DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS!! They lied to me and told me my address was serviceable for their 5g internet box but used a random address to confirm. Told me it was 50$ a month for 5g 100mbps. I check my bill and I've been paying 150 for only 20mbps bc my address only lets me have 20mbps. They lied to me and I signed a contract under false pretenses. I called corporate just to be told they won't do anything cause I signed a contract. I can't even switch providers without paying thousands just to get out of the contract. Won't be surprised if there's a class action lawsuit against them in the future. If you want to pay for services you won't ever receive then go ahead and choose Verizon. read more

I lost my phone and as a result couldn't call a Uber and had to walk several miles to the nearest Verizon. All I wanted to do was buy a phone so I could get a Uber home and move on with my life. I'll get straight to the point. These folks are predators and will lie to you. I opted to buy a $500 phone outright and she said I could get the Pixel 7 a $700 phone for $350 because of my status as a loyal customer. Well that sounded great and I was chomping at the bit to finally buy a phone after waiting for a good hour and a half in the store. Well, she lied. I should have known it was a lie but I would have believed anything at that point. Long story short it was the full $700 with $130 monthly price tag. It's a nice phone. I like it and this occurred about a month ago but I didn't feel right not saying something. She put on a screen protector that I asked her not to put on and she did it anyway. Another charge. It was among the quickest and easiest experiences I've had, however, the reason why they only get a 2* here is due to the fact, that as someone who has been in the Wireless sales business and knows how they add accessories and claim it to be coupons, is due to the rep flat out lying to my face about how it works to get the "free" case and "free" screen protector. Even after I pointed out how it works, and my prior experience, the young man continued to deny it. Came in today because my iPhone died out of nowhere the night before, apparently it's a problem with iPhone 13s. I upgraded to the new phone, the lady said because I was paying off the balance on my old phone that my monthly would actually decrease. Additionally, I could get a "free" Apple Watch if I committed to paying $5/month for the service for 3 years. I confirmed 4/5 times that the service fee was monthly and I was not amortizing the watch. She said that my bill would increase net by $1. A few hours later I got a receipt for the watch $340 to be amortized over 3 years AND a $15/month watch service fee. Additionally, my bill went up more than $50/month. She would not show me any of the numbers on the screen and just verbally confirmed with me. I've spend the last 90 minutes on the phone with Verizon customer service. This is all so deceptive, I will be returning everything and switching to a different carrier. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWFUL. Called ahead of time to have a phone put on hold for an upgrade for the iPhone 13 pro. The associates of this Verizon did not communicate and sold the phone when we got there, which we called 20 minutes before we arrived which was at 5:20, our arrival at 5:40. The young lady with brunette hair and glasses, rudely ignored us as we entered. Until finally asking us what assistance we needed, we then told her about calling ahead and having the phone out on hold. She then proceeded to tell us the associate she was on shift with did not communicate with her that the phone was on hold so she sold it. I am not at all upset at the young lady but APPALLED by the extreme lack of customer service and severe lack of communication. Advice for anybody looking to be proactive with getting or trading in a new device. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

After countless disappointing encounters with different Verizon and/or Go Wireless associates I finally met Ben (who is now stuck with me/us). I have followed him from his previous store (down the street from my house) to this location (NO WHERE NEAR my house) and I regret nothing. Wow, that sounded kind of stalker'ish but when you know you have something golden you hang on to it. Like how Buffalo Bill tried to do with that chick in the well. I just got home from visiting this store and I'm very unhappy with the service here. The lady I spoke with talked down at me and was very unhelpful. I was hoping to switch from AT&T to Verizon, but after this crappy customer service, no thanks!! She didn't offer me any flyer or written info. She just orally explained this and that. I specifically asked about the family plan and she only bothered to tell me about their most expensive individual plan with unlimited everything. I don't need all that. She's not listening!!! Came in to pick up a phone where the deal/price/line was agreed with Verizon corporate. Brought my trade-in phone a few weeks later, and turns out they didn't activate the trade-in deal or even let corporate Verizon know I had got a new phone to adjust credits/payments accordingly. When I came to return my phone, the manager said he was new, and so we needed to negotiate a new deal for the phone/line I had agreed to weeks ago. At a cost of hundreds of dollars more. Verizon customer service was able to fix it. But also said the store did not process as they should have, and spending hours on the phone would not have been necessary if they had done what they were supposed to. Totally shady. While I was there, they also had the email addresses and passwords of customers on post it notes in full view of anyone standing at the counter. Highly recommend changing your password if you've trusted them with your information lately! read more

Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with this GoWireless location. The customer service at this location is horrible. I ordered a smart watch on Thursday 10/31. The guy who helped me told me it would be two days for the watch to come in. He said at the latest it would be in on Monday 11/4. I could have gone to another location, but thought I am not in a super hurry. The next day my tracking number from FedEx came via email. Instead of being delivered on 11/4 it was not going to get there until 11/5. The FedEx tracking number said it was delivered at 12:53pm on 11/5. I never heard from the sales rep at GoWireless. At 5:30pm on 11/5 I called the location to see if my watch had arrived. The manager told me she just got the package 20 minutes ago and that the sales rep was not there that day so because of that I would have not received a phone call. I thought to myself what kind of customer service is this! I asked the manager how long it would take for the watch to be set up tonight. I thought they are open until 8pm and its only 5:30pm. She said it could not be set up until Thursday 11/7 because neither her nor the sales rep would be in until then. She said she could find out if her Assistant Manager would be in tomorrow. I told her I am busy tomorrow so I guess I would have to wait until Thursday. I then proceeded to explain my level of frustration with the situation and that her sales rep and herself were not providing good customer service. The tone of her voice said to me that she did not care. She had mentioned she was leaving for the day which is why she could not set the watch up tonight if I came by. So, I feel her tone was related to the fact that she wanted to leave for the day. Not only did her tone say that she did not care but she did not offer any level of empathy. I can not believe I was silly enough to go into this location again after the last bad experience I had. Last time I was in, I ordered a screen protector for my phone. That was about a year ago. Guess what... nobody has called me to let me know that it is in yet! LOL! I guess Thursday will be the last day I do business with this location. I want the watch I ordered. I have worked in sales and customer service for over 20 years. This is not how you treat someone. Because I downloaded an app through Google and couldn't get rid of it in spite I tried so many ways. I was very frustrated. Bought the the new IPhone 13 at their store. The sale clerk offered to transfer the information from my old phone to the new phone and I said yes thinking this was part of their customer service. Was not aware there was fee for this service. Also said they only sell phones with screen protector so I figured why not I was going to purchase one anyway. The salesclerk added other products to my overall purchase including a "liquid glass" screen protector. Tried to return the unopened package of "liquid glass" and they refused. Asked to speak to the manager and the sales team said the manager would call me back. Never heard from the manager and went back to the store to inquire. No response. So I came here to get a new contract and wanted to get the iPhone 5. Not only did they want me to pay for the iPhones but at regular price No way! Are they nuts?! I could have just got my phones at the other location for $200 per line. Why would I pay regular price and sign a 2 yr contract?? I politely said no thank you and left. The customer service here is HORRIBLE. My family wanted to upgrade to the new iPhone 11 from our old phones; when the Assistant Manager was transferring data, some of the data was missing on the new phone. The whole process took at least 3 hours+ and she was trying to up sell us to buy the unlimited data plan but to do so you need to apparently put auto-pay on and give them direct access to your bank account, I found that kind of fishy. When we were checking out, the assistant manager said that we needed to buy something to offset the cost of the set-up fee; had to spend $20 on pop-sockets (which my family didn't even need) to save $10. After the set up we happily had our phones and less than an half hour of having them, the Assistant Manager called saying that the deal she gave us expired 2 days ago and that we needed to pay $800 more AFTER we already payed for our new phones, got the receipt and left the store. The following day, my dad had to head over to the store to get our old phones back (they threw our cases away) and he had to deal with them for over 3 hours AGAIN to transfer the data from our new phones back to our old phones (we decided to just go to the Apple store to get the iPhones), and I'm pretty sure they purposely deleted all the data from my dad's phone (all his contacts, voice memos, message, photos, etc., LITERALLY EVERYTHING) as everyone else still had their data. Don't go to this place, go somewhere else. My family has been a customer of Verizon for 20 years+ and we have never experienced such shitty customer service. Oh another thing, while we were dealing with this, the manager left for the day and one of the employees went to go get food during work hours which seems very unprofessional. read more

