I have XFinity home WiFi and absolutely love it. Their promotions for mobile service and equipment have always been attractive to me, as well as XFinity Mobile is powered by the Verizon network. So, I finally did it & moved to XFinity mobile today (2 lines of service). Little bit of a misunderstand regarding the costs of service and equipment at the store today due to new promos rolling out today, however, we were able to sort it out. Excellent customer service today! Overall, my new cell service and iPhones are great and the price is fantastic! Recommendation: *Check, then recheck their 'current running promotions and offers' on their website before going to the store to be sure. *Sign into the XFinity website when you get home, and double check the sale and agreement; it's e-mailed to you right away. Downside: *Getting in touch with a live XFinity customer service agent at (888) 799-3747 can be challenging & a bit frustrating. *The online chat feature is functional, but driven by A.I., but will connect you to a live chat agent when requested.

I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

I consider them to be the very best of the very best in all respects. As to the Internet service I received from JMS I have never, in all my time with them, ever experienced any problems at all-- no downtime... no dropped connections... no throttling....nothing at all.... the service is spectacular and I sincerely doubt that anyone can find a better service than that which is offered by JMS Internet. Everytime I had a question for them, their response time was phenomenally short and the individual on their line helping me always knew exactly what to say to help me easily understand the answer to whatever question I was asking them. Let me sum it up this way: Absolutely phenomenal! JMS Internet has completely transformed my online experience with their outstanding service. From the moment I reached out, their friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel valued and supported. The speed of their internet is simply unparalleled--lightning-fast and incredibly reliable! Their customer service is top-notch, with prompt responses and an eagerness to assist that is genuinely refreshing. Every interaction has been pleasant and efficient, showcasing their commitment to excellence. The installation process was seamless, and their technicians were both professional and courteous. Not only is their pricing fair and transparent, but their extensive range of packages ensures that everyone can find the perfect fit for their needs. I've never encountered such a customer-centric approach before; it's clear that JMS Internet prioritizes satisfaction above all else. If you're looking for a trustworthy, efficient, and simply outstanding internet provider, look no further. JMS Internet has my highest recommendation--truly exceptional in every way! I just had Uverse internet installed for my parents, since their existing ISP (Clear/wire) is…read moreshutting off in November 2015. I'm writing a review hoping that it might be helpful to somebody else if they find themselves in this situation. My parents and myself have two older (7+ years) Macs running Snow Leopard. We also have 2 iPhones and a Nexus 5, and a ChromeCast. When they came to hook up the internet, the tech was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, when it came time to test the network, it seemed to only be working reliably for the newer devices (my phone, my mom's iPhone and the tech's iPad). On my parents' iMac it caused incessant hanging, and it actually froze up my MBP's entire Finder four times in a row, necessitating a hard reboot each time. The tech's eventual answer was to 'buy a new computer.' While that might be true, my parents shouldn't be expected to dump $$$ on a new computer just because of a switch in ISP! After much troubleshooting, I came to the conclusion that it was the all-in-one Modem/Wireless Router. I don't know if there are some settings that would make it function better or not, because it was basically impossible for me to check the settings before both computers would freeze. I had to boot in safe mode to turn off the wireless in the MBP, and unplug the Ethernet from the iMac. I ended up plugging an ethernet cable into my parents' old wireless router, and then using another ethernet cable to go into the iMac and using their old wireless for the rest of the devices. I wouldn't have bothered with their device as a router, except the tech unplugged everything and insisted that it should work. Maybe for newer Macs and Windows machines, but for the people who have totally functional computers that happen to be older, it's ridiculous and wasteful to think we would throw them out because they won't play nice with their buggy router! That said, the service they are getting currently is much better than Clear, and so far has been okay. We'll see how it holds up in the next few months.

The next day we went back to switch my husband's plan to boost from something else and get a new phone. A different employee was working. As soon as we opened the door you could hear her from back room cussing that she had to get up. It was an hour before closing. The whole time she would laugh at our questions and just beyond rude. We asked if we could just get the switch done and buy the phone. She told us she did not feel like doing all that an hour before closing. I was disgusted by her. I can't believe DISH charges you a monthly lease for their equipment but when their equipment goes out YOU the consumer have to pay for them to come out and change the equipment. They won't send you the equipment to replace but you have to pay $100 for a technician to come out to tell you the equipment is bad.
