The repair person was quite rude and after the repair I experienced the forward facing cameras inoperational. I called the moment I noticed and the guy seamed willing to make the repair When I arrived after a 40 min 35 mile drive the repair guy was not willing to take a look. It seams the repair bussiness is an apartment or living space behind the counter. Smelled like food each time I arrived. The 1st time the business had an open sign on,but the door was locked. Sketchy!! Counterfeit items all.over the store and 1.75 canned sodas in a dorm room fridge when you walk in.....Sketchy!!!

I have done electronics parts purchasing for a few companies back in the 60's - 70's and know how difficult it can be, so kudos to these folks. The managers, who are both Ham radio licensees, are very knowledgeable about their stock and applications, and one worked many years in the electronics industry, as an engineering technician (as I did). I am thankful that someone decided to keep this store open, otherwise I'd have to be ordering online (and waiting for days if not weeks) to finish projects. P.S. I have never known either the owner or the managers to be anything other than polite, courteous and helpful, spending much of their time and sharing knowledge with customers. Perhaps the incident related above had to do with someone who was angry about Radio Shack closing almost all of their stores, back in 2017. This store has been independent of Radio Shack for a few years, although the sign remains on the building.

I've spent around $400 at this shop for poor-quality parts and repairs, and I consider them scam…read moreartists. I first had them replace my phone screen. They failed to properly install the water-resistant seal around the screen. A couple of drops of water from the sink later and the screen fried again. They charged me another $180 to "fix" it. A month earlier I brought in a laptop. They charged me $50 just to remove about 10 tiny screws on the back, then told me they couldn't do anything because the motherboard was secured by melting plastic to hold it in place during assembly, making it impossible to work on. So $50 for nothing. They also tried to charge me for data recovery. The SSD that held the data was easily removable through a door that takes one screw to remove. After the laptop disappointment I still hoped they'd take care of the second screen properly. The second screen they installed is faulty: it scrolls on its own without me touching it, and the problem has gotten worse since I got it back. Face ID also stopped working after the second repair (it had worked after the first one). They overcharge for parts, invent expensive services for things you can do yourself, and deliver shoddy work. I've paid them roughly $400 total for substandard repairs and zero accountability. Do not take your devices here. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away. I hope they find another line of work.
