Read all the 1 star review and see if you want to take the chances!! Both valve cover and oil pan are leaking within 5 months, apparently they didn't replace any gaskets and seals as promised! The engine condition is terrible and sludge! LIAR! 100% LIE and SCAM!! I read all the 1-star reviews and thought there might have been some misunderstandings, especially with so many positive reviews, but after my experience, I can confirm that it's true--this place is a total scam! I initially contacted them about a 2005 Honda Accord engine swap, and they quoted me $1995, later offering a reduced price of $1799. They sent me pictures of their work, and the engine bay looked pristine, which gave me confidence in their services. They told me that all parts and fluids were included, but when I asked about spark plugs, they mentioned they would charge extra for those, which seemed odd since spark plugs are usually considered part of the engine components. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After dropping off my car, I was reassured by Andrew that everything, including seals, fluids, and parts, was covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, when I picked up my car, the engine bay was dusty and oily--nothing like the clean photos they had sent. Upon closer inspection, I found oil all over the subframe near the oil pan, which led me to believe they hadn't properly cleaned the area after installation. I cleaned up the oil myself, but two days later, the oil was back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted Andrew, and he asked me to drop the car off again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After a week, they returned the car, claiming they had fixed the oil pan leak. However, when I noticed a new oil leak from the main seal, I brought the car back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Andrew admitted that they hadn't replaced any parts, since I declined the spark plugs and when I argued with him wasn't it supposed to be included, he told me to find someone else to fix it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had no choice but to pay extra to fix the main seal. Reluctantly, I paid an additional $250 for the main seal repair. However, I continued having issues with oil consumption--about 1 quart every 400 miles, turns out it was the engine burs oil and was not just leaking! After more back-and-forth, they replaced the engine, charging me an extra $279 for a radiator replacement with an unknown brand, the Denso radiator I bought for my other Accord only cost $100! When I picked up the car, it was still oily and dusty, and though the oil pan no longer leaked and the coolant was as clean as water! Charged me $279 and added water to the radiator! None of the seals look like they were changed! And they had broken all the connector clips from the spark plugs to the throttle body. To make matters worse, I'm still adding oil regularly--about 1 quart every 1000 miles. Overall, this experience has been a total waste of time and money. They did not deliver the quality of work they promised, and I ended up with an engine that burns oil and who knows how long it will last! SHAME on you!! read more

Don't judge a book buy it's cover. These guys did a amazing job from start to finish! They actually called me a few times to see if I wanted to save money here and there. I unfortunately needed a new transmission and if your gonna pull the motor out and it has 264k miles you may as well do both if you can afford it. Even tho these engines go way over 300k with proper care. The best part is it only took a week to do the job! I was amazed, seriously. Got there and everything looked nice, sounded sweet, and the price was right on point. Thank you very very much for getting my Nissan Altima 2.5s back in action, it's really like having a new car. I was charged 2,400 for a 98 accord. Advertising 650 for engine. False advertising 59,000 mile engine!!! All seals were bad on the engine. They stole my original parts for used parts and gaskets.... Come to find out all my seals were bad. Even stole my red valve gasket that I put myself from autozone. (Didn't have it on pick up) Picking up the car, the son of owner put oil in the car before I picked it up..... charged me 1400 on pick up... they knew it was leaking. I got a diagnostic test later... come to find out my Mechanic said all seals were bad.... And odometer was not 59,000... as advertised They don't have legit paperwork or receipts. I had these guys put a motor in my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid when the original blew at 280K miles. Not only did they beat the price of everyone else I called, but the kept their word on pricing. I'd paid for the engine and work in advance, they hadn't done a hybrid before and it was a lot more work than they were expecting. To their credit, not once did they demand more money for the job. They got the work done and let me know that going forward they knew what to charge for this particular job. Honda UPDATE: 4/23/18 I've put 4K on the engine since and had zero issues. I've also purchased a Scion TC engine from them for $200 below what everyone else in town charges. Motor ran great after I got it in my car, unlucky for me my trans was bad, no 4th gear or overdrive. I'm having them put the Trans in and will update my review afterwards but I expect no problems. :) UPDATE: 4/23/18 They finished putting in the new trans and diagnosed a problem with the ECU, it was properly fried so they put a used one in for me and re-programmed the key. When I went to pick up the car it ran great, very up front with the work that went into it and the little things it still needed. Let me know I had an exhaust leak that should be fixed by a proper exhaust shop etc. I've since put over 1500 miles on the engine/trans and not had a single problem. My only critique of these is they could do better in the communication department, but they are always busy working in the yard and on cars so for the price I really can't complain to much. Either way, very knowledgeable and very fair price wise. I'll drive out from Santa Clarita to get work done by them. 10/10 Would send all my friends here for engine blocks. read more

He assured me that I could get a low mileage JDM engine installed with labor for $1499 in 2-3 days. I was a little bit skeptical about how fast it was going to get done but he sounded trust worthy and knowledgeable over the phone! Andrew was also really good about giving updates via text message about the progression of the job. I dropped the car off Monday morning and was able to pick the car up Wednesday, at the shop they offer a lot of payment methods for their clients I just ended up paying cash. The motor in my car had failed 7/19/21. I called them and they quoted me a price and time frame. Once I arrived, they explained potential unexpected costs and price (clutch, which is understandable).
