Great experience! So I had issues with my car causing me to take it to a local shop. After finding out what it was I when here to buy the part, and they had everything except one part I needed... To my employee was extremely helpful in ordering it online and having it arrive the next morning right before my scheduled time to take my car to the shop! PERFECT TIMING. I called to get information on a purchase since I lost my receipt. The guy who helped me was patient and helpful . The following day I went to the store to try one last time with a different phone number and sure enough he found the purchase from almost 2 years ago. He was helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Anyways , They refused to price match even though i called ahead of time to ask . they also wouldn't help me install them it's my first time i don't know how and want to make sure they're on right . Haven't witnessed this many idiots in one establishment in a while! They work with absolutely ZERO hustle. Long ass line while 1 guy munches on his ice cream cone, mask under his chin, Two employees staring at one screen not knowing wtf they're doing when 1 could help others in their long ass line. Customers are all upset and growing increasingly impatient, myself included considering this review! When I purchased my return initially I asked if it was something they could install and he responded, no we can't. I asked well do you know who can, as in who else can I go to, trying to avoid the mechanic response (since I'm a female and mechanics profile and take advantage of that) and he responded, "well someone has to do it." I was having trouble starting my car and I was 90% sure that it was my battery so I came here to get it tested. No problem. After a bit of a wait (a couple needy customers ahead of me) one of the workers grabbed the battery tester and confirmed that my battery was shot. Usually I'd have bought the battery to replace on my own when it was more convenient, however, my battery completely gave up on me in their parking lot. So I bought the battery and asked to borrow a couple tools. He above and beyond here by going back out to do all the work himself. He removed my dead battery, cleaned the clamps, and hooked up my new battery. The dirtiest my hands got was when I shook his hand to thank him for helping me out. I came here to get a new car battery. This location at the time I went was EXTREMELY understaffed. I wanted help/advice on installing the battery into my car, but there were only 2 people who were helping people check out, I felt so sorry for them. She said that she would help me as soon as she helps the people check out, but I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. If they had more staff at the time, that would not have been an issue. The only reason why I gave 2 stars was because the 2nd woman who helped me was so friendly and patient. INSTEAD, I got rude, sexist customer service from Jobany and another employee. He told me he couldn't help take my battery out because it'd take too long and so I was stranded and unsure of what to do. Another CUSTOMER came to my rescue and helped me take out the old battery & reinstall the new one. The whole process took maybe 30 mins. Going back inside to purchase the new battery, the employees laughed and mockingly praised me for being able to replace the battery on my own BECAUSE IM A GIRL! I went in looking for a product that would make sure my a/c would blow out cold air. I was unsure of what product I needed and where it was located. I usually don't like writing bad reviews on businesses but after my experience at O'Reilly Auto Parts I felt a need to share my experience so PLEASE continue reading before you decide to buy your parts at this location. Oscar and Luis were the employees that helped my 56 year old mother with buying a sensor for her car. To make this story short and simple, they took advantage of my mom by selling her a USED part that had just been turned in that same day, which isn't usually a red flag since parts are reusable right? Well, turns out the part they sold her was neither reconstructed or even fixed for that matter AND they told her it was a new sensor! If it wasn't for our mechanic we wouldn't have known that they tried ripping us off. Oh, and trust me, there was absolutely no misunderstanding between them because when we went to fight for our money back they knew exactly what they did. Actually, Luis thought it was pretty amusing since he decided to smirk at the situation. Did I mention that the employees had previously spoke to our mechanic without knowing they knew us and were willing to sell him a BRAND NEW sensor for 160 but yet sold a USED non-working sensor to my mom for 194.... It is unbelievable that a big well known business like O'Reilly is going to have employees working for them that take advantage of WOMEN who know nothing about cars! **Take your business somewhere else yelpers, for all you know, they might be ripping you off with your parts as well.** read more
