I would put no stars if I could. I have filed a FRAUD REPORT & I am in the process of a claim with the police. This place illegally charged me for a phone I did not buy or agree to buy. I was told that there was a special on a Samsung Note 4 and that I would pay Zero dollars after all the rebates. The experience of this store has really upset me. I was not able to even communicate with this store, I was asked to leave the store when I put in my complaint. The tall dark skinned kid that works there said he was calling security on me without even hearing me out, He said he thought I was a horrible person for even questioning him. Terrible place to shop. First things first , STAY AWAY from this store. These guys are smooth talkers and would screw there moms over if they could hit there monthly " 80% goal". Here is my story and I can tell you I have zero reason to lie about my experience My parents visited this store on 07/31/2015 at 5pm to upgrade one of five lines that we have with Verizon and the salesperson mentioned that they weren't eligible for an upgrade so it be cost $140. My parents decided to wait it out since it really wasn't urgent to upgrade . What happens next is just plain and simple awful and fraudulent by 4g wireless . I get a call at 9pm and the salesperson Jovani tells me to come in because he can offer to upgrade up to 4 lines for free because they need to hit there store goal and they'll do whatever they can . I got up and drove there and sure enough they told me they can upgrade 4 of my lines but I would need to add a tablet and a hotspot. However adding these additional lines would not raise my rate because of a promo or something . They told me I would essentially get 6 lines for the price of 4 lines. I was hesitate but I figured why not I'm in sales and these two devices will only help when I'm out and about meeting my clients . I agreed to the additional devices and we started the activation process . I continuously asked about charges and fees that I'd be responsible for but they 100% assured me that I would not pay a dollar now and my futures bill won't not have any charges as well. Seemed weird but they kept showing me receipts showing zero so I figured wow I got a great deal. After all the devices were activated all 3 employees and there regional manager started celebrating as if the Lakers won the championship . They all thanked me and I did the same and I went home . It was almost midnight The next morning I woke up excited to open up my tablet and use it. Well well here is where it's starts . I take out the tablet and there is finger prints and scratches all of the device so I flipped it around and sure enough it was a refurbished tablet. I called and they told me that this was part of the deal and I had to keep the device. This wAs unacceptable and I told them that I'll just bring in all of the devices and cancel out everything because I don't buy used products especially when I signed a 2 year contract . They said no no we will take care of it but we need a new discount code and since it was Saturday I needed to wait for there manager on Monday . I said ok well since they are agreeing to switch it out I will wait a few days Monday comes around and all of a sudden things are different and they can't help. I went back into the store and was understandably upset and they said that they needed to call there manager. He went in the back of the store and called his manager. She said they didn't have one at there store but they have one at the store down the street and to leave my number and they'll call me when it's there. I left my number and went on with my day . That week I needed to go out of town for work so no one called me and I didn't call them . The following week came around and I called the store and all of a sudden I've passed there 2 week return policy by one day and they can't help. Straight crocks, played the waiting game and they knew what they were doing . I called Verizon directly and they told me that I should always avoid these types of store because they aren't actually Verizon stores and these are common issues . The rep was amazing and transferred me to there district manager Crystal Handberg. I left her a few messages but didn't get a response so I continuously called until she finally picked up . She was very nice and explained that she is in the process of reviewing the video tape recordings and that her or the store manager would call me . This was a week ago and I still haven't heard back but I'm giving her the benefit of doubt. We got back from our family vacation today and opened up our Verizon bill and sure enough we had a $145 equipment charge . I just called Crystal and the store and they are working on it... Well so they say they are but who knows I want to point out that I was with Sprint for 13 years and just switched to Verizon about over a year ago and it was all positive but these types of things really make you think . Bringing in people that previously probably had a job at McDonald's and pay them a higher salary and give them the option to make commission and they get greedy .. They are thinking about that moment and do t realize that being shady will catch up to them . I'm very unimpressed with his store , there employees and there service and I will take FULL legal action on all parties associated with my transaction. This includes the store and all employees personally . This is a code of ethics violation and Verizon. I came in @ 3:47 and right now at 4:51 PM I am still waiting after the female manager took in a woman after me and pretended to be "just" taking a payment when she approached her. She was there to make an exchange and purchase; obviously a friend and proceeded to take another sales rep away from a different client to assist her friend as she then wondered through the store not assisting people and then left later to return and help another person who came in at 4:44 pm and said she only had a question and proceeded to look up her account to do an upgrade sale. The male sales person she took for her friend then left the store after finishing her sale. The only other working sales person available finished his sale, went on to assist the person in front of me and then help the woman the manager left hanging mid sale. I want to go ballistic so bad but what good would it do towards subhumans that have no remorse, no ethics, no care and absolutely no CONSCIENCE??? If you say anything, they'll screw you over by not helping you at all. It is now 5:30 and Sonny is skirting around hoping I'll leave because he is not getting a sale out of me, even though he keeps talking about my upgrades. NOT HAPPENING SONNY!!!! NOT IN THIS LIFE TIME!!! How do you live with yourself, deceiving and outright betraying any sense of decency or kindness?? I left without being helped...... I waited 2 hours to be told if I want to buy the iphone6 I have to buy 200 dollars in accessories which is total bull shit and probably is illegal. Once I agreed to do so they told me they couldn't sell me the phone because I won't start a new contract. The Indian dude helped me get my pics back on my old Htc phone a few mos ago. However When I went into buy my new iPhone I dealt with Michael the manager. I told him I wanted to sign into a 2 yr contract and pay all the fees and taxes up front. By signing into the contract I got the phone for free. Well somehow I got talked into their "Edge" program where you pay the full price of the phone over a 2 yr contract but you see 15$ off a month. I still had to pay taxes and 10$ SIM card fee upfront. Oh I remember now... The $40 upgrade fee was waived if I signed into this Edge 2 yr program. Later that night I realized I did not get what I wanted and was actually paying more for the phone than if I just paid the $40 up front. These freakin sales dudes...they'll scam you if let them fill your head with all their numbers and Bs. And the Edge program is still a 2 yr contract. Why would you pay more if it's Still a 2 yr contract?! So I took it back the next day, paid the taxes and fees up front and got the phone for free with a 2 yr contract. I have the same plan I have now unlimited talk, text and 3 gbs data $60 mo. Why mess with a good plan?? Hopefully there will be a new manager by the time I have to go back. The current one just was on the take and looking to pick pockets. I also returned their $30 hip case and got it for $12 on Amazon 2 days later. Peace read more