Antonia from the Sacramento location committed fraud by ordering a phone on my Verizon account without my consent! On 8/16/2020 I went to Go Wireless as a Verizon retailer. I wanted to add a line and have a phone I already owned turned on for the new line. Antonia kept pushing me to buy a phone telling me the phone was free with the adding of the new line. After checking stock, she said they did not have the phone, but then she called the Florin store and said the phone would be here in 1-2 days. The truth was the Florin store also did not have the phone so she illegally went into my Verizon account and ordered the phone without my consent and had it shipped to their location. I realized this when I received a text message from Verizon that the phone was being sent to me via Fed Ex but deleivery was set to their address. I immediately called her and she that she told me Florin did not have the phone and that I agreed to have her order it for me, but both my grand daughter and me know that is NOT the truth! I reported it to her manager, and he could have cared less. His name is Ryan. Both Ryan and Antonia are responsible for allowing this fraud to continue since nothing was done to remedy the situation. Antonia also told me that wasn't true and offered to bring a Verizon customer service rep on a three way call, but then she obtained my pin number and kept me on hold while she talked to him without me on the line. She is worthless! I am contacting Verizon to try to have them removed as an authorized dealer. read more

I love this Verizon! Every time I walk in (about 4 time over the last 3 yrs) the staff is available, willing to help and very knowledgeable. This store gets busy but i've never had to wait and there is ample parking. They are great problem solvers, wont stop until they fix the issue. This is one of the last Verizon stores that still has the machine that will move all the contacts/data between phones - major plus! The accessories are a little pricy but they will put on the screen covers and all that for you. I wish this store was in my city! read more

Just want to give a huge shout out to 3 Verizon Wireless ALLSTARS that are at this location and this review is just based on my experience with the employees at this location. Corey (District Manager) - Ryan (store manager) and James. I came in on Monday trying to transfer my Xfinity mobile service to Verizon. It was a nightmare because I didn't realize that Xfinity hasn't unlocked my phone yet. Corey went above and beyond trying to solve the issue. He remained calm, cool and collected the entire time. He never got irritated at how long the process took, and wanted to make sure that my first experience with Verizon was a good one, despite the issues we were having transferring the service. Corey made things happen, and never tried to make excuses or pawn me off on someone else. He kept Ryan up to date on what was going on, and he was a huge help! I went back in with a porting question and talked to James. James was incredibly helpful, customer service oriented and helpful. The customer service at this location has gone above and beyond any expectation I would have, especially considering the issues I was having with my mobile device! Way to go guys! He again stated it was mandatory and that I couldn't buy a phone without it. I know that these places are always going to try and soak you and give you the whole high pressure thing, but I didn't expect them to flat out rip me off. I came in to see what deals I could get if I switched to Verizon from AT&T. The guy was kinda high pressure and talked me into getting a phone they had in stock that I didn't want because he said they were the only place that would get me a $650 rebate. Well it turns out that you only get UP TO $650 for switching IF you owe money on your old phone, and had early termination fees - which I didn't. Later that day I read the rebate details online and called back to return the phone because I saw that it didn't look like I'd be getting anywhere near $650 and the guy on the phone said I was guaranteed to get at least like $400 back. So I kept the phone. Now two months later i find out Verizon is only giving me $95.00. DON'T GO HERE! read more
