conversation that followed was even more concerning. When I asked what would happen if a bag later turned out not to be authentic, I was told it wouldn't be returnable. That response honestly stunned me. Authenticity is the entire reason many of us choose to shop with a company like The RealReal rather than buying from a private seller. Just as importantly, the person I spoke with seemed unable to clearly explain the authentication process or stand behind it with confidence. Luxury resale is built on trust.
