I went in today to find out about upgrading my phone and I couldn't get anyone to help me, even though there were five or so employees just leaning against the front counter and talking to one another. When I finally did get some help, the "sales person" didn't try to sell me anything.! He just answered my three or four guestions rather abruptly and then went back to talking to his co-workers. I really felt as though I was an inconvenience. I then remembered that I had a similar experience three years earlier and so I just walked out. If it was up to me i would give them 0 stars, Something Very Odd happened where my phone wasn't showing any details on My verizon account besides that it was on there what kind of phone and anything else was not coming up. I called *611 and explained that my phone had a cracked screen and i would like to get it replaced. they said that they can't see the phone and even said that i didn't buy the phone from Verizon even though i am still making payments on the phone to Verizon! :) sure no problem at all, then came back and said call the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they advised me that the phone isn't showing up and to call verizon back and see what is going on? I called Verizon again and they still couldn't see any info and they were like there is no insurance which i thought was odd since i had insurance so i told to add the insurance back on anyways not sure why it fell off mind you i am paying $250 a month for unlimited plan for 2 phones and i have been with Verizon for 14 Years and i always had Insurance on all my phones. they couldn't answer me. and Advised that i walk in the store to get the phone info Verified in their system. as soon as i got off the phone with customer service the phone had no service wouldn't make or receive calls Very strange by then this had taken enough of my time so i said i'll just wait till i go to the store first thing in the morning to deal with it and they'll be able to explain to me the consumer why that happened and that Verizon isn't just wasting my time I showed up to the store exactly at 10. i walked in and was immediately greeted by an associate, the AA then verified that in fact the phone isn't showing up and couldn't give me a reason as to why it wasn't he then Replaced my Sim card go the phone to work again then told me that the phone was under insurance and i should be all good. I LEFT the store and called the insurance company where they said no you were not covered when the screen was broken and to go back to Verizon and figure out what happened from from June 2017 bc that was the last thing they can see in their system for insurance on the device. SOOO!!! I WENT BACK to Verizon to find out what happened!! I get there and they had an Automatic Attitude as to what i was insinuating when i told them it was your problem Fix IT. they said you never had insurance and there is nothing i can do for you even though the insurance company just informed me that i did and it was Disconnected for some odd reason. He then said the only thing you can do it to call customer service because there is nothing i can do for you which is hilarious given the fact that this was a Corporate store. and not just an authorized dealer. i said Fine i talked to Verizon on the phone while i was still there again with the Attitude from the Rep and like i was crazy to say something went wrong with your system so fix it. My father is a Vietnam veteran and was treated incredibly poorly here. The manager was rude to my father, told him he didn't speak Spanish, but then later relied to him in perfect Spanish. He then told my father "I'm not a translator I'm a manager" the manager lied to us about pricing.this was the worth customer experience my father has ever had in his 80 years. I was switching from T-mobile to Verizon with my family, and at first the customer reps were friendly at this Verizon store. When the guy started helping me, I asked him a few questions like, "How long have you been working here?" He responded, "8 months." The funny thing is, he told me the LG G2 at this store only had 16 gigs of memory but turns out their was 32 like I wanted after I checked the settings. It took over 2 and a half hours to get processed. This guy didn't even know how to transfer all my numbers over so I had to manually do it later. I was suppose to get a rebate on the phones and they actually filled everything out for me, but I got a card in the mail telling me I had to re-submit it. I stopped in to this corporate Verizon store to inquire about buying an item I needed for my Verizon iPad mini. I did not mind that they were not able to supply me with the simple item that I needed, what I did mind was how incredibly rude the manager (named Steve) was. Steve was rude, impetuous and deceitful. This really was the last thing I expected at a corporately owned Verizon Wireless Store. This was the first time I've been to this location but I've been to many others and have never had a poor experience before. It was just a terrible customer experience and Managers like Steve really do give Verizon a terrible reputation. My family and I have had Verizon almost 18 years and have become increasingly disappointed with it but this incident made my mind up to LEAVE VERIZON! I made an appt. And went to this store to look into buying a Samsung smart watch and since I know next to nothing about them other than what I've seen on many wrists I needed a lil guidance. When I walked into the store I was NOT IMPRESSED with the customer service that greeted me. No smile no hello no merry Christmas not even happy holiday just"what are you here for?" I waited and was seen by Mat I told him I was interested in the Samsung watch but I wanted to know more about it. And I wanted to look at different colors. He informs me he doesn't think he has a lot of different colors and I really wanted the brown with the gold face. He brought the brown only then proceeds to tell me I can't look at it because ther box can't be opened WTF!? Why bring it over? Then he "Oh it's already been opened so... well he opens it and I ask him if I can see the black one he then looks at me and asks "So who is this for, your mom?" I didn't answer "Is it for a man?" I said "Its a Christmas present why do you need to know who it's for?" I felt very uncomfortable he again asked me if it was for my man and I finally told him "NO it's not for my man it's for my wife!" And then he laughed and then proceeded to NOT tell me anything about the watch instead trying to talk me out of getting the brown one and getting the black one because"Black is beautiful" and even tho that is an absolutely true statement really dude? I told him we have Verizon and I did not under any circumstances want an email or text sent about this transaction he insisted he had to and a surprise doesn't have to be a surprise for her. WHAT!? I told him absolutely not! Please don't ruin the surprise. (Still hasn't told me ANYTHING about the watch) I told him I would buy the watch straight out and let her connect it to her phone herself he said "no can't do that that's not how this works." Well how would i know that you HAVEN'T TOLD ME ABOUT IT! Then he says i have to pay 10.00 a month forever if I get it. A this point I'm sick of him, the store and this stupid Samsung smart watch I STILL KNOW NOTHING ABOUT! Needless to say I told him I changed my mind and I left. Today ne AND my wife received a text message from MATT about my interest in the Verizon accessories and he was so happy to help me! ARE YOU SERIOUS!? He did that on purpose. I contacted the BBB to complain about the service at this specific retail branch location and within a day a "Real VZW CSR Agent" replied. They were very apologetic for the treatment we experienced and are reviewing my complaint submission. That is really all I can ask for at this point but I know all will turn out well. I have solid proof showing a CSR from that store over charged my parents up to an excess $700.00 within our latest 2 year contract. I have a paper which he wrote (in his own words) stating our service plans charges and specific plan details. Luckily, for some reason my step father saved it. I was then able to compare it to both a more recent and an older one. I found a big discrepancy of $26 - $34 per month (@18/mo.) plus the paper also states (2) $40 activation fees would be waived by store mgr. Fabian, but they absolutely were not. read more

