My experience here was truly unpleasant and infuriating…read more I stopped in to the Pearl location on 4/27. My phone has a loose speaker grill and the front glass of my phone needs to be replaced, as it is so scratched that the selfie camera is unusable. First off, despite being the only customer in the store, I had to wait ~5 minutes before the clerk came out of the back room. When he finally appeared I asked about the needed repairs, and the clerk said, "Sure I can do that." Then he told me that all he could do for the speaker was squirt some superglue up into the speaker port/grille and that it "might fix the issue but usually doesn't and blocks the speaker. But that's the only thing I can do about that." So the "Sure I can do that" was just a lie. That isn't a repair, that is squirting superglue and hoping for the best. Luckily I managed to stop him before he did it without verifying that I actually wanted him to do it. He quite literally was already reaching for the glue until I said "Well, then I absolutely don't want you to do that." THEN the clerk proceeded to pull out a screen protector box, and began opening it. When I saw him get the screen protector out, I asked him, "Is that a screen protector? Because I actually need the front glass replaced." He didn't stop what he was doing, continued applying the screen protector, and just said, "That's not worth it." Despite the fact that I already explained to him that I had a VERY specific reason for requesting that the glass of the phone itself be replaced. I never requested that he apply a screen protector, in fact I tried to stop him from applying it. He didn't even ask me about the type of screen protector, and installed a matte one. Even if I wanted a screen protector, I never would have selected a matte one, nor would I have applied it on an already heavily damaged screen. And, obviously, the screen protector over the top of the scratched glass does nothing to fix the selfie camera issue. He also installed it without the typical application tool, so the screen protector was misaligned. Frankly it really felt like the clerk simply wasn't interested in doing any actual repair work, and just wanted me to leave so he could go into the back room and chill there again. He was doing anything "repair" he could, as fast as he could, so that he had an excuse to charge me for it, even though he failed to do anything I asked.

He revived our dead iPad by replacing its battery, fast and easy for only $150, despite Apple telling us nothing could be done. Even better was how nice and reassuring he was! He listened patiently to our our sad shameful confession that it wasn't backed up nor signed into an Apple ID, understood with great empathy our worry about potentially losing all the great cat pics & videos we had on it, and discussed magical ways he could extract them if we couldn't figure out how to transfer them ourselves after he fixed the battery! He was great at explaining all the steps we needed to take, without overwhelming us. That's a priceless skill! We literally left smiling and hopeful, and he texted 2 days later it was all fixed up and ready for pickup. Mission accomplished! Double praise due because he also answered questions about my inability to iCloud backup my ridiculously old iPhone 7 before I purchased a new phone! Not only were they rude, arrogant and telling untruths from the get go, they seemed to just grab a price out of thin air and quotes me that number. I walked over to Ifix never having been here before, and found the employees to be professional honest and easy to work with. The glass was ordered and although it took a bit longer to arrive, the work was done correctly. Unfortunately, the mouse USB was left at iFix and realized it hours later. When I called it was confirmed the USB was there and Lucas dropped it off at my home. What awesome customer service. For future needs I will be going directly back to iFix and would recommend you go there as well for your phone, tablet and computer needs.

I have an iPhone 6s and the battery was dying quick, fast and in a hurry. I found iDoc via yelp and saw that they welcomed walk-ins so off I went. I took it in during lunch and had a new battery 30 minutes later. The person who helped me was friendly and helpful... one million times better than the service received at Apple. So happy to have a phone with better battery life and hopefully can hold on to it a few more years. Apple will have to wait to get my upgrade money :)
