Visited this store in April of this year and was assisted by the wonderful Silia M. She was so kind, patient and funny. We actually cancelled our cell phone services with a different company that day and got a new plan with Spectrum for two cell phones and WiFi. We've been using Spectrum since then and have had no issues, service is great. The best part is our bill for all three mentioned is cheaper than the original cellphone plan we had. Thank you Silia. My 84yo mother who pays for her acct and her 86yo neighbors Spectrum acct got new equipment last week. Very hard for Mom to understand new remotes so she went to the Porterville store and requested someone come by and help her with it so on top of the $400+ she pays a month she was charged another $65 for the service call. Great job Spectrum. Maybe you could put the $65 toward inventing new equipment specifically for seniors. Easy to use or comes with a free service call. read more

Always trying to take advantage of their customers. They lie, cheat, steal with their promotions. Don't sign on because the minute your promo ends, they will hammer you with a bill even greater than a years worth of promotions. My bill went from $267 to $387; they said it is in the fine print of the bill my promotion was expiring. Such shallow and shady business practices for a few dollars. As I was a loyal, existing customer, Spectrum mobile came out with this advertising campaign recently, offering new customers 2 unlimited mobile lines for $25 each. Then, one day I received an email from Spectrum offering me that deal. My son and I had been with Spectrum a long time and were paying a bundle, so I was glad to see this sent to me in my inbox. I immediately called Spectrum to have our lines adjusted to this new rate offer. After much transferring, I was ultimately told that the offer I wanted was only good for "new customers". Then why did you email it to me? They refused to give me the same rate, citing I was an existing customer. Well, not anymore I'm not. Companies have a lot of nerve to take for granted their existing customers like this, and in effect, punish them with higher rates for being loyal. I hope more previous customers leave to boycott this way of doing business. But, as it turns out, I got a 5GB mobile deal for cheaper than what I was paying with Spectrum mobile. So, I'll end up saving money as a result of their decision to disrespect their loyal customers. read more

***BUYER BEWARE **** I just noticed I have been paying an extra $29.99 a month for spectrum TV. When I went into get internet service I asked for the cheapest lowest plan as I am on a very tight budget. I didn't see that a charge for spectrum tv was added! I wonder why my bill was so high. I thought that it was because I had just moved to a small town and this is the only internet service I know of that was available. Oh no it's because that sales guy had added on an extra service. Watch out for those sales people they are just out for themselves and couldn't care less about an individual's circumstances. Which I clearly explained that I could only afford the bare minimum. Very disappointed and customer service was no help. My small town is growing and I am praying that I will have affordable options soon. read more

I canceled my service with Spectrum 4 days after my billing cycle began and yet spectrum charged me for the full billing cycle. I moved from my house and so I was not able to use the service. I consider the policy as fraud. I will not be recommending spectrum to anyone ever again read more

Would give 0 stars if I could because when I shut down my service in my local address I was told that I will still be charged for 10 more days when the SERVICE is NO LONGER WORKING. What a fraud and a scam!!!! Will be reporting this to consumer agencies and also cancelling service in the new state I'm moving to especially now that I know SPECTRUM will be DOUBLE BILLING me for service they are not providing here as well as my new service. Avoid using spectrum at all costs! Was also given wrong info in my new state about being able to turn in equipment at the office and wasted an entire hour driving into town to do so. While I was living in SLO, my roommates and I used Spectrum internet. Student desk for the first year, great quality internet. I'm rating this location a 4/5 because the customer service was awesome. The worst company ever. I called a few months ago to lower my bills and to get rid of the premium movie channels. So they said my service would go down to $130 instead of $195 which I thought was great. My bill went up to $213 and after paying for it twice I am amazed that they casually increased my bill when I specifically tried to reduce it. This was done over the phone so I'm going down, actually sick today because this should never happen to anyone else. Lots of luck in dealing with these people who are just looking to take your money. read more

Worse customer service. I talked to three different people and not even one of them could help me. It seem like they didn't know what they were doing. I told them that I was interested but they just told me yes and they hang up on me. They didn't even say bye. I had to call them back three times. Spectrum techs here today for 5 1/2 hours! Worked into the dark and thru dinner. Anthony and Leo did a fantastic job and actually got everything working and did the work all those that had been here before had done half way and with out actually following each issue from source. ( And there have been many techs via Bright House and Spectrum here in last 8 years for the same issues). Internet, TV's and land line phone are all working. These two guys deserve gold stars. Anthony and Leo were completely professional, friendly, and really interested in really solving the problem, not adding yet another bandaid. If you can ask for a tech, ask for these two. I have cable service for 30years from Bright house and charter bought Bright house. I was having trouble with internet speed so I called them and discussed options. Instead of buying a new router Myself I decided to go with a package that had more channels and included new equipment. When the installer came he said that I wasn't supposed to have WiFi included and the price was higher than I was quoted. My wife sat on the phone waiting for a manager when the Representitive couldn't help. The manager wouldn't help my wife but gave her contact information. I called today and they said she was busy and would call back. She didn't. I don't have my problem resolved and I recommend you have them send you a confirmation of your agreed price by email before you do business with them read more
