He clearly cares about each individual customer. And he supports his staff. Even coming in on a day off to help us with our situation. We just moved to Portland from Hawaii and we had purchased new phones and WiFi. Our move to Portland was abrupt and emergent, so there was no time to get the WiFi. Aaron made sure we got our technology and helped everything get up and running. He is professional, personable. Knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely 20 out of five stars.

I bought him a phone and set up the service here so that Landon and the Grant Park store would get the business because the support was that good! My Samsung Galaxy 8 was crashing and apps wouldn't open. Came about suddenly and as we all know, we can't survive without our smartphones. Stopped in this particular store because it's in my previous neighborhood and I was familiar with the location, right next to New Seasons, with convenient covered parking and access directly into the store. Samsung was offering an upgrade deal where you trade in your qualifying phone for an $800 credit if you purchase the Samsung S21, which costs $800. So basically free! What's the catch you ask? I asked the same! You have to sign up for the unlimited data plan, which based on the current plan I had, was $23 more a month. However, with the AARP discount and paperless billing, the monthly rate is the same and the $35 activation charge waived. Bottomline, the phone was indeed free! I purchased the new phone and Landon transferred all the data (apps, contacts, pictures, etc) and told me to keep the existing phone for a few days to ensure everything did indeed transfer. Before the week was up, I was to return the phone, which I did, and in front of me they wiped that phone clean and updated the billing system to show the trade in was received. On the monthly bill it shows an $800 fee for the new phone, but I am not charged that amount. It's like AT&T fronts the money. Every month for 30 months, they deduct the credit from the trade in and after 30 months, it no longer shows up on the statement. I've been an AT&T customer since the late 80s, yes, I'm "vintage," so I know I will remain with them for the next 30 months So that's not an issue for me. If I do choose to leave, I'm responsible for the balance of the new phone that remains. Landon also set me up with a screen protector, at my request. After two days I returned to the store because with the screen protector I couldn't use the fingerprint security feature. And it made my screen look dirty. Without hesitation he took the return and applied the credit to a liquid screen protector which he applied for me. Another rep demonstrated how it is indestructible by banging his phone on the table and throwing it in the floor! Now, I don't recommend or plan on doing this with my phone, but it sold me on the liquid screen cover! Loving my phone so much, the faster 5G speed, double memory and the amazing camera! Which is what I use way more than the phone itself. It was my brother's birthday so I set him up with the same deal, again at zero cost, and Landon shipped the phone to him in NJ. My brother went to a local AT&T to activate, transfer data and set up automatic billing. Done! Another happy customer. Working in an AT&T store, or any of the competitor's stores, is not easy! They have to sell the plans the people in HQ and the manufacturers create. And deal with people who don't like the plans or are having issues with their device. It's not an easy role and there is so much turnover. Once you find a store and a rep you like, stick with them! Landon was superior, and James who also works there was super helpful. This location has a customer for life!

    We came here to get a MacBook Neo and a Mac mini. We were greeted and when we told him what items…read morewe were in the market for he immediately told us that there were no Mac Mini's available and that was it. We had checked on our phones with the APPLE APP that stated that it was available for purchase and pick up at this location. The Guy proceeded to tell us that it was not available and ended with that. We said okay that's fine, and then asked if there were any MacBook Neo available and he stated yes and to go over to the "order pick up table". My fiancé and I arrived to the table and saw a team member kind of slouched over the table and when we approached her she stated are you here to pick up an order? We said no and then she said well who sent you over here? I said the guy that greeted us in the front. Already- I am annoyed, cause 1. WHY are you annoyed? 2. The whole time we were talking, she was slouched over ( in a lazy way), she was not making any eye contact with us at all! I was the one that was purchasing the MacBook Neo, but she would ask questions or talked to my fiancé instead, like she did not even acknowledge that I was there. He also stated to her that I was the one that is buying it and to redirect her questions to me. 2 more people arrived at the table for pick up but she seemed annoyed. Her mannerisms and attitude was very below average. She spoke very low and I had to lean into her to and ask her to repeat herself which just made her more annoyed. The other gentleman that had arrived maybe 20 minutes after us later then asked if she can get another person to the table to assist them and that is when she went over and grabbed " Jake" to come and assist. Jake was pleasant and kind and was able to answer all of our questions and gave us reassurance and was able to assist us with placing an order for a Mac mini. If it wasn't for Jake, I would have said F this and drove to another location that is out of my way. The team member that was at that table I later found out by her name tag was " Ivy". There was no introduction no nothing just " Who sent you here". Like TF? She was also wearing a mask which okay cool but with her speaking low it made it difficult to hear and understand her while slouched over the table the whole damn time! very not approachable! Honestly, we came here to purchase some items from Apple, and yet members of this team made it so difficult to communicate and buy, like it was a burden that we are in there spending hundreds of dollars. I am so surprised that this location is nice, so you expect that the customer service was also going to be nice as well but ended up being trashy attitudes when it comes to purchasing an item. Out of the 3 people from that location, 1 was nice, attentive and actually showed that he cared about the items we were buying. So Jake, thank you so much for that day, but after that I think I rather go to another Apple Store-for sure if you come here you will leave frustrated. -2/10
