The second jacket, picture attached, was gently worn 4 times before it shredded in TWO places in the back of the jacket. After being out town most of August I returned the jacket on Labor Day to the store requesting that the owner give me a call. That Saturday I receive a US Postal bag with the jacket and the attached letter suggesting that my purse ruined the jacket that I should find a seamstress who might be able to repair it. The evening the jacket shredded, I was hosting a catered dinner party at my home and didn't even have a purse near it. Is this what customer service is today? It will be a long time, if ever, before that store sees me again.

Business was slow upon my arrival on a weekday. It's a beautiful store. They gave me great service. I was able to find these really cute jeans in my size, that were an additional 50% off, although final sale. Their sale rack was very organized, and very plentiful. There was a whole room full of tops, and two racks of jeans. There were even more random sale items throughout the store, not in the sale section. I was quite surprised. I waited in line twice, once to return, and once to buy my jeans. Neither wait was long at all - just one person ahead of me, quite quick. I don't know why this store such poor reviews, because I had a pleasant experience here!

In any case, I'm just influencer level, but I was gifted lots of nice discounts and samples; including $10 for the ZBar and $15 towards cosmetics. Then I was a member of The Trunk. Now I am considering the option to have Nordstrom brought to my home so I can try and buy things without going to the physical location. Stonestown and downtown SF used to be my primary stores. Now it's Corte Madera. This store is so well stocked, I almost never hear "I can order it online". I enjoy the instant gratification of taking my purchases home with me on the same day. The majority of my wardrobe was purchased at Nordstrom. I am a loyalist. I walked in explained I did not have my receipt but I should be in the system as I was part of the rewards program. The first assistant could not be bothered what so ever . She half heartedly attempted to enter my email in her system but was unable to find me in her system. She was very rude and basically said she was unable to help me without my receipt . The second assistant was very helpful and willing to help me and work with me and she was able to locate me in the system. She said it would be totally fine for me to exchange the faulty jeans for a new pair in store. After finding a pair that were comfortable she came back to the fitting room and said I could no longer exchange the faulty jeans. They could patch them up for me ! A multi million dollar company is offering a patch up service on faulty jeans. This was the decision from the store manager at this branch who was sadly like a robot. No customer support and just a very lame Attitude to me as the customer. This store is possibly the worst experience I have ever come across in my entire life. To be saying one thing to a customer then only to retract the decision was highly unprofessional and totally sub standard. Madewell in Corte Madera turned out to be a shopping nightmare.
