I called and spoke to Joe, set a date and time and was completely satisfied with EVERY aspect of my transaction. I have a 2017 golf cart that needed new batteries. I live in the Palm Springs area. I called many places in the Coachella Valley. I was in the automotive business and Powersports industry repair for 30 plus years. Not one of the business I called knew anything about batteries. I saw Joe's ad and read his comments, to good to be true I thought. I called and was impressed on his knowledge in the field. I thought I would give it a shot. He was at our gated community home on time that he said he would be here. I questioned him before he got started. He definitely knew what I needed and why. I watched and questioned while he was installing my US adsorbent glass mat batteries (AGM) in my 48 volt cart. I learned a wealth of knowledge from him. And to boot the price was beyond fair. Highly recommend Joe to say the least. read more

Joe Battery Service - Battery Stores Near Me

Joe installed 6 Trojan T-875 batteries for my Club Car Golf Cart on October 19 2023 at a reasonable cost especially when considering that Joe is mobile and covers a lot of southern California. The first week in October 2024, 11 months later, the battery light started coming on after short trips. It did not sputter or show signs of being weak so I kept my eye on it and continued to drive it regularly. But, on October 23rd 2024, the cart started to sputter. We live in the desert full time and use the cart regularly so the water levels are always maintained and the trickle charger is used daily. I called Joe with receipt in hand and told him the history of the past 369 days and Joe promptly told me it was 4 days out of warranty and nothing he could do. He also told me that it is "probably" not the batteries and most likely the charger. I asked him if he could come out and double check the batteries because the problem had been going on for a month and if it is the batteries, he should cover it under warranty. "Nope! I don't do that" he replied. I had the cart shop mechanic at the club where we live take a look at the batteries and he told me that at least two of the batteries were dead. I informed Joe of this but he disagreed, saying that the cart guys at the clubs are misinformed and don't know what they are talking about. But, he still would not come out and diagnose the issue or cover the batteries under the warranty. I paid over $1,000 for the new batteries that lasted less than a year and then get a "NO" from Joe who could have easily worked with Trojan about the 4 day difference between my calling Joe and the warranty period. By the way, Trojan offers 18 months on their batteries but Joe only offers one year. Why is that? That is my story. I have nothing against Joe, I just don't appreciate the way he handled my issue and his explanation of his "cheaper" prices due to only warrantying for one year does not work for me. It's not cheaper if the batteries have to be replaced in less than a year. read more

The finest battery service available in the valley. Joe does mobile installations anywhere in the in the valley and he comes clear from Fontana California. He removes your old batteries, cleans up the battery compartment and reinstalls the brand new batteries and checks them out for water and Performance voltage before he turns it over to you. And the best part is that his prices are very very competitive with any other location in the valley. He takes the old batteries back to his warehouse for you, so this is basically hands-free battery service. read more

Joe was very friendly, responsive and professional from beginning to end. He responded within 24 hours of my first text inquiry and replied immediately to all texts after we agreed to do business. He called several hours before our appointment and was running early so the job was finished several hours before it was originally scheduled to take place. My local Apex golf cart service center quoted me anywhere from two weeks to two months to do the job because the Trojan batteries I wanted were "backordered." Joe did the job within two days. Joe delivered six new Trojan T-105 golf cart batteries to my home in south Orange county as requested. He removed the old ones, cleaned out the tray, burnished and polished all of the connectors and installed the new batteries using shiny new nuts and anti-corrosion sealant on all contact points. He refurbished my existing connecting cables but I was really hoping for new ones. Anyway, I was looking for six new, high-quality golf cart batteries delivered to my home and installed in a short time frame at a reasonable price by a friendly, knowledgeable professional and Joe fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend his services! read more

started a conversation on Saturday through the text option and got a response on Sunday. I was looking for replacement 6v RV batteries and, through a lot of waiting for response, got a delivery time on Monday afternoon - not ideal, but workable for us as we are just passing through. I suggested I could drive there if that would help get the batteries installed faster. No response. An hour later, I sent a follow-up. An hour later I got a response ' I don't work on Sunday's' ??? Odd. The website says they do work Sundays. Called this morning (Monday ) as there was no update. I spoke with the same person who said he thought he might be able to get to it on Tuesday. I told him that would not work unfortunately and asked why the plan for Monday was no longer on. He said 'you should find someone else to help you' and hung up the phone. I recommend staying away from Joe's. Not reliable, not dependable, not professional, and that is before they do any work on your RV. Can't imagine what happens after the work is done. Stay away from Joe's Battery Service! read more

Joe Battery Service - That's my cart. He put AGM batteries. Works great! - Battery Stores Near Me

I was goggling batteries for my motorhome and came across Joe's listing. I am able to do the work myself but when I got his quote it was very close to the price I would have to pay for just the batteries and install them myself. I called him on a Thursday and he installed them today on a Monday. He was very courteous and professional and cleaned up after himself. Very happy and would definitely refer him to anyone looking to replace batteries in their motorhome. Extremely convenient. read more

Found Joe Battery Service website while looking on line for chassis batteries for my motorhome so I decided to call for an appointment. Called Joe on a Wednesday, he sounded very knowledgeable and gave me a quote to replace two chassis batteries that sounded very reasonable. Said he could come to my home to install them on Saturday but it over the weekend. Monday he showed up as scheduled and installed them in less than an hour. He was very courteous, professional, and was a pleasure to deal with. He also checked my house batteries before he left showing me the date code on them that was 6 years old. Said I should have them replaced sooner than later if I did a lot of dry camping. I will call him back to replace them when I can. Great service and highly recommend him! read more

Caution, Joe comes across as a good guy but he is not forthcoming and was not honest with me. Swears his batteries are all good but they are not. AND he refused to test them for voltage after he installed them in saying, "I do not sell bad batteries, I do not need to test them." Well, he was wrong. Paid $550.00 for a system analysis on my GEM to find source of problem since JOE told me it was not his batteries causing non-operation. GEM TECH found all is well with GEM but JOE's battery was the problem. To date, Joe has refused, has not reimbursed me a dime!! Dissappointed in his behavior, integrity and unprofessionalism. Recommend you get other services for your battery work. read more

Made an appointment with Joe to change eight batteries in my 2013 motorhome. We agreed on a price and on the day of my appointment I took time off, retrieved my motorhome from storage and brought it home for the service. Joe was actually early to our appointment which was nice. That was the last nice thing that happened. Joe opened the compartment containing my batteries and told me it was too much work and he wouldn't do it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Changing batteries IS hard. They are heavy, and not always easy to lift out. Exactly why I would rather pay someone than do it myself. But seriously, Joe's willingness to drive away while I am standing on the curb with my motorhome shows a complete lack of respect for someone else's time. I'm in my 60s and can honestly say I have never had someone refuse to do a job when an agreement had already been made. Big thumbs down to this guy. read more

I needed two 4D batteries for a boat in Dana Point. I called around and discovered Joe. He had the value compared to other retail battery suppliers. I scheduled a delivery, then due to Corona Virus i had to cancel the delivery several times. I finally was able schedule the delivery.
