Have been in FOUR times to resolve problems....they have NO interest or could give a rip if you have no service or problems. They have no suggestions for solving the problem EXCEPT....they would up sell me for more service which (might) solve my problems. Almost a month Later after threatening to cancel over the phone and was told to rush and take it back to the store same day! ( officially / unofficially)I went to the store and strong armed Marvin. No receipt was given, No refund back when promised on the account , so it's as if it never happened but the charge is still on my account and they won't remove it even when I was supposed to wait 25-48 hours with a bogus ticket from the phone agent. Recently opened, this Xfinity Store by Comcast is part of Xfinity's expansion into the mobile phone business adding to their internet, cable and home entertainment services. Like all providers in this space, they want your entire share of wallet and offer discounts if you switch over to more and more of their services. I'm not ready to switch my mobile carrier, especially to someone new in this space. But I do use them for my cable and internet...and with the benefits of streaming, have reduced a lot of my cable services. They now sell phones and accessories. IPhone accessories in abundance but no Samsung accessories. True if si many stores. I don't get it. Samsung has a healthy 24% market share (Q1 2022) so stores need to stock their accessories and not just iPhone. This location in the Lloyd Dustrict is quite large, clean, and they had enough staff so they didn't keep me or others waiting. I needed assistance making some changes to my account plus a new remote. I was in and out in five minutes. Perfect. And no hard sells on adding services. Now that's refreshing! read more

I needed to talk to a human because online/phone support was a buggy nightmare, no surprise. I needed to transfer my address and wanted to negotiate a discount on my internet. The store was pretty busy when I showed up at 5:00pm, so I tried again the next day at 10:30am and I only waited for about 5 minutes. Joshua who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. We worked through setting up the account for a new address, Joshua gave me a few plan options and didn't push to upsell anything. I was done in about 10 minutes. Quite painless! read more

The only reason I still have Comcast is that they have a monopoly on high speed internet in my area. The worst "customer service" I have ever experienced in my life. Beyond abysmal. Last week my internet went down on Tuesday and I spent HOURS on the phone and automated system going in circles every single day until Sunday. Every time I eventually got ahold of a person, which was not always possible and sometimes required several calls I had to explain the situation over and over and every person gave different advice. I was told by one person to call my modem company, Netgear, which led to hours more of frustration. I got scammed by some people posing as Comcast and alternatively as Netgear during this time because I was so stressed out at all the work I missed that I accidentally called a scam number somehow at some point. Comcast were zero help with this. They assured me they would do an investigation but did not even ask for basic details like the scammer's number. Reporting it required another hour and a half on the phone. A Comcast agent was supposed to arrive Thursday to fix the internet but never showed after I blocked several more hours out from work after already being behind. After telling me all kinds of nonsense about why the internet was down I was finally told that Comcast had changed their system to no longer be compatible with the expensive modem they had just told me to buy a few months ago and I needed to pay them more, on a bill that has already gone up, to rent a modem. My entire week was ruined by these people and now this week I am behind on everything. Shockingly bad. read more

The employees at this store did not do their jobs correctly which has cost me a few hundred dollars. I went here back in September to turn in my router because I was joining my new apartment's free wifi. Cut to today and when I had to make my 3rd phone call to xfinity asking why I keep getting charged and begging them to stop charging me as I am on my community account and have free wifi. When I asked the phone operator what the store notes from September said, apparently the guy at this store wrote "problems with motem". So basically I am trying to do anything I can to get xfinity to stop charging me but this has been a couple of months of phone calls and bills and no resolution yet! (The last phone person I spoke to offered me a $50 credit to my account- but apparently that is the best they can do???) read more

Xfinity is the only company that is so easy to set up and cancel whenever you need to. No hoops to cancel, great customer service in the store for set up and questions and I will definitely set up my account when I am back in the country. read more

We went to pick up our new modem and the sales person told us that bundling a phone would reduce the overall total cost to less than if we didn't have a phone plan... LIE!! got our 1st bill and of course it was more. Went to return the unused phone and cancel the plan and because it was past 14 days they wouldn't return it. To get us out of the store JAYE the "assistant manager" ??? told us we had to wait 3 month to see the amazing savings... LIE, LIE LIE. she actually told us our internet would be $5 after the discounts kicked in.. (in 3 months) funny... After 2 wasted trips to that store I went to Corporate and they were nice enough to take the phone back and cancel the plan. MAKE SURE YOU GET ANY DISCOUNT NUMBERS PRINTED ON THE CONTRACT... AND REVIEW IT OR YOU'LL GET BURNED!!! THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO SELL A PHONE PLAN. read more

Stay away from this store. My email account went offline (this happens a lot with Comcast). I could not get my password changed to get back online, so I stopped by this store. The woman looked up my account online and told me Comcast had stopped supporting email. Say what? She elaborated that Comcast no longer had email and she "heard" that Comcast had sent out notices to people. She "heard?" Doesn't she work for Comcast? Since I had my computer with me, I checked my emails. I told her there was no email from Xfinity cancelling my email accounts. So she gave me a slip of paper with a call center number on it because she no longer wanted to be bothered. She lied to my face, wasted my time and refused to help me. I later called Comcast and was told they still had email service, but they were no help either. Every time I deal with Comcast it's a nightmare. read more

You pay a huge price when you decide to cancel with this company. I liken it to leaving a Mexican drug cartel; there are many perils involved. First, be sure to cancel your credit card along with the service. XFINITY (Comcast) has trouble taking "no" for an answer. They will keep billing you after you cancel your service. Also, as mentioned in an earlier review, you will be charged for the equipment even if you turn it in. If you don't pay the extortion fee, they will be happy to go after your credit rating. Last, if you decide to go with this company-- Las Cruces is a black hole for the internet-- make sure you check your one-year anniversary closely. On average, Comcast charges double during this time. The best thing to do is threaten to cancel just before that date to renegotiate. Unfortunately, they may double your monthly charge anyway since you are doing this all over the phone. It may be best to go to the store and speak with the salesperson directly. Above all else, get everything in writing when dealing with Comcast. You cannot trust them-- even a little. read more

They did not give me what I asked for which was just wifi, since I already have a modem and router. George told me it was $52 a month just for wifi and then when I called customer service they were able to give me just wifi for $35. The whole interaction itself was just not good especially since you could tell they don't really care about what YOU need they just care about getting more money in their pockets. read more

The people who work here are SO STUPID. They have no idea how TV works, how to set anything up, how to fix any problems, they can literally only give you a cable box and take your old cable box. Not a yelper. But, I had to today. I went in to get help with fraudulent iphone purchases worth a few thousand dollars made on my Xfinity account. I figured they'd probably tell me there wasn't much they could do, and just give me a phone number to call. The exact opposite happened. Anthony (who i love now), sat with me for over an hour speaking with someone on the phone, undoing what these dirt bags did to me. Multiple purchases, one by one, were deleted from my account and a few other things done to my account to make it safer from said dirt bags. In fact, everyone at that store was awesome, offering their time and help, and their care and consideration were truly appreciated and comforting. Anthony should teach customer service. I wanted to call this store location to simply ask if they sell a certain SIM card that would work with my phone (I have Spectrum mobile and they have no stores in Portland). There is no way to call the store. The phone number listed for this location takes you to their national corporate automated system as though you're a new customer trying to purchase internet. The woman on the phone had terrible communication skills and began trying to set up a new phone line for me when I repeatedly told her that wasn't what I was calling about. Why are there no local store numbers anymore for simple retail questions? I have to physically drive there to ask if they sell a certain SIM card in this retail store? You're a communication service, maybe you should be easier to get ahold of? read more
