What should've been a one time visit to upgrade phones and transfer lines turned into us visiting Verizon 3 times (twice to this store and once to another store that actually knew what they were doing). Waited 30 minutes to be be "helped" when we get help the kid and his 18 year old supervisor said they couldn't except my ID. It's an Utah Drivers license that is through the application GET MOBILE ID which is provided through the DMV. I can get through TSA onto a plane, send a $250,000 wire transfer at the bank, go to the liquor store and get pulled over by the police and it's always an acceptable form of primary ID but Verizon wireless can't use it lol. Such a joke, waste of time and incompetence from employees. Maybe train your teenage workers on identification processes and acceptable forms of ID. read more

Sorry to be a Karen and leave a lengthy review but the customer service at this location is absolutely horrendous. I went in this morning to get help with a SIM card that wasn't working, and help activating my new phone that I ordered online directly through Verizon. There was a ton of confusion regarding account manager, and account owner, I share an account with my family and I understand it makes things difficult but it shouldn't have been THAT difficult. I was treated terribly the second I walked in to this store. What I assume was the manager, tall white guy- He either has zero social skills, or he was having a rough morning. He was so rude and condescending. My family and I have been paying customers for 17 years. They sent me off saying I needed to call corporate, or change my number to account manager. 1st, I can't even call a soul if my SIM card isnt working, and per the manager you can't change a phone to the manager if it's been activated within 30 days.... right...... They obviously weren't able to help me, I left in tears, went to the location on State street and had a night and day difference. Changed my device to management and they helped me fix the sim and activated my new phone without the shit attitude and judgement. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different location until Verizon gets employees that are actually kind. read more

My brother went her and traded his phone to upgrade his phone. They took it on the spot. I went to upgrade my phone and they wouldn't take my phone. They said I had to mail it. they said they don't do returns of any kind. Anyone who has been to Verizon knows this isn't true. Me and my brother had the same phone, same plan and so forth. I think this employee either didn't know because he was new or he was just lazy. When I walked in the employees were huddled around 2 girls casually talking. So it seemed like I got brushed off so they could continue talking the girls their were 3 employees and then 2 female customers. Not the best customer support at this location. It's sad when I am being helped by an employee who has no idea what any of the phone promos are, lacks understanding of how the phone plans are structured, and is useless in helping me. I left the store unhappy, went to an authorized retailer and they were able to fix my problem in 15 mins. If you're going to be a "Verizon" store, then teach your employees and staff about your product. Nothing frustrates a consumer more than an employee who is not educated on the product they provide AT ALL. Won't be coming back here - I will be calling the main customer service line or going to an authorized retailer from now on. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I love Verizon but would stay so far away from this location. The manager Ariel Steed is the worst excuse of a manger there is. She lied to me on multiple accessions when there was proof in the writing, has no idea what she's even talking about and blames everything that goes wrong on the customer support. She refuses to help you out and even when she "tired" to help you out she never goes through with what she said. She would ignore phone calls and texts no matter how many you send. All it took was to call another Verizon location and talk to a REAL manager who actually cares about there customers to get a simple fix. read more

I'm a senior citizen and was worried they wouldn't be able to help me but Gunner went out of his way to print off my bill and even deactivate the IPad . I don't know why this place has such bad reviews, I had a great experience with them! I had a new phone sent to their store for pickup, and it was the wrong color (not their fault because I didn't order it from there, just had it delivered there). Everyone there was so helpful and kind in getting it sorted out quickly and painlessly. They didn't try to upsell me, and made the whole process stress-free! And when the right phone was delivered the salesman personally called me to let me know. They're a great place! Highly recommend! read more

Horrible service. We were trying to set up an account with multiple phones. We had people who needed new phones and others needed to be transferred. We had a daughter with a 3 week old baby. As more people entered the store they kicked part of our party out. Including the mom with the new baby. She had to wait out in the cold as they let more people into the store. Really???? I think the guy who "helped me" was named Chris and by helped me I mean he stood outside and wouldn't let me in or even take a look at my phone he just kept telling me I'd have to go buy a new phone without even once looking at my phone. He eventually told me he'd take a look at it after I told him for the 3rd time my Xr I phone was only a year old he begrudgingly said he "guessed he could take a look". I just left. Tried calling the store directly to confirm but no one ever answers. Went in to make some adjustments to my business plan. The man who welcomed me outside kept cutting me off to ask if I had a mask. As I tried to explain, I have a VERY difficult time breathing with my medical condition, the CDC and the Utah gov do not require me to wear a mask. He kept interrupting me and cutting me off without actually listening to what I was saying and insisting that I was lying (all while I had my inhaler in my hand). Been with Verizon for 9+ years, 2 years as a business owner, incredibly disappointed at the treatment (probably leaving to a competitor). Do not waste your time at all at this location. Very slow customer service. We came to buy a google pixel phone, knew exactly what model is needed. We were asked to wait for at least 30 minutes to watch the store reps walking and chatting between themselves. I guess the issue here is that there are 2 people that are welcoming new customers with "general manager" badge and the store load is supper low, which makes it un- evenly distributed. If I didn't need the phone today I would definitely leave. No special skills are needed to bring the device and get the credit card charged, I'm pretty sure general manager should be able to manage it:) and speed up the experience to make it pleasant. My Fiance and I went into Verizon this weekend to get on our own phone plan together and we were extremely disappointed by our experience here. When we walked in the door we told the man working that we were looking into opening a new account for the both of us, and without asking us any questions or giving us any information he just handed us a business card, told us to call that number and they could switch everything over for us. Who does that?!?!? I proceeded to then ask how much their plans were, how much the phones would cost per month, if they had any deals etc. To give you an idea on how poor the service was when I asked him how much their plans run he only responded with "well the cost of the plan depends on how much coverage you want." Yes, duh. I'm not an idiot. He just literally didn't even try to give us any information or help us in any way. He only wanted us to call this number without providing ANY information and told us that they would call our previous providers, and then call the account holder to get the lines switched over, then call us again to finish the set up and so we could go over and sit on a bench and do that. So unprofessional. I have been a Verizon customer for years but needless to say I am not anymore. read more

