Stopped by the store to get help on an issue our phones had due to the most recent upgrade. I was lucky Roberto was in store to help. He was working on my issue and after pulling up our account advised me I was eligible for an upgrade and it's been a while that we have been on our current plan. I let him know that eventually we would be looking into upgrading but not now. He continued to work on my troubleshooting on the current phone. I did let him know I didn't want to pay for a phone and he was able to upgrade both our phones and update our plan and we are paying $20 less a month than previous. Happy with the customer service and thankful I walked in that day for help. read more

Update!!: So it has been a ring around the rosie with this stupid store and the people that work there. I have left messages with the employees to inform the store manager Vivian to call me back. Four people from corporate (including a manager) have advised me to go back there to let the person know that the store needs to call the dept CORe to inform them that the customer has returned the phone and that they have it in their possession. This way both the dept and the store can manually go into the system to cancel the contract that was drafted. It's been well over 2 weeks and that trollop never bothered to call back. All the employees can tell me is that they already did everything they needed to do on their end and that now it is up to corporate to handle everything. I have proof from a chat on what the store needs to do but I can't show any of that because these people don't know how to do their damn job. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years. How can they allow such a store and shitty untrained unknowledgeable employees and store manager Vivian work there? Corporate needs to go in there and fire the store manager and retrain these people. I will be taking my 5 lines and going to ATT. read more

This store and it's employees don't even deserve 1 star. One of the female employees wouldn't take no for answer when I told her I wasn't ready to order a new phone. I agreed to come back for a set appt and make decision, but she insisted on ordering the phone anyway "so it would be here" when I came back for the appt. I was told the phone would come in 2 days and she assured me I could cancel it if I wanted a different color or model. Nothing she told me was true or correct. It's been 5 days. I still don't have the phone, and she can NOT actually cancel the order. That is until it arrives. This is not an actual Verizon store. They are only sellers. They DO not know what they are doing. Unfortunately what ever mistake they make, Verizon can NOT simply un-do. Going through them has made everything complicated and drug out. Just skip this store !!! read more

Worst customer service ever. It has been a nightmare to deal with them after the have been charging me wrong for over a year. The manager won't do anything besides promising to open a ticket. The last time that I went she did even bother to talk to me, besides she hid in the office and had a girl deliver her message. They owed me close to $1000 and did nothing to fix it until I escalated to a posible small court claim. Verizon has a website to open a claim before seeking legal action if anyone needs it. Be careful with this store. My sister purchased a new phone with a new line and also upgrade a second phone. She was charge a "Set Up and Go" fee of $39.99 for both phone(80$!!). She was then told that she could get the accessories such as charger, screen protector and case, and that all the accessories were included with the phone. The accessories were not free... A receipt was not provided until I asked her to call the store to have them email it to her. The accessories were also 250$ worth... Do not go to the store, they will take advantage of you. My sister was assured the accessories were included and she did not have to pay for them. read more

Walking in with a need to have a screen protector replaced and asked if they had them. The young girl first stated the cost. Yet didn't check what I need was in inventory, before responding with the cost! I was the easiest consumer in need of an immediate replacement, whom didn't come in worrying about the price if they had what I needed. Yet she was not clear on her role and how to communicate her inventory. Please provide to your employees better product understanding and how to hone in directly to what the customer is in need of. They attempted to up sell me a liquid screen protector, that at this point, she destroyed all hopes of me wanting to purchase ANYTHING from this store! Usually have an amazing quick experience here but I got a jet pack from them and needed to return it because even though it had "unlimited data" I used all data in 3 hours watching Netflix. I was able to return it but it is not off of my monthly bill. I have gone back twice and was swore to it would be gone. I have now spent $120 in charges I was promised would not be charged. Ridiculous. Don't say you can cancel a line if you can't figure it out. read more

