What can I say about Ty Well Auto Parts?…read more... This is the kind of place that reminds you why local businesses still matter. A father and son's family business that's been holding down Riverside for 30 years, with the kind of knowledge you usually only get after spending a lifetime around cars. They know their stuff. More importantly, they actually give a damn about helping people. No corporate script. No wandering around a giant store hoping someone can tell a brake pad from a sandwich. Just a family that knows the business, knows Riverside, and has been doing it right for three decades. If you need auto parts, check out Ty Well. You might walk in looking for a part and walk out thinking you accidentally found one of the last real businesses left in town.

I have been going to this auto service for about 4 yrs he had done good work on my car in the pass…read more I recently had some work done on my car and I was not pleased. There was something broken in the back and I repaired it but the repair that he had to do he had to remove it so I'm assuming that if you took something apart, that was repaired, you should put it back the way the client had therefore now I have to redo it after paying him $200 for the work done on my car I'm not happy about it. I didn't wanna argue with him so I let it pass. He's a good mechanic, but I was unhappy with them at this time.

I was originally going to take off 1 star for the following. I called in and got an appointment…read more When I went in, I was told they couldn't find me. My appointment was for 10:15 and they said they didn't do :15 apointments. They got me in about 45 min later. I checked my call log in case I made a mistake, but I called the correct number to make the appointment. Not sure what happened. However, once the appointment started, I just had a basic oil change service. It went speedily. I gave them back the star when I found out they checked my air filter. I have a Mazda and the air filter is a pain to get to. Every other auto service I've been to since the life of this car, when they do a "multi system check", they NEVER check the air filter. The fact they did suggest they were actually quite thorough with the inspection. Furthermore, as I sat waiting, there was about 6 completed services that I overheard. Only 1 of those 6 "found something else". In my experience, whenever I'm getting an oil change via a coupon, the goal is to get me in and upsell me. They didn't do that to me, nor did they do it to the majority of what I what I observed. They seem quite honest. I will be back.

I had a great experience at Prime Automotive with Juan and his team. They are extremely…read moreknowledgeable and take the time to really explain everything in a way that makes sense. What stood out to me the most was how they showed actual graphs and walked me through what parts were being affected and why--not just telling me "you need this" and giving me a price. They took me to the back to physically show and explain things, which made me feel confident and informed about the work being done. It didn't feel rushed or transactional. Instead, they made sure I truly understood what was going on with my car. On top of that, everyone there had a positive attitude, funny, nice, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and uplifting. It's rare to find a shop that is both honest and cares about their customers. Highly recommend Prime Automotive if you're looking for transparency, professionalism, and making sure the parts being ordered are the exact ones they even put everything they do in a system were you can see all the services that's ever done , they do things by the book and this is not a chaffa service it's a great honest eye opening great service!
