Every year I look forward to coming to this little shop and every year I am surprised by the treatment received while paying a million dollars for clothes my kids will wear a few times.. This year, it felt as if every question was exasperating to the staff. If their eyes could talk, I'm pretty sure they would say, "why are you speaking to me right now?" I love Tantrum especially because you can find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts that you could not get at a box store. It's always so much fun stepping into Tantrum, so whimsical.

As I entered the store the workers started staring at me and no one would greet me. There was about five employees working at the time. The cashier gave me a dirty look. As I was looking around the store the employees continued to stare at me, like i wasn't welcome there. Finally a employee came up and asked if i needed help finding anything, when she came up to me all the other employees were watching me to see my reaction. I feel i was being judged by how i was dressed at the time. I just left the gym before coming in to the store and was wearing sweatpants and tank top. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but as I walk in the store, customer service was lacking luster. The tone changed after we've expressed interest in buying stuff , and there was finally the customer service that I thought should have been rendered to every person that has the will to enter their store.