In June my sister came in with 3 flip phones to see if someone could get one to work. The manager Carlos came to help her. He told her that Verizon was no longer selling flip phones and would be phasing all flip phones out in 2 years. She was encouraged to purchase a smart phone. When she got out her drivers license, Carlos saw she had a military ID. My sister is an older woman and disabled, walking with a cane. She was sitting at a table when Carlos asked her to come to the register to sign for the phone. She wanted to pay for the phone in full on her charge card, but Carlos told her that Verizon doesn't allow that. (NOT TRUE) She returned to the table. A few minutes later Carlos came over to the table with her new phone and also a new tablet. Carlos explained that since she was military, Verizon was "giving her a free tablet." She explained that she had a tablet at home that she NEVER uses so she didn't need another one. He kept on telling her it was "free." She asked if she could give it away, and he said it was "free" so she could do with it what she wanted to. NEVER ONCE DID HE TELL HER THAT WHEN SHE SIGNED FOR THE PHONE SHE WAS ALSO SIGNING FOR A $40 ACTIVATION FEE AND A TWO YEAR MONTHLY SERVICE FOR THE TABLET. Carlos also told her that she could return the phone and tablet if she was not happy with them. HE DID NOT MENTION THAT THERE WOULD BE A RESTOCKING FEE FOR EACH. I had her return both items the next day. It took 6 days for someone at this store to notify Verizon that the items were returned and that was after getting Verizon involved. This is FRAUD! I would give no stars if I could. This was not just a salesman, this was the manager of the Victra store in Granada Hills. read more

I was convinced to buy the Hum device from Verizon when I upgraded my phone last April I have an old model car and I felt that this device would be helpful. I was told that Hum will notify me of any car problem I may have and would even recommend a trustful mechanic. I feel that this will keep me at ease about my car. The salesman helped me install the device on my car last May, ,2018. I connected the Hum to the bluetooth on my phone so I can answer the phone with the hum. It's awful, the person that called me cannot hear me and the sound is really bad speaker . I disconnoff and stop using it I went to the store multiple times for hrlpgave up going to the store since this device is not what they say it will do. Plus the device has to be charge so often otherwise it will not work. It's a waste of money Im stuck to a contract and it charge $10.00 a month that I just a waste . I'm really glad we ended up at this verizon store, as soon as we walked in we were acknowledge and greeted by David. He gave us a good deal on a phone and not only that without us having to ask he helped us with promotions and special offers. He's very friendly and polite and really tries to help you. The store got really busy when we were there, BUT he still took his time to greet everyone and made sure people were helped in order. I came into the store Saturday wanting to upgrade my phone. Carlos helped me out originally i was told a certain price over the phone and when i came in waa different price. Reason being was because i would be doing all the transfer myself from one phone to the other. Carlos was extremely nice and generous and took initiative and did not charge me extra and went ahead and backed up my phone and did they transfer himself. Best verizon wireless store! I have been to many in the valley with a wait of at least 10 minutes every time but there was no waiting here. I called first to see if they had the phone I wanted and Cristina who had helped me was very polite. She was very helpful and asked if I wanted to make an appt and that has never happened. I didn't even know you could make an appt until then. When I got there they were quick to help me. I was helped by Suren Plavjian and he couldn't have been more helpful. He went through all my options for what phone might be good for me with my upgrade and the different prices and what insurance may be best for me. I didn't get the insurance so he helped me choose a case that would help protect my phone. He wasn't pushy and I didn't feel like he was trying to make me buy something. Beware of fraud. I came here to buy a new phone for my elderly mother. The sales lady seemed helpful and knowledgeable, BUT she did not fully disclose the fees that were charged directly by the store and subsequently on my bill by Verizon. Even more alarming, I was charged for two services that I did not ask for and that were not even mentioned to me. The sales lady helped us select a phone and told us the cost would be $260, which would be charged in monthly installments over 24 months on my Verizon bill. As we were checking out, I was told I owed $74.68 at checkout. I asked what this was for and was told it was taxes, and $20 for a setup fee. I was annoyed that the setup fee was not disclosed earlier, but paid and left. When I reviewed the invoice at home, I discovered that in addition to taxes and the "setup and go" fee, I had been charged $30 for a "Redux Membership," which is apparently a service that dries your phone if you get it wet. I returned to the store and complained about the fraudulent Redux fee and the last-minute setup fee to the manager. After first insulting me by acting like he was making a special allowance in refunding the Redux fee, I persisted, and he refunded the Redux fee and the setup fee. A few days later I received my Verizon bill and discovered a $30 "upgrade" fee and a monthly $10 "total mobile protection" fee. I called Verizon customer service. They apologized that these fees were not disclosed and reversed the charges. I don't know whether Verizon or the authorized retailer is to blame, but my sense is they are fraudulently adding these fees in hopes that the customer won't notice or care. In any case, I'm filing a complaint with the FTC. read more