This is a review of Verizon in general. If this location doesn't appreciate the bad press, they can take it up with their mother corporation. I just chatted with Verizon CS. Verizon is already expensive. They dropped the unlimited data so that my upgrade will make sure I have to pay WHAT I CURRENTLY PAY NOW for the lowest data limit, and of course more for anything beyond that. I was asking then "Why the $30 charge for upgrading?" since I'm already paying $200-300 for the "discounted" phone and then pricey monthly usage fees. The response: it helps support the device and users on the system. It helps keep costs down for our customers. I fail to see how any fee keeps costs down for me. Being a fee, it technically is an increased cost to me. The definition of oxymoronic I think. So, just to be clear, the $120 or more that is charged monthly does not go toward device or customer support. It is SOLELY for minutes, texts, and MBs. Support is separate. read more

Had the misfortune of going to this store and regretted it the second I did. Stood around with 2 other customers for 20 minutes and was not checked in nor even acknowledged. Meantime several employees were talking about their personal life with customers that had nothing to do with Verizon products. When the so called manager finally walked up to us he seemed bothered and asked a gentlemen that had just walked in how he could help them and did not speak to customers that had been there waiting for a longer time. When I asked him what's going on with his poor customer service and lack of attention to customers he again seemed bothered and said they are busy. I mentioned too busy to even acknowledge your customers and he said I'm checking people in now. I proceeded to turn and he said good you could leave the store. I had to go to the store because I didn't want to wait several days for a Phone case to get to me through the online shop. I waited for almost an hour, just to buy a miserable phone case! Quite frankly the reviews that this place has gotten is far from what I experienced. Every person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and definitely walked around knowing that their shit actually does stink (I had to!). I was a bit skeptical about the store since the reviews are rough however I walked in and was immediately greeted by the store manager Jesus, he quoted me a 5-10 minute wait time and within a few minutes Jason was helping me out. I went there to upgrade my own phone, transfer a line to my account from a different provider, and purchase a new phone and watch for said new line. I knew there would be a challenge with upgrading a phone on my line since it was technically upgraded four months ago (through my last employer who then kept the device), however Jason went beyond my expectations by calling customer service to ask if they could let me get a new phone. While Jason was on the phone with Verizon customer service, I sat down and was approached by two other associates to see if I needed assistance. It's clear that this store is attentive to the customers. All in all, Jason made it happen and I left the store a happy customer. read more

Came in last Friday to get my IPhone 6s 64gb Space Grey. We had planned on ordering two but unfortunately they did not have any in stock. They even decided to look up another store and see what closet store has them but he said that no Verizon within 100 MILES HAD THAT PHONE. Let me repeat that, 100 MILES. We thought this was weird but the "Employee" who was helping us decided to take my Dads name and number down since he is the account holder. The Employee said he would call us around Tuesday the following week about wether the phones came in or not(Employee to the left of him said they won't come till Thursday, but regardless of this it was fine since it would be before my 18th birthday on Friday). After all that, everything we thought was fine, except the employee helping us didn't give us a card with his name and number on it , but it's okay since THEY WOULD CALL US. Flash forward to today, Thursday the next week, still no call from that specific Verizon. My mom is a little aggravated so she decided to call the store and see what was going on. Upon calling, she finds out that they had gotten a new shipment of iPhones but not the ones we had requested. The person on the phone also requested that they did order the phones but that two packages were "under investigation" since they never made it to the store. They then attempted to persuade my mom into purchasing the 128gb version of the phone but she was not having it. She asked if they could look up another Verizon store that had them and they said okay(10 minutes of terrible elevator music) the person on the phone comes back and says the same thing. There isn't any iPhone 6s 64gb in 100MILES. At this point my mom was frustrated and decided to tell them to shove it(lol). About 6 minutes after that call she decided to call the Verizon at the Tyler mall and guess what.... THEY HAD TWO IPHONE 6S'S 64GB SPACE GREY. They said it even showed up in the system for other Verizon's to be able to see it... Thankfully I hope that I'll be able to get my phone from them tomorrow. Now as for the Verizon at Canyon Springs, my family now knows that all they care about is GETTING THEIR commission and not about helping out the customers. The fact that they lied too us is unbelievable and makes us wonder if they also lied to us when we went in the store the past Friday. Definitely, will not be coming here again unless the world is ending and they are giving out free phones. read more

Justin was the person who helped me and he did amazing. I have worked with him previously at the Redlands location a few times and his customer service is still wonderful.
