This store has been at GSP second floor for over five years now. This was my first time going to this store to pick up an online order for new phone. Upon arrival, found the store really clean, tidy, loads of gadgets on display for customers to interact with. There was one associate helping a customer with some issue. He was so dedicated that he didn't notice anyone else coming or going out of the store. So after waiting 10 minutes finally got up and asked me if I needed help. I showed him my order and ID, he went in to get my order from the back. At that very moment, two other associates walked out through the door. I was so annoyed to see I had to wait for so long to get this one guy's attention while two others were also around but hiding themselves in the back. I got the phone though in a nice Verizon paper bag. There was no issue with the order or the phone. So I was relieved at least that part went well. read more

Jeffrey is a total asset to the store. He was patient and thorough when I had an issue and had to get a new phone on our family plan. Come find him! read more

What a nightmare this verizon store had be go to. On 10/10/19 I went in at 8:30pm and wanted to get the new iphone 11 pro. Ronald asked me which gig i wanted, i wasnt sure so i said the same gig phone that i currently have. He was so rushed and i felt so rushed. He was helping multiple people at once which gave a very cold shoulder customer service exp. I would ask questions and wouldn't get answers. He gets me the new iphone, doesnt even open it, hands it to me in the box and says "here are the instructions to set it up" I said, "I have never left a verizon store without them activating it and making sure it works" he said that they don't have enough time to help me with that. He then told me that I am not able to download icloud to transfer everything over, I had to bump it next to the old phone, which isnt true, icloud works fine. I leave, go home and icloud works fine but to acitivate the phone is not. I followed the directions and it even said that my number was successfully transferred onto the phone, it wasnt, woudlnt make calls still and now its midnight and have to wait to go to verizon tomorrow. The next day none of the apps would load and i wasnt able to do anything, go back to this verizon, come to find out, he sold me the wrong phone, he sold me a way less gig phone then i needed. So now this is round 2 of going back, having bad service, and waiting 1.5 hours for the new phone to be activated and working. Also, he forgot to give me the shipping box and label to ship back the phone i was trading in, so I had to go back again to get that. I had wanted the same case as well which is the otterbox commuter series. When I told him he sold me the wrong case as well, Ronald went on and on about how Otterbox doesnt make the commuter series anymore. He went so in depth about how they combined the plastic and rubber to make one case blah blah blah that i believed him. Went home, with the correct phone, looked online, otterbox does in fact still sell the commuter series and Ronald was just lying. Now I need to go BACK to this location or another Corporate loacation, since most are authorized dealers around me, to return this case. Ronald's poor customer service has made this experience a nightmare. I dont believe it was lack of knowledge or training, he definitely seemed like he was not new, rather rushed, and did not pay attention causing a quick upgrade to be a 3 day affair about about 4 hours of wasted time. He knew all he did and gave me a really insincere apology and that was it, no manager was involved. I wont be coming back to this spot and really regret it. It was truly such a hassle and nightmare. read more

My heart goes out to the associates of this kiosk. Several of them at a time, cramped behind a rectangular counter for hours on end, with nowhere to sit and the dregs of Garden State Mall acting as their landscape. They belt indiscriminate shouts to random passersby like a fly fisherman angles his bait. It's not the best way to live. This kiosk is an official Verizon kiosk, not a licensed operator. There are no fees to process payments here and their commission rates are structured differently. But that doesn't mean the associates will conduct themselves in a more professional manner. You can't really blame them though. They have less than 10 square feet of free space... read more

If you try to call them to ask a question it is impossible to reach the people in the store. You get transferred from phone to text message to phone to ai chat to human chat to phone back to phone to press 3 and no option to do so appears. They just keep looping you through an endless hell of text verification numbers. read more

I dont really want to bother going into detail, but basically they're almost all extremely condescending (I say "almost all" because everyone ive ever dealt with here is, but obviously I havent dealt with every single employee). They also have made changes or added features to my account without my knowledge on numerous occasions, which i only found out later after entering my Verizon wireless account online - costing me $ or time because i then keep having to call customer support and argue. I have never left this store with my issue resolved - they just like to hear themselves talk in endless circles. I would really recommend going to another store location if at all possible. There is no reason to ruin your mood or your day. read more

I've been here twice in the past month, and both times the salespeople were super helpful. They helped me get a new phone for free, to replace my post warranty defective phone. Thanks!! I don't know what happened but it seems like Verizon is trying to step up their customer service these days :) The kiosk itself is small though, so you may have to wait. Definitely go to the one upstairs near the movies and not the satellite kiosk on the first floor, they're not helpful. read more

One of the worse experiences with Verizon. I was offered $310 for my IPhone 7 Plus and I turned it in sometime in September 2018. I went back to inquire about the Gift Card that was promised. To my surprise I was told that I never submitted or returned the IPhone 7 Plus. I went home and printed the receipt and returned to deal with a so called Manager named Rich Benites who refused to service me because I was upset. I will be filing charges against both the store and Manager for theft and contacting the BBB and the FCC. Do not buy from them. Very dishonest people here. read more

