I know that we've been through a lot of ups and downs like the time when my account wasn't transferred correctly and I was overpaying $150 each month and there were numerous times that I've had dropped calls during an important conversation. Like the time that I cracked my phone and then super glued it shut and then there was an occasion that I was so impatient with your customer service that I wanted to literally go through the phone line and strangle the representative on the other side. Let me just cut to the chase: I'm breaking up with you... I know, it's harsh and unexpected. I too, thought that we had a good thing going on. It's not you- it's me. No really, it's my fault- I cracked the screen on my phone and I had a hard decision to make: stick with what I knew or venture onto greener pastures. I chose the latter. I'm sorry, but I've already met someone else. We'll just call him "V". His LG DARE touch phone is something to be reckoned with and I just can't keep my hands off of it. He has exquisite features and to tell you the truth, they're exciting and they turn me on. V makes me feel like a whole new person; he supports me, understands my needs and is very reliable. I can't believe that I've developed such strong feelings in such a short amount of time. I understand that sales people have to make sales but on two occasions customer reps have tried to get me to buy packages costing over 900 dollars all the while they kept saying "its only going to cost you an extra 4 dollars a month for the phone" and NEVER mentioning the cost of everything else. We received a message from Verizon informing us that we were going to lose all our saved voice mail if we didn't contact them for an upgrade. We tried doing so but didn't know our pin number and couldn't get any further. We decided to call the store in Montclair CA. for help, after waiting 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, my husband and I got in the car and drove to the store. Once inside we were met by a a salesmen and inquired if he could help us and that someone would be there shortly to help. A salesman came forward and after explaining our situation was told that we needed to contact customer service. I informed him that we tried to call and that's why we drove in, to get help. He said that they were very busy with customers and he couldn't help us. With that being said we left BUT it was quite evident from his attitude that we were wasting his time. What I need to warn anyone reading this is you may get service IF you buy something but that store does NOT service it's customers after the sale is over. My suggestion would be find another Verizon store that will help it's customers AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, because the one in the Montclair Plaza does not. read more

I wish I could give a zero, this is one of the worst customer experiences of my life. First if you're going to do the triple play bundle, beware, they will hit you with a ton of hidden fees, even if you ask up front for all fees included in the price. Second, once they mail you all the equipment that you need to set up phone and internet, god help you if the equipment is broken or doesn't work. As far as verizon is concerned, its not their problem! Bad equipment too bad. After being on hold for I kid you not an hour and 20 min, the response was, they'd send someone out, but I'd be charged $91/half hour, and with 0 guarantee they'd fix the problem. So I could either pay them more money, when it was their problem to start with, or I would be forced to pay the bill I'd agreed to (assuming I got working equipment, which I didn't) or pay them even more money, with no promises. Great service! Of course, they still managed to bill me as if I was a customer with internet and phone service. I wish I could warn people more, this has been an awful experience. DirectTv has been really good, really efficient and responsive. If you want DirectTV, I give them 5 stars, but if it means you have to use verizon as well, save yourself the time and hassle, this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, and as soon as my mandatory 2 yr contract is up (in which time I'll be lucky to have internet at all at home), I will cancel. If you talk to Beatrice she is the best at customer service. I had T-Mobile and she literally got me to switch without me doing any work. She did most of the work for me which was great. I just went in because my bf needed an upgrade and I told her how unhappy I was about never getting any service, so she got me a droid ultra for free just had to pay the tax as well as a free tablet and all our accessories for free such as a phone case and screen protector with the Isis mobile app. She told me all about how i get $10 back on any Verizon purchase plus 20% every time I pay with Isis. I also get free small smoothies from jamba juice. I'm amazed. This is a great location because the choose the best for the Verizon corporate store. Came in to get my girls line switched over to my account and get her a new phone. We came in the night before and spoke to another gentleman who happend to call off sick the next day. By luck of the draw Scott who helped me before helped us again. He listened to what we wanted to do, pulled the phone out of the back room and got to work. It took him a while as we had a lot of swapping and moving to do, but it all worked out in the end. Terrible service here. Bought a phone paid 200 dollars and 20 dollars a month. Bought a case, cover, and