Worst customer service ever! Purchased IPhone 8 on Friday March 30th. iPhone 8 disables pretty easy, brought it back to store and people there were of zero help to me, three days after a 700 dollar purchase they tell me my phone is now useless, they won't take it back, no offers to help just out the door with ya and go to the apple store. Stay away! read more

No help when I asked to help reset the password on the email account on my phone. Tried to tell me Hotmail was no longer supported.

This is without a doubt, the WORSE Verizon Wireless store in the valley. Go elsewhere if you want polite, nice customer service. All verizon wireless stores leave a lot to be desired, but this one rates a 0 in reality, not a 1 star. read more

Worst customer service ever! Customer service told us to come in the store to change out a battery and charger it took them over an hour of fighting with us in store before they finally handled it. read more

Worst service of any VZ store I've ever been to, and I've dealt with several in several states. "My word is pretty much gold" is what I was told by one employee (Sergio) when he said I didn't qualify for an early upgrade (20 days before my 2yr contract expired) and that manager approval wasn't an option. He was wrong, in spite of his pride. Next visit was just as poor from a customer service standpoint. The store a few miles down the road (ValVista) took great care of me, and renewed my confidence in VZ. read more

I hope that Verizon realizes that they are literally losing customers because of the terrible service in this store. Went in to upgrade my phone with a deal they had going on--that my husband had JUST used that same day in a different corporate store--and the service rep had no idea what I was talking about and told me that what I was asking could not be done. So then I asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy stalled and told me that the supervisors were all busy and couldn't talk to me. Tried to get my husband on the phone to explain the deal to the guy and he said, "I never talk to people on the phone that I don't know and can't see." Guess the guy must NEVER answer the phone at work then. At this point there were multiple (non-helpful) employees standing around and I was so upset I stated that I would never shop there again. Apparently no one cared that I walked out very upset. I drove straight to the Verizon store my husband had gone to (on Frye Rd by the Chandler mall) and they immediately signed me up with the same deal--no questions asked. Bottom line: AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. read more

The worst Verizon store I have ever been to. They will scam you anyway the can. My phone broke and I went to get an up grade only 3 months before renewal. Sales rep told me he worked a deal and it would be about $200. It was late and I didn't argue. He threw stuff in a bag, setup my phone and sent me on my way. The next day I looked over the reciepts. I didn't have to buy anything!! The $200 was for an accessory package with things I told him I didn't need or want. He had told me it was part of the special to get the early upgrade.. Just spent an hour waiting to return the crap I didn't ever want. The manager Sammy said it was an unfortunate error. Almost seemed he was proud of his staff for almost getting away with it. Shady place don't trust them. read more

Went to Verizon today to have a simple thing done. SIM card. The customer service rep that helped me was a complete jerk and I will NEVER go back there. I will do business with Verizon on the phone or buy my phones elsewhere. He had no respect for me, talked to me like I was a child and I left there just so angry I needed to cool down. Stay away from this store. Drive over to Best Buy and get better service. read more

Excellent customer service. After six months of suffering with the absolutely useless Samsung phone, I have returned to the iPhone fold with great rejoicing! read more

Worst experience ever!!!!! Not only were we misled about the ""Free tablet " but we're were also misled about our first bill, it was double what they quoted!!!! read more

Dropped calls, voicemail not showing up, calls not coming through and Verizon has been notified multiple times by multiple customers in the east valley. Blogs, YELP and the BBB all have a record of upset customers chronicling the issues yet no change. They are now LEAVING and CHANGING carriers! (see nextdoor.com) DREGRADING COVERAGE that is chronic and endemic!!! No consolidated YELP profile for them but it doesn't matter they are all 2 STAR!!! read more

Would like to give a shout out to Pete from the Power store. My son attempted to upgrade his phone at the apple store and took over an hour and they were not able to complete the transaction. A few days later I went with him to this store to try again, there were issues due to the incomplete transaction and Pete took it upon himself to get on the phone and attempt to resolve the situation. It took quite awhile and a number of phone calls but he was able to get my son his new phone. Thank you Pete! read more

Always hate going to the Verizon store on Power Road and Southern. They always have an excuse for everything.