If I could give it a 0 star I would. First, of all we came to Verizon not because we were not happy with our previous carrier but because at the time of our switch Verizon's finance options just made more sense since we didn't have $800 something up front for a new phone for my husband. In February we came to the store and had all five numbers transferred from Metro PCS( scoff if you want Never had a problem before with service and if anything went wrong they we're QUICK to resolve it) bought five new phones. It did not take at first so had to come in next day to get it resolved. Then, my new Google Pixel 2 was defective right out the box but they sent me home with it anyway claiming it would get better...it didn't. They replaced it so problem resolved and I give them that credit. But today we walked in to the store, where we had just spent money on an SD card a few days before on the recommendations of Viviana Gutierrez to help resolve the storage problem on my daughter's Samsung phone, to help resolve the issue again by the so called experts. We walked in with a phone that does not accept texts or phone calls or open up the photo gallery even after deleting 6 apps, moving all photos and apps that could to the SD card. Viviana asked if she could erase the At Bat app my daughter said,"no." She then proceeded to go on the SD card and asked if she can erase the things on it to which my daughter said those are all my apps and she said they were just copies of the apps. To which I said," I had moved all the apps I could to the SD card in order to free up some room on the actual phone but it had not actually freed any storage up which is why we came for help." Viviana assured us that they were only copies of the apps and that's why it did not free up space. She then proceeded to give my daughter her phone back and said that it was defective and we should call the manufacturer. That's when my daughter asked where her apps were and the videos that were so sentimental? Viviana said that they were still there... Um we are not blind it says application not installed on all her apps and the SD card has no videos. She literally deleted the apps and videos off the SD card and claimed that it was the phone getting worse even though we both asked her prior to deleting anything whether it would be deleting it completely. Well Viviana had no clue what she's was talking about and we feel absolutely distraught at the loss of the videos lost of family members gone forever. Words alone can't describe the sadness my daughter is experiencing now. read more

Have been to this store a couple times, each time has been terrible! A woman "helped" me if you can call it help. She clearly was only interested in a sale. This last visit was to inquire on an additional product, I left with zero product information but I do know how much the additional charge would be on my plan. And at that the information being given is so sneaky I.e. it's only $6 more...but it's $6 a month for 24 months more.... read more

On May 5th, 2018, I had stopped at the Verizon store here in Patterson, California (store does not state "authorized retailer" anywhere) to set-up new lines of service; a line for myself, my wearable and for my Wife. Associate, Malcolm Hester, assisted us and was misleading from the start. He told us that if we did not purchase a screen protector and case for both iPhones, we will not be able to set-up new service with Verizon. I was put-off by this. We decide to leave. As we were walking out, Malcom says: "Hang on. Let me call my Manager". Malcolm calls his manager. Malcolm then said: "my manager approved me to sell you the phones without the screen protectors and cases". We decided to stay. I was very detailed with the account set-up and made sure I was aware of all charges. Malcolm mentioned I'd be paying taxes for the two phones (I brought my own wearable) plus $20. I said: "Sure, what is the $20 for"? He replies: "for activation". I said: "okay". My total came out to $187.55. Now, when I checked the receipt the very next day, the receipt reflected that I was charged $20 for each new line under "set-up & go"! I never agreed to pay an additional $60 on-top of Verizon's separate activation fees for all 3 lines! I called the store shortly thereafter to speak with the Store Manager. I informed him what had happened. We were also charged $810 instead of $799 for each iPhone 8 Plus. The Store Manager had said: "this is not how we do business" and he'll forward my claim to his superiors then get back to me within a couple days. That was over a weak ago and I have yet to hear back from him. I submitted a complaint to Verizon. They said they will be investigating the incident. I also filed a claim with my bank, Chase, since I have not received a response from the Store Manager. I am writing this to inform you that this Verizon store here in Patterson is operating fraudulently and is a 3rd party retailer, not an official Verizon store. There have been similar reported incidents of the same on Yelp under "Verizon Wireless". Please hold the people involved at this store accountable for their false/misleading actions! read more

We went in yesterday to get their bogo deal they had going on. Viviana g helped me and she was helpful and detailed on everything that would be happening such as my new billing , charges for each activation and insurance so i wouldn't be shocked at the register. I was getting one new line for my son and she even mentioned to me about how there is an app to help control and monitor my sons (who's 10yrs old ) phone which is a huge bonus that i didn't know about until she told me . I was in and out of the store about 3 times that day mainly because my husband is constantly changing his mind on what he wants lol and each time Viviana and and the new manager Melanie were friendly and helpful explaining what each phone would do, and diff options they had available. read more

I went in today trying to trade off my damaged phone for an iPhone 12 when Viviana, the employee, made me pay off my damaged phone because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to upgrade it and it was $150. After I payed, she then ended up telling me that I had zero credits to purchase a new phone which is weird because once you pay off a phone, credit should be available and I had payed off two phone already. So she made me pay a bill even though she knew I couldn't walk out with a new phone today. She then told me to call customer service and try to extend my credit but when I called, they had told me that I had $5,000 worth of credit and I can upgrade Up to two phones. So I called back and she was telling me the same thing, I called Verizon in modesto to see if I could do the trade and if I had credit and I was able too for a way cheaper amount. I was charged $150 in Modesto and in Patterson, she made me pay off my bill which was 150 and she wanted me to buy the phone which was 220 and an extra 100 for walking out with the phone today. So overall she would've charged me more than $400 altogether. I wouldn't go to the one in Patterson because the workers aren't experience and provide false information. read more