battery pack for 98.00. When I got home the phone I bought is a Samsung S10e they gave me a case and cover for a S10. They did not fit my phone. Took it all back the next day and because I opened the cover and then found out it was the wrong size. They would not take it back . I said it was not right a stupid policy and they called security. I left, but turned them in to the mall management, and called Verizon main office. I have been a devoted Verizon customer since I was 16 which is like more than 10 years ago :( I'm old, anyhow, so every time I come every one is so helpful and gives service with a smile. They literally will spend as much time needed in order to make my family and I feel good about our plans and purchases. I knew I was going to have a bad experience when I walked in the store and nobody greeted me , they all just looked and kept staring at the computer . I had to walk up to an associate and explain to them I actually wanted some help and that I was intending to buy something in order for his attitude to change and help, he told me I could stack some deals and get a large discounted price if I traded in my iPad. I drove all the way home and got my iPad and then came back to the store. Again, nobody greeted me and I had to approach someone for help, I tried to explain what the other associate was telling me and he said "do you want to come back and talk to him" that's code for "I don't feel like doing work so come back and talk to him" .I used to be a manager for cricket wireless and my employees would always greet every single customer, even if it was just to pay the bill. I did not feel like I was helped at this location and honestly the associates need better seasonal training. They are supposed to be on top of their game right now selling phones for the holidays and getting that commission, not just sitting down on their phone waiting for the customers to come to them. Came into this store last night to upgrade my phone. Sat around for about 20min until I was helped by Rudy. I already knew what I wanted and how much I was looking to pay and didn't worry much about the upgrade fee because Verizon told me they would waive it for me. Rudy offered to trade in my phone, which I did, and I also got offered a bundle. I right away knew something was shady because at 3 different times he gave me 3 different prices for the bundle lol which was very annoying because it was TOO GOOD to be true. So I only ended up buying a case and screen protector with my employee discount. Rudy told me my upgrade fee was waived and was given a receipt that said "0.00" but did not have a breakdown of the fees that were charged and discounted from my phone trade in. I got home set up my phone and logged into my account to find the receipt that said I was charged the upgrade fee and on top of that an email that said I had added Total mobile protection and some voicemail text feature. what the eff? lol . So this morning I called Verizon Customer Service and told them to remove the Total Mobile Protection, The Voicemail Text feature because I never asked for it nor was I told it was added and to waive the upgrade fee. After a round around by the Rep I was able to get the fee waived and protection/voicemail text removed. Bottom line. BAD SHADY BUSINESS by Verizon Rep at this store! Ask for your RECEIPT UPFRONT with a breakdown of the fees and double check no extra features were added. read more

I came to this store to activate a new phone that was sent by Verizon after my old one had been dropped in water. Came in here and was promptly helped. I don't remember who helped me but the associate was straight forward and didn't waste our time by convincing us to upgrade while activating the new phone that was sent. My only problem is that I am paying an extra $30 a month on my bill for the phone I have since it is on a payment plan. I owe only $280 left on it and I asked him if I could just bring in multiple payments in between my monthly cycle to pay off the phone. He said no. Either the $280 all in or the $30 each month. Verizon still has me locked into their old contract plan and literally does not let you leave until it is all paid in full. There were way to many employees working (estimated 10) on the sales floor. I don't even see that many people working the cash registers at Walmart. Sadly, this is their method of sucking people into their useless and schemy plans to rip off poor innocent folk. The worst experience in a Verizon store and I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. The first guy who asked what I needed help with was fine but then Javier got a hold of me to help me and attitude straight from the start. All I wanted to know was how much it would be to do my own plan but since I wasn't an account holder he couldn't give me that information so I had to call and get a pin even though I was talking to the account holder on the phone with him. I can't remember the last time I had a good experience at this location. I know I may have had one or two over the last 10 years of being with Verizon, but the bad experiences out weigh the good for sure. I always have to wait a ridiculous amount of time, some of the sales people are very rude and not to mention I've been ripped off here too. This morning I showed up at the store 10 minutes before it opened just to assure that I would be first and could get in and out quickly because I had to go to work. When I got there one other person was waiting and a minute or two before 10:00, there were about 10 people. When we all went in I let the greeter know that I just needed to make a quick change to my plan and he said someone would be with me right away. Literally everyone who got there after me was helped first and I ended up leaving after half an hour because I couldn't be late for work. It seems like this is a constant issue at this location which is why I prefer to go to the chino location whenever I can. They go in order and take care of customers quickly and efficiently without tricking them in to buying huge accessory packages and charging it on the next months bill, like in Montclair. Unless you have a ton of time on your hands or just need to pay a bill on the kiosk, AVOID THIS LOCATION. read more