Horrible! We called up with a question regarding buying a new phone for a relative whose phone had just broken. It was an emergency and we called in while in route to make sure we had everything in place prior to arriving at the store, to smoothly transfer the line to the new phone and get it back home to our relative who had just gotten put of the hospital. Unfortunately, Curtis answered the phone. He barely listened to what we were saying and continually spoke right over us, despite being asked to stop several times! It was as though he just wanted to talk and not bother listening to our questions. It was so frustrating. There was one point where I was speaking and he again started talking over me, so I continued with what Zi was saying and he actually just kept having his own conversation ignoring the fact that I was trying to explain the situation. This is a customer support person???? Are you crazy??? After getting sick of his crummy customer service and telling him to stop talking over me, I finally demanded to talk to his supervisor and called him an a-hole. He hung up the second I said I wanted to talk to the manager. Needless to say I called right back. Curtis answered before the phone even rang. I again said I wanted to talk to the manager...he paused..I said, "is this Curtis?" He said "oh, your the one that just called me an a-hole?" I replied that I wanted to talk to his supervisor immediately! *click* Really moron? The Verizon store is a business. Their phone line is NOT your personal line Curtis and you don't have a right to deny a customer request to discuss your awful customer service with your supervisor. At this point, Curtis is now screening the incoming calls to Verizon to avoid our communication with his boss.... not so smart since we were on our way to the store! We immediately called Verizon's main line and got a technician on the line who listened and immediately called the store and connected us to the manager, Wanda. Wanda stated she was sitting next to Curtis when he was on the phone and that he hung up and said we dropped the call. She apparently was unaware of the dialogue happening on the other side. She said she never heard the phone ring when we called back. (Probably bc your employee knew they just hung up on us and was babysitting the phone to avoid getting caught). Wanda was responsive once I explained the full extent of his interaction beyond what she heard. I was a little surprised however that despite knowing we were right about to walk in, she never approached us in person, in the store. That was a huge miss. As a manager, she should have apologized in person as well. The whole incident was ridiculous and I question how they even have an employee like Curtis on staff. Two thumbs down for this location! read more

Don't go to this kiosk. The guys who work here are lazy and rude. I was sent here by apple to activate my new SIM card and the guy helping me, Rich, was huffing and puffing telling me that he should send me back to apple. He was not currently busy or assisting customers so he had no reason to want to turn me down. He told me I should have got it activated by apple considering I didn't go to them first to fix my phone. I told him that Verizon was my provider which is why I went to him to get it activated. He told me in a nasty voice that I should have gone them first if they were my provider. I then had to get my dad to put me on the plan to activate my phone because I was not the main person on the contract. The guy proceeded to tell me that I am 25 and should have my own bill and I wouldn't be expericing this problem if I had my own phone contract. He told me this two more times while I was waiting and was not nice about it. I wasn't sure why being on my family contract was any of his business but I guess he thought he had power over me because he was activating my phone. Needless to say, I would have flipped out on him if it wasn't for him fixing my phone and me being desperate. I will never go back there again because the men working are lazy, rude and useless. read more

My wife and I went to this location on June 16, 2017, with intentions of looking but ended up leasing two Samsung Galaxy 8+, and we were introduced to a Dads & Grads promotion where we got $ 90 worth of accessories, one of the accessories was a screen protector. Two weeks later my wife's screen protector cracked, so we went back to them on Monday 7/3 to get a replacement under the 30-day window. I spoke to the store manager an African American woman who was more interested in her hair and nails than what happened to my wife's screen protector, she passed me on to a Solutions Manager and he passed me on to an inexperienced associate named Besi to service us. My wife told Besi what happened to her screen protector and that we had just purchased new phones with $ 90 worth discounted accessories two weeks prior and we she should receive a replacement screen protector free of charge. Besi told me my wife and I that we would have the pay the full price of the screen protector of $ 43.99, I asked Besi if he could speak to the manager to make an exchange for a new protector , he told me that I would have to buy a new one for $ 43.99 cause it is not part of the bundle. So my wife paid and we waited for Besi to replace the screen protector, he did a pretty good job with that but forgot to replace my phone case which I had to ask him to return it. I was angry I shouldn't have paid because I was still within the 30 days return policy. Two days later I called VZW customer service and was told my wife should have received a free replacement as it was under the 30-day replacement window, on that same day customer service credited our account with $90. A day later my screen protector fell off so again I called the customer support and they already had the exchange ready for me, so I got a brand new screen protector from the Hartsdale Verizon store. My wife and I were extremely disappointed for their greed and dishonesty, they do not care about their customers once they leave the store, not to mention we have been Verizon customers for many years. This is not the best way to treat longstanding Verizon customers. read more

I was sold an 8gb Verizon wireless data plan with unlimited talk and text, with phone insurance for a comprehensive fee of $96. This was $4 more than competitors, at the time, but because my girlfriend and I wanted to stay with the same carrier, we figured it would be worth it. This was in March 2015. I worked with the kiosk manager, Wanda, who sold the plan. Wanda delegated the account opening to a junior associate who opened the account incorrectly. I realized this at the time and told Wanda and the associate that the $140 monthly fee that was displaying on their screen was incorrect and was not the $96 we agreed to. Wanda agreed and said she would correct the error but that it could take a week to reflect on the account. Fast forward through dozens of hours of calls, multiple return trips to the kiosk, calls and emails to Wanda and her boss Tamir (many of which went unanswered or had replies delayed for multiple days or weeks)...this account has still not been fixed. This has been a low priority for Wanda and Tamir. The delays between the emails and calls had gone on for so long that they'd forget the details surrounding the dispute. The data was slashed to 3 gigs as their "fix" and i am paying $117 a month 7 months later. Their sales tactics amounted to a bait and switch and i have dozens of emails and inconsistent account statements to prove it. Good luck retaining customers. I'm still waiting on a reply to my last email. read more