We met with Jose and he helped us get on a phone plan that he said we were supposed to get a 20% discount on and it turns out that the discount was not available for this plan and we had signed a two-year contract with Verizon, and now we are not able to get out of the contract and have this plan that we don't want and spent a lot of money on. When we went back to this location to speak to the manager it turns out that Jose did not work there anymore... We will never do business with this location again. read more

The Verizon store on 1438 Power Rd lie d to us. I would avoid this store if possible. We went in to get a new phone on my same line. He brought out a phone, set it up, and we left. It was supposed to be on the same line I had before, but when we got the bill, we found out that he HAD ADDED A NEW LINE! After I had said I wanted it on the same line I had!!! We had to find out by the bill!! Horrible to do business with!! read more

Absolutely the worst customer service! Entered the not-busy store and was ignored for 20+ minutes... no greeting, no how can I help you. Nothing. Another customer and the sales staff immediately asked to assist them. It wasn't until I intervened that I FINALLY saw a representative. And the store manger never once apologized or acknowledged there was a problem. And then, when attempting to change my plan, I found there were a myriad of hidden fees not stated on the website plus told certain fees, like activation, would be deducted a few months later... why charge them on the first place if they're going to be refunded? The "free" phone wasn't free until, again, a few payments on the free phone would be refunded three months later.... what??? Will never return to that location and I am actively looking for a new provider. read more

Terrible store. Rep was snooty when we made a return. I was told I didn't set up go google correctly!! Never received email to confirm return. He was not able to print it. Stay away. Oh. They don't answer the phone! read more

Super friendly, helpful, patient at explaining the options available. My 4-year old son was being crazy, jumping around and hit his head and manager gave him a water and cheered him up. Great people with a great sense of humor! And to top it off the fastest I've ever been in and out of a phone store! read more

Ok, I've waited 2 days to post this to hopefully get my anger to not show across this review. I chose this store do to the customer service in the past. They are probably the best in the far East valley. BUT, I went in on Thursday with a software issue on my phone, to the point I could not use my phone which is my money maker. The guy started off good, but things turned quickly. He immediately decided I needed a new phone. I'm out of warranty and do not have insurance on it. I'm passed due on my bill and couldn't make the payment till the next day. He was no help what so ever and I tore out of there in a heaping rage. I called Verizon from my wife's phone and was given the best person out there. She knew what was wrong and went through all the steps to correct the failed software update without sending me a new phone. All this guy at the shop had to do was look into the issue, but no he wanted me to pay more and wait 2 days for a new phone. It's not that I won't go back to the store, because I will to see new products, but I will not but anything in store ever again. I will take my time online and order or call and order. I'm sorry, but it seems that customer service in all Verizon stores does not exist. read more

This store is useless! I had an issue starting up an account and the worker and manager just stared at the same screen for ten minutes shaking their head and told me there is nothing they could do. They didn't even try to help or think of solutions. Then I went to the Verizon store on Valvista and baseline and they made it seem like it was no big deal and completely solved the problem. I will never go back to that store ever again. read more

Went into to upgrade iPhone 6 to a 7. Very nice girl in the beginning. They gave us the phone and messed up the activation. Phone wouldn't connect to iCloud. They're solution was for my wife to call apple support and spend an hour on the phone. I finally said we want a new phone or our money back. The nice girl says it's not a Verizon problem it's an apple problem. We haven't even left the store and they're already trying to get us out with a phone that doesn't do what it's supposed to. I talk to a manager and he's completely worthless. The sales girl finally talks to the apple guy for 20 minutes and the phone finally works. Don't go to this store if you value your time. The people that work there certainly don't. read more

Just got done at this place and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. If you're not buying accessories or trading your phone in they look at you like a crazy person. All they care about is making the most money off you and when they realize they aren't going to their attitude completely changes. read more