This place is terrible. Usually I never review stores, as I like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can't hold my tongue. I bought a charger about a week ago. The cable was defective so I come back a week later to get it replaced. I walk into the stores and instead of coming up to me to ask if they could assist, the majority of the staff was actively trying to avoid work by acting like the didn't see me. When I went up to an associate, he hesitantly walked me over to see what he could do. When u explained that the cable was defective because it wouldn't attack to my phone, he went on to blame my case. When I demonstrated to him the problem by taking off my case and showing him that the problem was still there, HE IGNORED WHAT I WAS SAYING AND TRIED TO SELL ME A MORE EXPENSIVE CHARGER WITHOUT ADDRESSING THE REASON I TOOK TIME OUT MY DAY TO GO TO THEM! After I explained that I just wanted to replace the charger, HE KEPT TRYING TO SELL ME ANOTHER CHARGER. After doing this for 10 minutes, HE SHOT ME A DIRTY LOOK AS I WAS LEAVING! The person helping me failed to switch the numbers after ten minutes of working with my phones, told me that his work was successful, and tried to sell me a battery I didn't need by lying about my phone's battery life. I have also had a TERRIBLE time with Verizon. I recently moved to Upland and decided to go with the bundle service offered with DirectTV and Verizon. It took well over 5 hours of phone conversations to get my account set up with Verizon. Each person on the phone was always very pleasant and helpful, but when I called back I would find out my account was never set up properly! UNACCEPTABLE. Such a waste of my time and theirs. They claimed the issue was that the previous owners never cancelled their phone line, so fine I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. However that is just the beginning of the problems... I specifically told Verizon that I needed to be able to stream video and connect multiple devices in order to work from home. Fios wasn't available in my area, but they said their regular internet would absolutely handle those requirements. They also said a technician would come and set up my router with no mention of an extra charge. The technician was very nice, but seemed unable to find a working telephone line in my house! Weird since Verizon on the phone specifically said they could detect a working phone line... So the guy had to string a wire from my power box outside through my garage into my kitchen. So now my router is sitting on the kitchen floor and not in my upstairs office. The internet seemed slow but the technician assured me it just needed to finish downloading. A week later it was still slow, so I went online for advice and restarted my router. When I called a week later to discuss my bill I found out how much I had been lied to. 1. My internet speed was so slow the technician on the phone said I could barely have 2 devices connected and streaming video would constantly requiring buffering. So they absolutely LIED when they said the internet speed would be able to handle my basic office needs. 2. I was charged for the technician visiting my house when I was NEVER told I would be. 3. I was being charged for things like call waiting, voice mail, and caller ID when I don't even have a functioning phone line to hook a phone up to! I spoke directly with the billing department and they couldn't even explain to me what all of the charges on my bill were for. UNACCEPTABLE! If you can't tell me WHY I am being charged for something why should I pay? I told them on the phone that if they couldn't meet my basic needs of being able to stream video I needed them to give me options of ow to fix the issue or I would be force to cancel my account. They guy said nothing except he was sorry and there was nothing he could do. Needless to say I HATE Verizon and will be canceling as soon as I find a better internet solution. read more

Iam not a happy camper,while trying to redeem a 10 dollars coupon thru Verizon on line for a store pick up item on line cost 14.00 dollars, at store cost was 19.99. So I needed a USB cord for the car charger I just bought on line with my 10.00 discount right I only saw maybe 5 dollars off,but get this I got the cord, which cost me 21.59. So finally I check my bank card, one charge for 16.19 (1) Ga. 16.19 (1) FL , 32.38 which looks like 16.19 ×2. After all this while I was leaving the store I asked the attendant so what I do about this can't you guys take care of this right here no I must call customer service and take care of their problems that they created go figure so for a $10 coupon online I tried to get a deal from cost me more because of them not paying attention of what they were doing when ringing things up.