Emily was super helpful with getting me changed over from my old provider, even when I had to call them and then also do a forgot my password thing to get my the porting pin. I was getting into a prepaid plan, which I'd heard might downgrade my customer service experience since they don't get commissions off those, but Emily was friendly and patient and didn't make me feel like I was a bother in any way. My 17 year daughter went here last Friday to have her new phone ported from her old phone. She bought it online to save money as she is a high school student. We have always used this store to purchase our phones in the past. The sales associate would not help her and told her she had to do it herself. Yet my other daughter went to the store on 794 N State Street in Orem with a Similar situation and they were happy to port over her numbers and pictures from her old phone even though she did not buy the phone from them. SAVE YOURSELF FROM A LOT OF HEARTBREAK AND HASSLE - NEVER WALK INTO A VERIZON STORE AND HEAD STRAIT TO T-MOBILE, SPRINT, OR AT&T. Seriously have had the WORST time ever since I have switched from T-Mobile to Verizon. My story is not for the faint of heart, so read on if you dare. But if there is anything I wish for you to take away from this, it's DON'T JOIN VERIZON. On July 29th, 2017 my wife and I were on our way to a B&B about an hour and a half away from where we lived and we decided to get new phones on the way at the Orem Parkway store. Fun vacation idea right? WRONG. Not only did it take a long time to get set up, THE SALES REP FRAUDULENTLY PUT US ON MY WIFE'S PARENTS' ACCOUNT. Did he ever mention to us he was putting us on her parents' account? NOPE. Did he ever call my father-in-law to let him know? NOPE (Is that even legal?!). So that evening my father-in-law notices that a new number was on his account (my new number) and he calls us to ask what's going on. We have no idea so my wife and I go into the store the next day and try to settle things with the store manager. They do some stuff, get a code from my father-in-law and they say everything is set, we should be taken off his account the next day after it processes the request. Realistically, I would have been happy if my problem was taken care of after going in again the day after we bought our phones (Because mistakes happen, ya know?). BUT NO. A few days goes by and we are still on the account. And guess what happens when you have 5 people on an 8GB plan? Data gets used up quick! So my in-laws go to Mexico and want us try and get it taken care of. I call customer service and after speaking with a rep for almost 2 hours, we can't get anything done. The rep calls me back a couple of days later AND STILL NOTHING CAN BE DONE. Then the rep promises to call me back when my in-laws get back from Mexico so we can all be on a call together to get it taken care of BUT TJ THE REP NEVER CALLED ME BACK (why did you have to do me like that TJ?!). So for the past three weeks my wife, my father-in-law, and I have been trying to get this taken care of and customer service (which should be renamed customer hassle) has told all of us something different about why we can't get this taken care of. The current reason is we have to wait until the 30th before anything can be done I have been a Verizon customer for less than a month AND I AM ALREADY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED. Don't be like me. Don't sign up with Verizon after you get a new fancy job. Don't let them put you on your father-in-law's account. And most of all DON'T SIGN UP WITH VERIZON. read more

They pulled in the wrong bank account so now we can't even set up auto-pay in order to get the discounts. I use to swear by Verizon but they have totally ruined all trust. read more

I visited this store twice on Friday, March 24, 2017, and was not impressed. My family is looking to switch plans and I decided to visit Verizon to see what they could do. I stopped by at around 2:00 P.M. and it was busy. I was promptly greeted, explained that I was in the market for a new plan, and was put in the queue but never told how long I could expect to wait. After about 20 minutes, I told the gentleman who greeted me that I needed to get back to work but would return later than night. When I returned, the store had settled down and I was promptly greeted by a salesman and asked questions. I explained my current family plan, our needs going forward, and asked for options. The salesmen quoted me something like $190 for 4 lines, unlimited phone and data. I showed him an offer from T-Mobile but he wouldn't match it or offer anything to compensate. The phones were even more expensive. He tried to tell me that by charging more Verizon could put that money back into improving its network (as if). He wouldn't even waive the activation fees, which T-Mobile would also do. Verizon just didn't offer any compelling reason to sign up, which is fine. The real reason for my low review is because in the middle of our conversation, another Verizon employee interrupted us and asked the salesman helping me various questions on behalf of his customer. My salesman was pulled away for a few minutes to help this other customer. I found this to be a bit rude and inconsiderate of my time. read more

I went in for a new phone because my battery died quickly. The sales rep told me he had some awesome deals and that with an upgrade to the iPhone X and unlimited data my plan would only go up $11 a month with a trade it. I send in my phone and a month later it turns out they will only give 1/3 of what they said they would for my trade in and my bill went up $45 a month. When I talked to the manager he smirked the entire time and told me there was nothing he could do and to take it up with corporate. Horrible customer service full of liars and scumbags. Good hell!!! This store used to be the best place to go for a Verizon phone, not the case anymore. My SIM card failed in my iPhone, I explained to the guy helping me that I had tried every solution I could find on google before I came to the store, so he gave me a list of the same things to go home and try, that's after he told me a new SIM card was free and it would only take a second to put in! Then he tried selling me a new phone, then he tried selling me a new tablet with a data plan, then he finally gave me a new SIM card. So frustrating. Oh and I forgot to mention the guy who greeted me was not helpful at all and made me feel like I should probably come back another day because there were 7 ppl in line before me.
