I was getting a new 12 pro phone and wanted to trade my old 6s and then give my current Xs to my mother. The 12 series is the first series that apparently has true 5G. Steven helped me change my plan but not change my other family members since their phones don't have that capability right now. We ended up still paying about the same which was really nice. He said everything clear cut, gave us the additional add on options and any that we didn't want to do, he never pushed us further and just gave us the facts. When I came back to transfer my data he was super helpful. I just wish he was there when I came in the day before because another employee told me something completely different about transferring data and it was quite frustrating. I tried doing it her way which took me 8 hours and didn't transfer everything, so that's why I had to come back the next day. Steven was then able to show me another way and it took a little over an hour and transferred everything (without having to buy extra iCloud storage and all that). I really appreciated his customer first mentality. The store overall is clean, lots of space for social distancing and all the tables have pexiglass. There is an employee that is Spanish-speaking and if you book the appt online, you can request that. When you come inside, sometimes they don't automatically greet you so you also have to make your presence known so you get put on a list to be helped. Book an appointment!!! If you aren't there right when they open, it can be a waiting game for forever. I had to come back a third time to get my mothers phone that I transferred to my previous Xs. The data transfer was fine (following Steven's steps at home), but the activation of the phone was the BIGGEST PAIN. Went to the store with a never ending wait so I then tried to work through the call center to finally figuring out you still needed the store was a mess. It should not be this hard to transfer lines IMO!

It looked and functioned like something from 10 years ago. So I switched to U-Verse. Their DVR system is pretty nice and allows you to do so many different things. You are able to record 4 shows at once, along with a variety of things on demand. They offer wireless boxes, which is a plus becase we couldn't run wiring in our finished basement. It also is whole home DVR, so the shows that I record I can watch on either tv. I have had no reception issues and no customer service issues (yet). I am sure that will probably change once my 12 month locked in price is gone and I have to call to re-negotiate. I also got the 16mb internet service with wireless and have had no issues. The tech even set up my desktop in my finished basement with a wireless adapter at no charge. That was a nice surprise as I thought I was going to have to find somewhere else to go with it since I couldn't run wire. AT&T is one of the better TV/Internet options around. I have had Time Warner, Charter, Directv and Century Link and none of them are as good as AT&T.

I had one of those flip phones, I took good care of it, I didn't fold it anymore because I seen a crease starting on it so I treated it like a straight phone. It worked good for a couple years like that. Then black screen, blank, nothing. Restart it, it's ok. It did this off and on for a while. Folding the phone is expected to get a crease but I didn't fold it. Blank screen ? It wasn't that old. I paid $150+ for 2 lines. My daughters phone was just a straight phone but the battery kept dying, she charged it, it would die again shortly after. I called At&t costumer service (Multiple times) and told them the problem with my daughters phone, the girl told me that the phone was discontinued. I did not know they were gonna get rid of it. Eventually the phone completely died and is now just a paper weight. When I told the girl about my flip phone she had no answer for me. I even talked to a manager (costumer service employees are useless, they just answer phones). The manager (managers are also useless just there for a paycheck) told me I had NO insurance and they were not gonna fix my phone or do anything for me. He also told me that I'd have to pay out of my own pocket to fix the screen. Paying $150+ for 2 lines and nothing else, I thought that included insurance also. They took the insurance off my service without my permission. One place I found near me said they could take a look at my phone, replace the screen but it would cost me about $500 dollars or more to get it fixed. And for my daughter, I'd have to get her a brand new phone and STILL have to pay on her old dead phone. So I'd have to pay for 2 lines, 3 phones, $500+ and a partridge in a pear tree. AT&T is the company from .... (you know where) If you want to just throw your money away then At&t is the company for you!! I am happy to say that I don't have the stress of deal with people who just want to sit there, answer phone with an accent you can't understand and collect a paycheck that's it. I now have a different company with 3 lines and I'm now paying LESS than $150.

Actually the guy in the photo messed up my families entire account somehow. It took weeks to one…read moreday figure out why our bills were not accurate. Several months passed and when I finally got around to stopping by the office I was told that that employee screwed up a whole bunch of stuff and had been fired months ago. Finally, I believe, around 2 years of completely losing my mind about how much money we were being overcharged someone eventually realized the mistake and in the end we were still TSOL. I can't remember how many years we've been with this company, but when we first got into their service, I was still working for their parent company (TDS TELECOM used to be a parent company, I'm not sure if they still have any affiliation) and at that time it was free, as a benefit package with my job. That was 2006. If T mobile didn't suck so bad they'd be an option. Verizon, same thing. Now that I think about it, and can't think of any other companies, I'm recollecting the cold hard reality that my actual immediate home address is in a strange dead zone. Meaning that US Cellular was the one service that my house could get a decent signal. That was years ago, but the two neighbors that I recently spoke to about this issue told me they too were stuck inside the US Cellular web network because of that same problem. I wanted to delete my review, since I now pretty much despise Yelp. I'm systematically trying to delete every single one of my reviews but it takes more time to get rid of them than it did to write them in the first place. Well, not really but it's a damn pain.

This is above and beyond their normal job responsibilities. I am so grateful for their help! In April, when I lost my phone, Gloria helped me get a loaner and she was super helpful and patient. In addition, At this store, I could tell the staff work as a team to provide services. It's nice to see a supportive work environment!