I went to the power location and I received excellent service. I upgraded my phone, Jason helped me and he did a great job showing me the features of the new phone and getting it all set up for me. He even put a new screen cover and phone case on for me in no time at all. I love my new phone and really appreciated the nice service. Thanks Jason! read more

Poor customer service skills....extremely unhelpful in researching a payment issue. Assumed a check "had probably bounced" which wasm't the case. Processed said paymemt but wouldnt provide additional information, impersonal and snide read more

I wish I had read the negative reviews before I drove all the way over this HORRIBLE store. A 20something who clearly didn't know what he was doing helped my by himself without bothering to ask for assistance. At one point he opened up someone else's account and started changing the settings in their account! I watched him saying, THAT'S NOT ME! He acted like I should mind my own business and pretended to keep doing what he was doing even though he was totally lost. No other employees came to his aid. I summoned one near by and she DEFENDED his activity before she knew what he doing!!!! They both continued to tell me that what I was told over the phone by a Verizon operator was incorrect information never once acting like they cared that I was inconvenienced by first their phone support, then their own store employee's stupid arrogance. I wouldn't buy a Verizon acct now if you paid ME! read more

Dan at this location has horrible customer service skills. I went in to upgrade an open line which I had previously called customer service to tell me I was eligible to do so. So I went in and spoke with Dan. I had some questions about adding this line and he was giving me the run around then told me he isn't in the mood to deal with this and walked off. First off you are a customer service employee you should be in the mode because that's your job, second I was not being rude because I myself work in customer service and understand it can be difficult but never once have I told someone oh I'm not in the mood for this. He lost a sale because of his actions and I would never return to that store read more

Well here's a fun update on my experience at this Verizon Store. Sydney in sales took it upon herself to "update" my account in such a way that only provided my with 1 Gb of data a month either through sheer incompetence or in retaliation of my denial of accessories. A call to Verizon customer service fixed this issue where they are not paid on commission and are actually there to help the customer. I found out that i was supposed to be on a 6 GB per month data plan due to my previous unlimited plan which had expired when I upgraded my phones. No matter what the answer is, either retaliation or incompetence neither is acceptable from a customer service standpoint. I welcome any contact form Management at this particular store to speak with me as there are serious issues going on at this store that need to be immediately resolved before I or anyone i know will continue to do business there again. read more

Horrible experience buying iPad. I purchased an iPad air 16 gb on 5/8/14. The next day a family friend offered me their retina 32gb for half the price plus cases. I went in store to return knowing I had only $70 restocking fee. I made the refund transaction, etc. all was fine. Then in the next week I'm getting emails and phone calls that my account is passed due $62.05. There's no way because I paid bill and refund completed. I go to store and speak to a manager as I was not happy to be getting calls. She pulls her calculator out and crunches the numbers and tells me it's the taxes that haven't been refunded yet. She continues to tell me that they take a billing cycle to process so go ahead and pay and they'll be credited next cycle. I refused to pay as I had already paid once. Next billing cycle still there. Now I'm getting calls my service will be shut off. Long story short, 3.5 months later and I've been told everything from " she shouldn't have promised 1 cycle because it's usually 3." To "let me put your account on hold while it cycles the last month." "I don't know why they haven't refunded... Simple process. Refund transaction done wrong in the first place. I will have corrected and posted to your acct In One hour." "That's your restocking fee..." (I have receipt to show they've already subtracted that from my refund.) last one and best one by Ebony was "we don't refund taxes. You'll need to report to your local government office to collect the taxes." Then ebony agreed to call store and find out why not refunded... And call me back. Never called. Today I got another email and when I call customer financial services tonight it's still another story... But no resolve. I've been hung up on countless times, told in store that customer services does refunds, told by customer service stores do own refunds... I've had it!!! about to report to BBB and local news station on top of transferring service. I've never dealt with such bull as with verizon... Especially at this store!! If I could rate a negative * I would! read more
