I have been a customer for over 5 years. Living in a rural area, reliable internet used to be hard to come by, so I was glad to find Unwired at first. I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price. read more

This internet is bad it works for awhile then it goes off and on I can not watch anything without disconnecting from the internet dont waste your money on this. read more

Have been a customer for four years or more. When ever I need technical help or advice they are available to answer my questions. They also have a decent military and, veterans discount. The billing department also offers help and good customer service. Also, their equipment and installers are very patient and are able to offer good suggestions. read more

so this internet will be great for your first few weeks after that your speed will slow and be prepared to loose service atleast once a week for a few hrs and once a month for 2 days to 2 weeks (no they do not prorate down time). Any time you need customer support always hit new customers they will get to you in seconds if you do support it'll be several days to months before you hear back installers have no clue what they are doing either. Just get starlink its literally 310mbps vs the 5mbps upload and 10mbps down load you get with unwired and im only 6 miles from there antenna with direct line of sight (I literally look at the light blinking on tower) I have the threat messages from this company too if anyone is interested in seeing how they operate read more

I was told I could cancel without a penalty due to poor service, but apparently, I was misinformed. Now I will be charged $400... SO make sure you get a "paper trail" before canceling so they can waive the early termination fee. read more

We just got it installed today. So far, it's working great! I guess my location requires a 15 foot antenna, which we didn't expect, but as long as the landlord or city doesn't complain it's not a problem for us. We have the very basic package, and the net is running fast! read more

They said they could get us internet and the signal was good over the phone when they told us, now they tell us that there's no signal good enough to get us internet. They're telling us to install poles that costs $1250 then they say $1600. read more

I had to buy a new router and i had no clue how to set it up and then have all my iPad's and tvs and google home connect. I tried on my own for two hours. Real local humans you can get them on the phone fast and they will go to any length to help get you what you need. I was having issues with poor upload and download speeds.... I called Jeff (Customer Service) and he put me in touch with the Technical Support Team ( ant remember the dudes name) but he was outstanding, very patient and took the time to resolve not only the connectivity issues (just required a complete reset and reboot of the modem, but he also helped me hook up my own modem and got it working saving me $10.00 per month on a modem rental. Customer service is very important to me because it shows as a whole, they take care of each customer... even though some customers get angry or don't understand.... They do their best every day. I am giving them 4stars because of the price, I feel it could be a bit cheaper. Living in a remote area, my internet prior to theirs, barely worked, if it worked at all. I can finally stream within my apps. I highly recommend them, I just wish the price was a bit less. read more

We were hesitant about getting satellite internet, because of cost and unreliability. Our friend had basically gone through all the other services and decided to try Unwired. After about four months, I asked how the service was, and she said it was great. No interruptions of service and has had no other issues. We decided to give it a try. Easy to sign up, easy to contact, easy install and have had the service for over a year now! Both my spouse and I work from home and are on Zoom a lot, usually at the same time, and we've had no issues. We even suggested it to our next door neighbor, who is now using Unwired! We live in a Rural area of South Tracy & Unwired is who we use. You always speak with a human when calling which is great with in itself. I called the other day & they helped with getting me faster internet uploading speed at no charge plus they are also looking into seeing if I can connect to another tower to get it to 10 times faster than I currently have now. Had a 12-4 pm appointment. Still waiting. They said that they may be running a little behind but would be switching to another technician. No call, no show - over 1 hour late and no one has shown or called! I've had horrible experience with communication from this company. Rude and condescending customer service and now waiting all day for no response. Probably the worst service I've had and I thought AT&T was bad. Nothing compares to this company. I don't know if they had a change in management or ownership but it's gone downhill. read more

UnWired has great speeds at an affordable price. Completely wireless regardless of where you are located. We have a small private Christin School located where no other company offered service then, we heard about unWired. They were at our site in no time and we have been customers ever since. Recently we had our first every issues, after years of service, and they were out early Saturday morning to get us reconnected. Michael Rodriguez our Technician was very knowledgeable and talked us through the problem and educated us on what do to should anything occur like this in the future.