We were helped by a young man named josh who gives such wonderful customer service, he is very polite, professional, friendly & patient. I went into this location after I received my phone in the mail from the main office. I had originally gone into the Porter Ranch Location where they ordered it for me, but told me they could not transfer my files, pictures, contacts etc. I was told to call customer service and they would walk me through it. I didn't want to do that so I thought I would stop buy this location and see if they would transfer my files for me. When I walked in I was helped by Mike Farahani. He was very helpful and enthusiastic and transferred all my contacts, files, pictures etc. He told me there is normally a $20.00 fee for doing this but he waived it for me. His service was EXCELLENT!! Not like the Porter Ranch location where they said "I can't do that for you just call customer service." I had the pleasure of working with Joshua there other day at the Granada Hills location. I have never been a store where everyone is happy to be working lol. The manager there is name Ish super helpful & friendly, these guy make you fill like family as soon as you walk in. So from my 2 experiences there: 1. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and helpful 2. Joshua is the plans man - helps you save money 3. There was a asst. Mgr. (A lady- I don't want to mess her name up but she sent a follow just to see how things were) 4. Fraudulent presentation. I came in b/c my Samsung III kept shutting down. I just wanted it to be fixed. The sales person told me that it would cost me $100 to get it replaced with my insurance. Whereas, i could switch in and get a new phone for only $50. The new plan was going to be unlimited talk and text and with the same 2 GB data service. He estimated that I would be paying about $70 something a month. I asked him to make sure that there would not be any extra charges before I signed the agreement. Now I get my bill and it's $90+. I also found out that if I cancel I will have to continue paying for the phone for the next 20 months or so. This is very deceptive. Going to the store and talking to the new guy made it worse. He was not listening and kept saying irrelevant things and insisted that he was listening. The manager doesn't fix the problem of deception and told me to call customer service where I wasted more time hearing the same thing about the contract that I signed. Make sure you read the contract b/c these guys lied through their teeth telling you a different thing than what you signed up for. I am so angry and so ready to cancel except that I still have to pay for the stupid phone that I don't even like. I was hoping Verizon would be better than AT&T but it's the same BS with a new name. Customer service call was terrible. This is pure evil strategy to hook customers. No ethics. Shame on you Verizon! read more

The sales staff goes out of their way to lie to your face when questioning their misrepresentations of costs & plans. They told me I was financing my new phone at $10/month when it's really over $30 and that after 2 months my new bill would be the same as it has been up until now. This is a lie & you'll find out the same after they have you sign their keypad that doesn't show you what your signing. Make them give you a computer print out (not their hand written lies) before making your purchases or agreement. If all Verizon stores operate this way there should be a class action lawsuit. read more

I came in here the other day looking to trade in my iPhone. As soon as I came in I felt very welcomed. I was helped by a sweet young lady Kaitlyn. Her customer service was though the roof, I didn't feel like I was being pressured into a new phone, if anything I felt like I walked away with a lot more knowledge on my device. Last week I went in looking to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 6s Plus, a rep named Jovani said they only had the normal ones. I told him I'd wait to upgrade, when he then told me how the Plus's all had a defect with the battery. Oh really? And what was this defect with the battery? He claimed because it had a larger screen, the battery would drain faster than a 6s. This was a straight up lie, as the Plus actually has a larger battery, and even on Apple's website you can see that the Plus has better battery life. He also claimed it drained faster because of it's 4k screen. Excuse me? When did Apple ever announce that? So straight up, he lies to me twice about the phone and tries to pressure me to come in and just get a regular 6s. Then he lies to me again, claiming the 6s Plus doesn't have image stabilization, only the regular ones do. Again, if you go to Apple's website, you'll see that the 6s has digital stabilization, which is actually worse, and the 6s Plus has optical, which is better! I will never step foot in that store again. They've completely destroyed my trust, and ruined my experience with them. read more

Though I had to go to a Verizon store and have it all worked out, he was sincere enough to call me and make sure that I was able to get it all sorted out and everything.
